The more questions Ni Sitian was asked, the tighter she clenched her hands, which were hanging down on her legs.
She could roughly guess what kind of statements Jiang Yiyi and Zhang Yijia had given, which must have been used to slander them.
After about an hour of interrogation, the officer looked at Ni Sitian and said, "We will investigate all of this, and if necessary, we will ask you to come to the police station to cooperate."
Ni Sitian came out of the interrogation room looking exhausted and saw Jiang Yiyi walking out.
She was so angry that she rushed up and stopped Jiang Yiyi at the entrance of the police station.
"What nonsense did you spout to the police?" Ni Sitian stared at her in disbelief.
Jiang Yiyi smiled, raised an eyebrow, and said provocatively, "Tsk tsk, we're still at the police station, and you dare to threaten a witness?"
"What kind of witness are you? You clearly stood by and watched someone die!" Although the situation was chaotic at the time, Ni Sitian remembered it very clearly. Zhang Yijia was very close to Jiang Yiyi in that position. When Zhang Yijia was about to fall to the ground, Jiang Yiyi could have clearly helped her up, but she did nothing!
"Don't make baseless accusations without evidence." Jiang Yiyi took a step closer to Ni Sitian, patted her shoulder, and whispered in her ear, "For the sake of you being my fiancé's ex-girlfriend, I'll kindly tell you that you and your cousin will be facing legal proceedings in a few days."

Jiang Yiyi took a step back, looked at Ni Sitian with an innocent expression, and blinked her eyes: "How could I give false testimony? I saw you and your cousin push Zhang Yijia with my own eyes. Besides, this isn't the first time your cousin has gone crazy and tried to hurt Zhang Yijia. There's still a record of the case on the rooftop."
Upon hearing this, Ni Sitian's expression darkened; this was indeed a fatal problem.
There were no surveillance cameras in the hallway, and only the five of them were there. Li Shaoan was no longer there, and now Zhang Yijia and Jiang Yiyi were both testifying against her and Ni Tianzhen.
Originally, without other witnesses and evidence, it was a matter of each side having their own version of the truth. However, since Ni Tianzhen had kidnapped Zhang Yijia in full view of others, the police would probably believe Zhang Yijia's testimony more.
If they cannot produce strong evidence to prove their innocence, this matter could become quite complicated.
"Let Mr. Xu hire a good lawyer for you," Jiang Yiyi smiled, her eyes and brows full of smugness.
"You'd better be prepared to be accused of perjury!" Ni Sitian clenched her fist, determined not to lose face.
Jiang Yiyi relaxed her shoulders without any fear, as if to say that she couldn't do anything to her.
Ni Sitian was so angry she wanted to tear her face apart, but since they were in front of the police station, she had to control her emotions to avoid causing any more trouble.
Jiang Yiyi smiled and strode towards the road. A white BMW pulled up in front of her.
Ni Sitian saw that the person in the driver's seat was Qin Mubei.
"Mrs. Xu, would you like us to give you a ride?" Jiang Yiyi turned around, a provocative smile on her face.
Qin Mubei frowned slightly when he saw Ni Sitian.
He received a call from Jiang Yiyi asking him to come to the police station. He initially thought Jiang Yiyi had done something wrong, but now it seems that's not the case.
He opened the door and got out of the car, looking at Ni Sitian with concern.
