Ni Sitian quietly took a condom and held it in her palm. She moved closer to Xu Tingchuan little by little and tentatively rested her head on Xu Tingchuan's shoulder.
While she was taking a shower, Xu Tingchuan applied the ointment. Afraid that she would smell his scent, he moved her head away and moved himself away.
Ni Sitian was stunned. Was he rejecting her approach?
She frowned slightly and moved closer to him.
Her closeness filled Xu Tingchuan's nose with her scent again. Normally, he would have simply pinned her down and taken her right there and then, but today he had to restrain himself.
"I'm reading a book," Xu Tingchuan reminded Ni Sitian.
Although the words were tactful, Ni Sitian understood that he was telling her not to get close to him, as it would disturb his reading.
He really is rejecting her!
Ni Sitian felt a pang of bitterness in her heart. He had satisfied her last night, but today she couldn't even compare to a book.
Men are all bad! Bad!
Ni Sitian reluctantly moved off his shoulder, rolled herself to the edge of the bed, and lay on her side with her back to him, far away from him.
Seeing her awkward expression, Xu Tingchuan wanted to reach out and comfort her, but then he smelled the ointment on his own body and dared not get any closer.
Ni Sitian lay on the edge of the bed, clutching the condom packaging bag in frustration. The more she thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt. Why was she so cooperative when he wanted it yesterday, but today when she wanted it, he was only focused on reading?
And just now he pushed her away without any mercy!
"Bastard!" Ni Sitian couldn't help but curse under her breath.
"Hmm?" Xu Tingchuan frowned and looked at Ni Sitian's back.

Xu Tingchuan looked down at the crumpled condom that had fallen right onto the page of his book, and picked it up.
Ni Sitian had just thrown it on a whim, never expecting it to be this thing. Her cheeks flushed instantly, but thinking of Xu Tingchuan's rejection earlier, she couldn't help but get angry and blurted out, "From now on, you can just hold that book! Don't come and hug me anymore!"
After she finished speaking, she rolled herself up in the blanket and buried herself in it.
Xu Tingchuan was slightly taken aback. He looked at the book and the condom in his hand, then at the sulking Ni Sitian, and finally realized that she had approached him earlier because she wanted to…
Then he pushed her away, and she misunderstood that he was rejecting her advances.
"Sitian." Xu Tingchuan leaned over and pulled at her blanket, but for a moment he didn't know how to explain why he had refused her earlier.

Ni Sitian gave a soft hum, "That's more like it."
"Sitian, how am I supposed to use this and the book? Can you come out and teach me?" Xu Tingchuan pulled the blanket up a little more.
Ni Sitian's heart softened at his repeated calls of "Sitian," but she didn't want to let him off so easily, so she deliberately said in a hard voice, "Why don't you just roll up the book and leave a hollow space? You can deal with the book slowly from now on!"
"Pfft!" Xu Tingchuan almost choked on his own words. Rolling a book up into a hollow shape to use as a tool? How could she even think of that!
After saying that, Ni Sitian realized that her imagination was too rich and she couldn't help but want to laugh, but she held it in and didn't let herself laugh out loud.
But after a while, she heard Xu Tingchuan seemingly rolling up a book.
He wouldn't be thinking...
