"Ayu is back ahead of schedule!" Xiang Hengxi returned from his run, knocked on the door, and pushed it open.
It's rare for Luo Xikui to stay in bed today. She hasn't practiced the piano, exercised, or even washed up or had breakfast.
She didn't sleep all night yesterday, and now she can't say she's sleepy, but she feels very dizzy and lightheaded.
Hearing her brother rush in so excitedly, she only slightly raised her eyelids.
"You know?" Xiang Hengxi guessed this from his sister's completely unsurprised expression.
"Yes, I ran into her on the road last night," Luo Xikui said casually.
"You two are really destined to meet. Yihai City isn't that big, but it's not that small either. He just returned to the country, and you two bumped into each other," Xiang Hengxi said teasingly, raising an eyebrow.
Luo Xikui just twitched the corner of her mouth and said nothing. What's the use of being destined to meet if you're ultimately not meant to be?

"You asked him out, not me. I'm still sleepy." Luo Xikui buried her face back in the pillow.
Xiang Hengxi was both amused and annoyed by her lazy way of staying in bed, and said, "Luo Xiaokui, you're just asking for trouble."
Luo Xikui remained silent, simply closing her eyes as if she were asleep.
After Xiang Hengxi left her room, she slowly opened her eyes, reached for her phone, and pursed her lips upon seeing the message from Xin Chun.
Did he think she didn't want to see Xu Ziyu? She couldn't.
Luo Xikui gave a bitter smile, threw her phone back, and pulled the blanket over her head.
Because I slept through the night, I managed to get a quick, uninterrupted sleep.
When I woke up again, I felt extremely hungry and still a little groggy.
She got up, brushed her teeth, splashed some water on her face, and went downstairs with droopy eyelids and yawning.
As she reached the corner of the stairs, she heard a lively commotion downstairs, with the sounds of sweet oranges and taro filling the air. She didn't think much of it, assuming it was Mengmeng, and continued to drag her legs downstairs in her usual unladylike manner.
As she was getting down, she let out a huge yawn, and tears streamed down her face.
The living room seemed to fall silent all at once. She opened her sleepy eyes and froze instantly.
Xu Ziyu was sitting in the living room, surrounded by his two younger brothers. His parents were also sitting on the sofa, while his older brother was on a single sofa at the other end.
Everyone stared at her. She paused for a moment, then realized she was still in her pajamas and disheveled.
"You guys talk, you guys talk," she said sheepishly, preparing to slip back upstairs and hide her disheveled appearance.
"Sister, don't go!" Tianyu stood up, ran over in a few steps, grabbed Luo Xikui's wrist, pulled her down, and said, "Come and see the gifts Brother Yu brought us, you got one too."
Luo Xikui was forcibly pulled down and then pushed by the clueless Shen Tianyu to sit down next to Xu Ziyu.
It's one thing for her family to see her like this, but how can we let outsiders see her like this!
Unfortunately, no matter how much she glared at her clueless younger brother, he remained oblivious, and the whole family seemed to have no problem with Xu Ziyu seeing her like this.
"Look, look, this is what Brother Yu bought for me." Shen Tianyu was especially happy as he held up a figurine.

Luo Xikui chuckled twice, nodded, and then her stomach started growling again, much to her dismay.
So what if she's embarrassed? She's already lost all face in front of him. He even knows that she wet the bed once when she was in second grade. What does she have to be afraid of?
