Chapter 63 Applying What You've Learned

Seeing her embarrassed expression, Xu Tingchuan couldn't help but smile faintly.

Ni Sitian noticed that everyone around them seemed to be looking at them, so she quickly grabbed Xu Tingchuan's wrist and tried to pull him away.

Unexpectedly, Xu Tingchuan suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.

Then, he lifted her chin with one hand, lowered his head, and pressed his lips to hers.

She opened her eyes wide in surprise and blinked twice.

Before she could even react, Xu Tingchuan released her, pinched her cheek, and said, "We're even."

Ni Sitian's face instantly turned bright red. She thought to herself, "This isn't even at all! She kissed my cheek, he kissed my lips! There's a huge difference!"

Xu Tingchuan's smile deepened as he took her hand and led her on a further stroll.

His nonchalant demeanor made Ni Sitian realize that her worries were unnecessary; he was thick-skinned and wouldn't feel embarrassed at all!

"Want another kiss?" He looked down at her.

Ni Sitian quickly covered her mouth and shook her head.

Xu Tingchuan turned back, a slight smile appearing on his lips, and tightened his grip on her hand.

Ni Sitian looked down at the two holding hands and couldn't help but smile.

At this point, she hadn't realized that she was becoming more and more accustomed to intimate actions with him, and was gradually changing for him.

The two spent an afternoon shopping in the mall, buying a lot of things, from large items like bookshelves and tables and chairs to small items like tissues and rags, each item carefully selected.

Ni Sitian was worried that he would get impatient if she dragged him shopping, but to her surprise, he was extremely patient and didn't show any sign of urging her while she was struggling to make a choice.

He seemed even better than she had imagined. How could such a good man have married her?

"We're here." Xu Tingchuan parked the car near a restaurant and reminded Ni Sitian, who was lost in thought.

Ni Sitian snapped out of her daze and hurriedly went to unbuckle her seatbelt.

Seeing her flustered and disorganized, Xu Tingchuan bent down to help her, and when he withdrew his hand, he accidentally touched her chest.

"I'm sorry." He immediately withdrew his hand. Even though he was her husband, he was still afraid that she would find such a gesture offensive and misunderstand that he was lustful.

Ni Sitian blushed, and on a whim, she copied Xu Tingchuan's trick from the mall, quickly groped his chest, then said "we're even" and fled from the car.

Xu Tingchuan couldn't help but laugh; she was quick to learn and apply what she learned.

After getting out of the car, he caught up with Ni Sitian in a few steps, took her hand, and walked towards the Western restaurant.

This Western restaurant is very famous; Ni Sitian had seen it recommended in a magazine.

It has been rated as one of the best places to propose, and it is said that the success rate of a proposal here is 100%.

Thinking about this, Ni Sitian felt her heart inexplicably race.

However, she also knew that Xu Tingchuan definitely didn't mean it that way. They had already registered their marriage, and the proposal had nothing to do with them.

As soon as they reached the door, a waiter politely greeted them: "This way, please, gentlemen."

Upon entering the restaurant, Ni Sitian noticed that it seemed unusually quiet today; apart from the staff, it appeared to be just the two of them.

Walking to the square table in the center, Xu Tingchuan gentlemanly pulled out a chair for her.

She looked at him sitting across from her and lowered her voice: "You booked the whole place?"

Xu Tingchuan simply gave a faint "hmm," as if it were no big deal.

Ni Sitian couldn't help but sigh once again at how different their views on money and spending were.

At this moment, the melodious sound of a violin began, and the piano accompaniment flowed out like a spring.
