Xu Tingchuan was about to have his meal when he noticed that her hands were behind her back, so he looked over.
Seeing that she seemed to be carrying a thermal lunchbox, the corners of her mouth couldn't help but curve into a smile: "Did you bring me food?"
When Ni Sitian realized she had been discovered, she lowered her head and awkwardly took out her lunchbox.
She glanced at the abundant and nutritious meal on the table, then, wanting to hide her ignorance, pursed her lips and said, "I ate it all by myself."
Xu Tingchuan raised an eyebrow, a half-smile on his face: "You come to take care of the patients, but don't bring them any food, yet you bring food for yourself?"
Ni Sitian blushed when she was exposed, lowered her head, and muttered softly, "Anyway, you have so much food."
"No matter how much food is in front of me, it's not prepared by you, so it has a different meaning." Xu Tingchuan leaned over, took the insulated food container from her hand, placed it on the table, and opened it.
"Don't eat it, this is from this morning, it might not taste good." Ni Sitian saw the millet porridge placed next to the other meals, and its shabby appearance was even more striking in comparison. She felt embarrassed and wanted to take it back.
Xu Tingchuan blocked her hand and said, "I just want to eat this."

After swallowing, Xu Tingchuan looked up at her and smiled, "It tastes very good."

Xu Tingchuan nodded and immediately proved his point by eating everything in the insulated container.
Ni Sitian watched him finish the porridge she had cooked, a smile appearing in her eyes. She handed him a tissue and said, "I'll make you something else tomorrow."
Xu Tingchuan smiled and ruffled her hair. She really was an easily satisfied person, like a child, regaining her confidence after being praised.
"What should we do with all this?" Ni Sitian looked at the table full of food, all of which were easy on the stomach and clearly had been carefully prepared.
"You eat." Xu Tingchuan was full and had no interest in the food on the table, not even glancing at it.
Ni Sitian picked up her spoon and ate a little of everything. They all tasted great. She glanced at the lunchbox and saw that it had the logo of a well-known medicinal cuisine restaurant. She couldn't help but say, "Secretary Lin is really capable. It must take two weeks to make a reservation for this medicinal cuisine restaurant."
"Really?" Xu Tingchuan didn't pay attention and started flipping through the folder in his hand.
Ni Sitian glanced at him discreetly, hesitated for a moment, and cautiously probed, "You said before that the car accident was with this Secretary Lin?"
"Hmm." Xu Tingchuan replied casually, his eyes still fixed on the contents of the document.

Xu Tingchuan paused here, giving Ni Sitian a strange look, "Why are you suddenly so interested in Secretary Lin?"
Ni Sitian was drinking soup when she choked and coughed a few times. She pretended to be upset and said, "It's nothing. I just thought she was young and capable, so we chatted casually."

Ni Sitian felt inexplicably annoyed when she heard him praise Lin Yi'an. She bit her lip and said, "It must have been very pleasant to go on a business trip with such a beautiful secretary."
