Su Deng turned around abruptly and saw the hotel manager standing three meters away, his smile remaining impeccable.
Her first instinct was to slash, but after she swung her sword, she saw the white badge on his chest.
Su Deng braked sharply, the sword stopping at his neck.
The hotel manager was startled, his face turning pale, but he remained polite, "Sir, what's wrong?"
Su Deng glanced at the elevator, sheathed her sword, and asked him, "Did you go upstairs just now?"
The hotel manager shook his head. "According to the hotel's policy, the manager will not go upstairs unless called by a guest."
Su Deng paused slightly, "Will waiters proactively bring the food?"
The hotel manager stated, "Our hotel adheres to the principle of preparing and delivering food to guests' tables. If no guests have placed an order, we will not deliver food proactively. Furthermore, our hotel only has one manager!"
It seems that what I just saw was fake, Su Deng thought to herself.
She told the manager, "I need to check out and leave now."
The hotel manager resumed his usual professional smile, "I'm sorry, sir, but once you check into this hotel, you cannot check out before completing one full night!"
Su Deng: "Then I'm not staying here anymore. I want to go out. Open the door."
"Can……"
"Bang!"
Just as the hotel manager was about to say something, a loud bang suddenly came from the elevator. Su Deng's expression hardened, and she said coldly, "Open the door!"
The hotel manager, seemingly oblivious to the unusual noise, smiled and said, "Sir, our hotel does not open doors from the inside out after 6 PM."
Su Deng's eyes darkened as she kicked the hotel door shut.
Not open.
He slashed with his sword.
The gate remained unmoved.
"If you are in a real hurry, you can wait here for a moment. If someone comes to check in, you can leave when the door opens," the hotel manager said.
It seems that this is the only way.
Su Deng stared at the elevator.
The loud noise grew closer.
Soon, the elevator doors opened, and the "hotel manager" walked out, wearing a yellow badge, with one head on his neck and another in his hands. The two heads looked exactly alike and both wore eerie smiles.
Su Deng stepped back and, turning her head, realized that the hotel manager, who had been behind her just moments before and was wearing a white badge, had disappeared.
The person in charge just now said that there is only one person in charge in the hotel, but he didn't say that he was the only one.
Therefore, regardless of what badge they wear, there can only be one person in charge of the entire hotel, and they are unaware of each other's existence; if one appears, the other will disappear.
Two identical responsible persons cannot be in the same frame.
Su Deng stared at the "person in charge" in front of her with a gloomy look, and then swung her sword at him again.
They were chopping off heads, too.
After the second head fell off, a third head grew out of his body. The fallen head flew into his hand, and the three heads formed a triangle.
Su Deng: "..."
The next moment, a head suddenly flew up from the "person in charge's" hand and opened its mouth to bite Su Deng.
Su Deng swiftly swung his sword, slicing the head to pieces, the fragments falling to the ground in a nauseating manner.
The scary thing is!
These bits of meat were visibly wriggling and piecing themselves back together on the ground, as if flowing backwards.
In the blink of an eye, it returned to its original complete head, and together with the other head in the "person in charge's" hand, both heads opened their mouths wide and attacked her.
Su Deng frowned, then knocked the head off and plunged the sword tip into the "person in charge's" heart.
But the "person in charge" was still alive, and his wounds healed rapidly.
This thing is impossible to kill.
The front door is locked, and I can't get back into my room.
Su Deng stared intently at the "person in charge," her gaze fixed on the yellow badge on his chest.
The person in charge wearing a white badge can be completely trusted.
Those not wearing badges are robots; kill them immediately.
The rules don't mention anything about talking to the person wearing the yellow badge and returning to your hotel room. They don't explain how to resolve the situation or what the consequences would be if you did talk to them.
Just because it wasn't mentioned doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
What if we changed his yellow badge to white? Would that make him a trustworthy person in charge?
With that thought in mind, Su Deng dodged the two bloody heads that were attacking her again and ran towards the front desk.
She searched through all the drawers and other places where she could put things, but found nothing useful or any other badges.
She frowned, dodging the "person in charge's" attacks while looking around.
I couldn't find it.
She still had the room key card, but she couldn't open the door.
In this situation, there are no items available in the game's system shop, and brute force is useless.
If a hotel has only one person in charge, meaning only one person can exist in a space, would there be no restrictions if there were two spaces?
Su Deng's eyes flickered slightly. She stepped aside to avoid the "person in charge," entered the elevator, pressed the mechanical switch, and went straight to the top floor.
Upon reaching the 8th floor corridor, she stood motionless, intently listening to the sounds coming from inside the elevator.
About three minutes later, sure enough, there was a commotion in the elevator as the "person in charge" caught up with his two severed heads.
Su Deng didn't fight him. She kicked him away and then slipped into the elevator before going down to the lobby.
really!
Behind the front desk in the lobby, there was a hotel manager wearing a white badge on his chest.
Su Deng didn't rush over. She stood close to the elevator, listening to the sounds inside. When she heard the elevator going down and it was almost at the first floor, she reached out and grabbed the person in charge behind the counter without any hesitation.
