Chapter 10 Seven Killings Formation

Qiqi wrinkled her little nose and looked in the direction of the yin energy.

Near the wall, a cluster of roses in the flowerbed was in full bloom, looking beautiful and vibrant.

However, amidst the vibrant colors, there was a wisp of inconspicuous black mist.

The dark aura originated from the flower bed at the base of the rose bushes. Qiqi narrowed her eyes; it seemed as if something was buried in the flower bed.

"Does Qiqi like roses?" Seeing Qiqi staring at the roses, Madam Ji couldn't help but ask.

If she likes it, she will come over and cut a bunch herself and put it in Qiqi's room in a little while.

Qiqi grinned widely and replied crisply, "I like it."

The black aura was invisible to ordinary people.

So Qiqi didn't tell anyone, afraid that her mother would be frightened if she found out.

"Besides roses, what other flowers does Qiqi like?" Mrs. Ji planned to cut some of Qiqi's favorite flowers and put them in her room later. "There are many flowers in the garden. Shall I take you to see them?"

Okay.

The mother and daughter strolled around the garden and looked at all the flowers.

Besides the roses, Qiqi also discovered that yin energy was seeping out from six other flowerbeds.

And without exception, those flowers all bloomed beautifully, and their colors were more vibrant than those of ordinary flowers.

Even some plants that shouldn't be blooming this season are blooming.

Qiqi counted the locations of the flower beds on her fingers, her little face looking a bit grim.

A Seven Killings Formation! Someone actually set up a Seven Killings Formation in the Ji family's garden!

It wasn't enough to just bring in a female ghost as a bound spirit; they also set up such a vicious killing formation. Just who did the Ji family offend?

Madam Ji noted down all the flowers that Qiqi glanced at several times, planning to pick them later.

Turning her head, she noticed that Qiqi's expression was off and immediately asked with concern, "What's wrong, Qiqi? Are you feeling unwell?"

"Don't worry about Mommy." Qiqi looked up at her with a curious expression. "Mommy, did you plant all these flowers?"

Mrs. Ji replied gently, "No, these were all planted by the flower growers in our family."

It seems the problem likely lies with this flower grower.

"Wow, the flower grower is amazing!" Qiqi exclaimed. "I saw Teacher Song plant these flowers before, but none of Teacher Song's flowers have bloomed yet."

Teacher Song is a teacher at the orphanage, and she is responsible for taking care of the children's daily lives.

She also loved tending to flowers and plants, so she was in charge of taking care of all the flowers and plants in the orphanage.

Mrs. Ji had met this Teacher Song at the orphanage that day; she was a very gentle and caring person who was also very kind to the children.

"Mommy, can I ask Uncle Flower Farmer how he grows these flowers?" Qiqi blinked her big eyes and said innocently, "Qiqi wants to teach Teacher Song. Teacher Song will be very happy."

Mrs. Ji squeezed Qiqi's little hand and said softly, "Okay, next time Uncle Flower Farmer comes, Mommy will take you."

Qiqi is such a good child, sensible, well-behaved, and grateful.

After taking a walk for a while, and estimating that the room was almost ready, Madam Ji led Qiqi back home.

Go to Qiqi's room, which is temporarily arranged on the sixth floor, the same floor as Ji Zeqian.

As soon as she entered, Qiqi couldn't help but exclaim "Wow!"

"What a beautiful room! It's like the castle where the Little Mermaid lives!"

Qiqi ran inside excitedly, her footsteps making a cheerful tap-tap-tap sound.

Pink dominated the room, with light pink gauze curtains hanging on the beautiful princess bed and a row of cute dolls of all shapes and sizes neatly arranged on the headboard.

The ceiling is decorated with a beautiful starry sky, the chandelier is shaped like a dolphin, and pretty silver chains are wrapped around the walls, adorned with star, moon, and sun lamp decorations.

Qiqi's big eyes looked around, wanting to touch it but afraid of getting it dirty. She withdrew her hand, wiped it on her clothes, and then gently touched the doll on the bedside table.

Wow, these dolls are so soft! They're even softer than the teru teru bozu dolls that Teacher Lin sewed for them.

Most importantly, these dolls were all clean, unlike the cursed doll she was holding in her arms.

Thinking of this, Qiqi couldn't help but poke the doll's head again.

Behave yourself, or I'll punish you!

"Does Qiqi like this room?" Madam Ji couldn't help but feel happy as she looked at her excited little face.

Qiqi's smile is so warm, like a little sun, it's easy to infect people with it.

"I love it!" Qiqi exclaimed loudly, running back to Madam Ji, hugging her leg, and gesturing for her to bend down.

After Mrs. Ji obediently bent down, he immediately tiptoed and gave her a heavy kiss on the cheek: "Thank you, Mom."

"You're welcome, I'm glad Qiqi likes it." Mrs. Ji chuckled and ruffled her hair. "Shall I take you to the dressing room to take a look?"

Okay.

Upon entering the dressing room, Qiqi let out an even more exaggerated exclamation than before.

Her big, dark eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at the dazzling array of clothes in the walk-in closet: "Mommy, are all these for Qiqi?"

"Yes, these are all prepared by Dad and Mom for Qiqi." Because the adoption of Qiqi was sudden, Ji Chengfeng only had time to have the children's clothing store in the mall send over all the new seasonal children's clothes.

After that, we'll hire a private designer to create a custom design specifically for Qiqi.

Qiqi looked at Madam Ji, hesitatingly: "Mom, buying so many clothes must be very expensive."

Last time, Tian Tian said she wanted to wear a little skirt, so the headmaster and teachers collected bottles for half a month to buy one for each girl.

But none of those dresses are as pretty as the ones her mother prepared for her, so these must be very expensive.

Thinking it over, Qiqi lowered her head and tugged at her little dress, then looked up at Madam Ji earnestly and said, "Mommy, there are too many dresses. Qiqi can't wear them all. Let's take them back and return them!"

Upon hearing this, Madam Ji guessed what she was thinking. Remembering that the child had been in an orphanage and probably hadn't worn nice clothes much, she felt extremely distressed.

She knelt down and touched Qiqi's little face: "Qiqi, don't worry, buying these won't cost much. Mom and Dad have money and want to buy them for you, so don't feel guilty."

After she assured her repeatedly, Qiqi finally felt relieved. She blinked and asked, "Mommy, can Qiqi give some of the dresses here to Tiantian and the others?"

"Sweetie is..."

“My best friends at the orphanage,” Qiqi said, “are Tiantian, Mumu, and Zhouzhou. But Grandpa Director is too poor to afford dresses.”

“That’s possible,” Mrs. Ji said gently, “but are these children the same age as Qiqi? If not, they might not be able to wear these little dresses.”

Qiqi blinked: "Ah...is that so?"
