Luo Xikui stared blankly at him, then pursed her lips, feeling somewhat aggrieved. This first kiss was anything but romantic, and his kissing skills were so poor.
Even if you haven't eaten pork, you've at least seen pigs run. In romantic movies, adults stick out their tongues when they kiss, but his kiss was like he was giving her CPR. He just blocked her mouth and did nothing else, like a wooden stake.
"Is this really your first kiss?" Luo Xikui asked somewhat awkwardly. He felt that there were so many foreign girls, and he was so outstanding. They had been out of contact for four years, so how come he hadn't gotten a girlfriend?
"I don't have a cheating habit," Xu Ziyu replied coldly, glaring at her fiercely. How dare she doubt him on that!
Luo Xi Kui was taken aback, staring straight at him. What did he mean? Had he always assumed she was his girlfriend? Even after four years of no contact, did he still think that way?
"Your kissing skills are terrible." She pouted and turned her head away.
Her mind was still filled with that kiss, that soft, intimate feeling—strange and unfamiliar, quite different from what she had imagined.
“Likewise.” Xu Ziyu’s gaze involuntarily drifted to her lips.
It was just a momentary impulse. Now look at her lips, the color of cherry blossom pink, very beautiful, and her philtrum is slightly upturned, especially soft.
That kiss was too hasty; it should have been a more tender kiss.
“Who’s the same to you?” Luo Xikui retorted. Based on her years of experience reading romance novels, she felt that kissing was a very simple thing.
"Armchair strategist," Xu Ziyu snorted.
"You!" Luo Xikui wanted to say that he didn't even have any paper, but suddenly remembered that she didn't want to argue with him. How did the atmosphere suddenly become so relaxed?
The blush on her face vanished instantly; she could no longer indulge in her intimacy with him.
"What's wrong?" Xu Ziyu noticed her expression change quickly. She had just returned to her usual energetic self, but suddenly she looked unwell again.
"Don't come looking for me anymore." Luo Xikui shrugged her left shoulder, breaking free from his grasp, pursed her lips, and said in a low voice, "Ayu, you just need to know that it's impossible for us."
"Do you think I can accept this ambiguous outcome?" Xu Ziyu grabbed her arm again. His knee suddenly throbbed with pain, and he frowned, forcing himself to stand.
"What exactly do you want me to say?" Luo Xikui felt like she was being driven crazy. The mental pressure was too great, but she couldn't say that thing out loud.
As Xu Ziyu watched her tears fall like pearls from a broken string, a sharp pain shot through his heart, far more intense than the pain in his knees.
"You don't need to say anything more, I won't force you." He raised his hand and gently wiped away her tears, saying in a deep voice, "But I will investigate myself, I will find out sooner or later."
"No! No!" Luo Xikui grabbed Xu Ziyu's hand tightly, her almond-shaped eyes wide open, looking extremely panicked.
Xu Ziyu was even more puzzled. What kind of secret did she have hidden that caused such a big change in her?
"Please, no." Luo Xikui lowered her head, her forehead pressed against his chest, terrified.
"I'll give you a day to think it over. Will you tell me yourself, or will I investigate?" Xu Ziyu put his arm around her shoulder, lowered his head and kissed the top of her head, and said slowly, "I'm not someone you can just give up on. You'd better have that clear understanding."
