Chapter 35 Mental Overdraft Cultivation

After practicing boxing techniques with the video for two hours, Lin Ruo was completely drained of energy. She sat cross-legged on the ground, her water-based supernatural power rapidly circulating throughout her body, and a warm and comfortable feeling quickly overwhelmed her.

She lay on the ground, her mental energy surging wildly. A huge water ball slowly appeared in her hand, rapidly changing shape, transforming into the forms of Ah Shou and Ah Fu, standing or lying down, running or standing. Each form was lifelike. This kind of training consumed mental energy very quickly, and completing any one of the forms was comparable to Lin Ruo using her superpower at full strength.

So in just over an hour, her mental energy was completely depleted, and she was even somewhat overdrawn.

Since Afu and Ashou successfully mutated, she would overdraw her mental energy every time she cultivated her superpower. Although she would have a splitting headache after overdrawing, her mental energy would improve very quickly in this way.

Despite the intense headache, she picked up two level 3 crystal cores from the ground. These were prepared before her training, as her mental energy was exhausted and she could no longer open up the space.

As soon as she got her hands on the crystal core, a cool sensation spread through her body. Lin Ruo gritted her teeth and squeezed out the last bit of her mental energy to connect with the energy within the crystal core. The energy quickly rushed into her crystal core, nourishing her mental energy, and her supernatural abilities also began to operate rapidly, frantically absorbing this energy.

An hour later, Lin Ruo found more than a dozen crystal shells that had been absorbed in front of her. She opened her eyes, a glint of light flashing in them. She let out a long breath; even she couldn't bear the headache from the exhaustion of her mental energy.

However, her training was remarkably effective. After a month of persistent daily practice, her water-based superpowers were finally about to level up.

If other superhumans knew that she cultivated like this, they would definitely curse her as a madwoman!

Their bodies have been modified by superpowers, which has enhanced their physical strength and increased their pain tolerance. However, this does not include the mental aspect. Whenever mental power is involved, the pain is ten or a hundred times worse than physical pain!

Lin Ruo endures such pain to cultivate every day; what else could he be but a madman!

Lin Ruo stood up, stretched lazily, her bones cracking, and then she felt her blood flowing smoothly, her whole body returning to its peak condition.

When the door to the second bedroom was opened, Ah Shou obediently lay down at the doorway. It and Ah Fu would take turns guarding Lin Ruo every day while she was cultivating, fearing that something might happen to her.

Lin Ruo squatted down and gave Ah Shou's fluffy head a good rub. "Good boy! How about I reward you with some steamed buns later?"

"Woof!" Ah Shou's eyes sparkled. It loved the delicious food its owner made, which tasted much better than raw meat. Unfortunately, its owner never gave it much.

Lin Ruo went into the bathroom, took off her sweaty clothes, threw them into the washing machine in her space, took out a set of clothes that had been dried in the sun and placed them aside, and then began to use her water powers to quickly take a shower and change into the prepared clothes.

Lin Ruo connected the hair dryer to the charging box and turned it on. Her hair had grown quite a bit; what was originally ear-length was now longer than her ears. She picked up the scissors and began to trim her hair.

When Lin Ruo came out of the bathroom, she looked capable and dashing.

Lin Ruo took out 20 steamed buns from her spatial storage. The buns she steamed were very large, each about the size of an adult man's fist. Even with her appetite, she could only eat five.

The rest were for Ah Shou and Ah Fu, but when it came time to divide them, she found there was only one left, and she saw Ah Shou and Ah Fu staring at that bun.

She suddenly remembered a saying: "When children are at odds, it is often because the elderly are immoral."

She touched her nose; she seemed to now have a sense of crisis regarding this immorality. She quickly took out another one from her spatial storage and then divided it evenly.

She squatted down to one side, watching the two of them devour two buns in one bite, and couldn't help but click her tongue. If they always ate the same things as her, she probably wouldn't have to do anything but cook all day.

Shaking her head to banish the terrible thought from her mind, she stood up and walked to the window, replenishing the power of her supernatural ability on the ice outside the window. Then she picked up her binoculars and looked at the large supermarkets on the roadside outside the community, where people were coming and going in an endless stream, even though the water level was already so high.

She glanced at it once, then put the binoculars away and went to replenish the power of the other windows in the house. Although the ice on the windows wouldn't melt from the heavy rain outside, it still needed to be replenished with power regularly, and Lin Ruo replenished it about once a week.
