Chapter 3: Inexplicable Exotic Feelings
"Even if I wanted to live somewhere else, where could I go? Sooner or later..."
"It will be taken." Amina ended with a sigh.
Tu Xing's heart moved slightly. If he continued like this, wouldn't the place he came from also end up here?
But there had been no news before, everything was calm.
Then he thought of something else, and although he rejected it himself, it was not without rumors. He had received the mission to come and put an end to the Sultan.
Maybe it's not just me, there are a lot of people following me, all hiding in the dark.
Tu Xing wanted to ask her many things, but couldn't ask directly, so he picked out some indirect questions:
"So what are you going to do? Are you going to go check on Zainab? Does she have anyone to look after? I can accompany you."
Amina shrugged. "Forget it. I'm afraid I'll have a nightmare. His Majesty is moody."
"Look, the woman in the black dress next to him, she is the black magician - Celilda."
"People with bad intentions can't even get close to her."
Tu Xing swallowed his saliva and glanced at the wrinkles on the back of his hand. "What will happen? This is the first time I see her. I'm very curious."
Amina: "Sudden death from myocardial infarction."
When Tu Xing heard the answer, he felt a chill of fear. Fortunately, it was not her who he met first.
At the same time, a yearning for mysterious power gradually arose.
Is there any hope of mastering it, even superficially?
Tu Xing hesitated and said, "Only she can come to His Majesty's side." He was not sure whether the other party would be annoyed after hearing this, so he used the statement tone on purpose.
"Yes." Amina's tone was filled with hidden despair.
"Legend has it that all wizards and mages except herself were killed and their books burned to ensure her absolute dominance."
"Though I've never seen a second one either, so who knows."
It stopped abruptly, Amina looked up slightly at the young man's expression, and then put on her clothes.
The height difference between the two was estimated to be 30 to 40 centimeters. Amina was taller than her hat, so it was difficult for her to look at her at close range.
Tu Xing didn't understand the reason behind the other party's actions, and waited calmly.
Amina: "You followed His Majesty here to see him, or..."
"There has to be a reason. You came all the way here to talk to me about this. Is it just to listen to the fun?"
Tu Xing was unexpectedly sharp and finished his thoughts in the blink of an eye.
"I'm about to change my career and I'm looking for a way out in advance. It's just a coincidence that I ran into your Majesty's convoy and you."
"I learned about it and became very interested in magic."
Tu Xing smiled, then turned to look ahead, his gaze deepening. "Since the territory is constantly expanding, it will all belong to His Majesty sooner or later. Taking advantage of this opportunity, if I can..."
He lowered his head and looked at Amina. "Next time this happens, I can say a few words. Even if it's just a small change of your majesty's mind, it can save you from killing and torture."
The young woman pouted, "If you're not afraid of death, go ahead and try. Look, they're in."
A burly man with a great figure walked out of the carriage in front. As soon as he came into view, a faint golden light flashed.
Tu Xing looked closely and saw that it was a golden crown and long chain symbolizing the king, reflecting golden light in many places under the sunlight.
His upper body is naked, and his skin color is not in line with mainstream aesthetics, but like dark chocolate. A gold chain stretches across his chest, and the two colors intertwine, creating an inexplicably strong exotic feel.
His gaze stayed there for less than two seconds when he felt his trouser leg being pulled. He couldn't help but look down. Is there a dog here?
But I saw Amina kneeling on the ground, pulling up her trouser legs.
The woman lowered her face and tilted it to the side, gritting her teeth anxiously. "Don't you want to live? How dare a civilian stand in front of the Sultan?!"
Tu Xing suddenly pressed his body down and glanced around quickly. Everyone around him was kneeling on the ground. He stood out from the crowd.
There were people kneeling around the carriage in front, with their arms crossed and their foreheads pressed against the ground.
Tu Xing got down in a hurry and squatted on the ground, level with the crowd, so as not to appear so abrupt. Influenced by the environmental atmosphere, he quickly adjusted himself to be in line.
...It has been a long time since I have been so humble. I can kneel to the sky or the earth, but how can I kneel to a person?
I suddenly felt a subtle discomfort and frustration in my heart.
But then he thought that what was actually kneeling was a powerful and mysterious magical force. In comparison, his own ability was indeed not enough, and the discomfort in his heart disappeared a little.
Tu Xing raised his face slightly. Fortunately, he was not wearing a tall hat. As long as he lowered his body, it would not be very obvious.
In front of the carriage, the Sultan was walking towards the door of the house and seemed not to notice this side.
The black and golden man was very tall. Under the crown, he had half-long curly hair that was black and wild, and the lower half of his hair was covered with golden gauze.
Beside him, a woman in black stood almost side by side with him. She was a bit shorter than him, but still tall among the women.
The woman is very thin. Although the clothes are all black without any other colors, the details are extraordinary. The style is slim-fitting and three pieces are layered. The collar and edges are decorated with neat black cut surfaces, which also reflect light.
This scene looks exactly like a page from a magic atlas.
Tu Xing felt a little excited at the word "magic", but when he thought about the purpose of coming here, the excitement was mostly extinguished.
He observed the crowd obscurely, with one or two people usually following behind him. Their main purpose was to monitor him, but they also had other tasks.
Tu Xing knocked his leg down, forgetting to ask about the deadline.
Normally, special circumstances must be reported two or three weeks after actually arriving at the place.
He stared at the back of his left hand, made a soft "tsk" sound, and stood up with everyone else. He quickly glanced at Amina beside him, raised his leg and walked forward, his steps neither hurried nor slow.
Amina was also standing up. She saw a figure leaving from the side out of the corner of her eye, and she let out two "ah hey" sounds.
Tu Xing slowed down his pace, "Is this...something wrong?"
Amina looked embarrassed and hesitated, "Are you really going?"
Tu Xing: "Of course, just to see the situation."
Amina caught up with Zhiping and said, "Then let's go together. But we have a deal. If His Majesty wants to see you, you go alone. Just say I'm just passing by and we don't know each other."
After hearing this, Tu Xing smiled, but quickly stopped smiling when he thought about what was going to happen.
"While walking, you said a terrible end. Is that a death?"
"Yes." Amina's face flashed with pity. "Women may be forced to have sex with... non-human creatures..."
She muted her voice twice in a row. "If you can really prevent this from happening, then you will naturally have many people supporting you."
Tu Xing was stunned, then said, "Of course."
Lowering his voice, he asked, "Why do you have such a habit?"
Amina: "Legend has it that it wasn't like this before. The reason black magic is called 'black' is because it actually means 'evil, brutal, and promiscuous'. It's the price and aftereffects of great power."
"But the cost is actually borne by ordinary people."
The two of them quickly walked to the side of the house. Tu Xing's eyes quickly turned around the structure and saw that they were already inside the house. Their figures could not be seen from the front door.
"Find a window, and don't look around too much. Their team is still nearby, and they're all watching."
