Chapter One: A Warm-hearted Girl

Even if someone isn't a professional, he can still point out the problems: a big mouth, small eyes, a wide forehead, or a flat nose.

But when faced with this girl, no matter how hard he looked, he concluded that there was nothing about her face that could be improved.

You have to understand that even when he saw beauties like Violet and Philliss, after the initial amazement, he could still find some shortcomings.

Wu Yu even used his skills on her.

Wu Yu did not intend to attack her, but wanted to verify a conjecture in his mind. When Wu Yu looked at her, it was like an X-ray, directly penetrating the layer of clothing covering her body and completely recreating her physical body in his mind.

Don't get me wrong, Wu Yu isn't a lecher. He's currently focused on his calculations with the same single-minded concentration he has when working on math problems for the college entrance exam.

The golden ratio? The golden ratio? And the golden ratio again!

This girl's figure perfectly conforms to the golden ratio; even the god of mathematics would probably be unable to help but exclaim in admiration at such a masterpiece.

Through the system, Wu Yu confirmed that the girl's appearance had reached a state of perfection. To make a bold assumption, the reason why he thought she wasn't pretty at first glance wasn't because she wasn't actually pretty, but most likely because her beauty had surpassed the realm of human understanding and reached some indescribable level.

To put it bluntly, she should be considered a complete monster, possessing a physical body that no human could possibly have.

Being targeted by such a monster made Wu Yu feel terrible. He had no idea what her purpose was, and all he wanted to know was how to avoid her.

"Sister, we can't find the way to the Dragon Merchant Guild. Can you take us there?" However, just as Wu Yu was staring intently at the girl's body like a lecherous wolf, Violet had already revealed their target to him.

What a terrible teammate!

Wu Yu cursed inwardly before coldly refusing with a straight face, "No need, we don't want to go to the Dragon Merchant Guild right now."

"But I was quite bothered when I saw those two on the roadside earlier, weren't I?" the girl asked, tilting her head in confusion.

"Yes, yes, sister, we're lost! Please, show us the way! We came to the capital to visit a friend, but we're unfamiliar with the area and have been lost for ages." Violet had even learned to play the victim, grabbing the girl and pleading as she passed Wu Yu.

"Don't worry, I'll take you there." The girl agreed without hesitation.

"Great, Wu Yu, let's go!" Violet was overjoyed and ran back to grab Wu Yu's hand, ready to leave. But after taking two steps forward, she found that Wu Yu was still standing there motionless.

“I told you, we don’t need your help,” Wu Yu continued to emphasize.

Since we haven't figured out what to do next, we just need to stop going along with her wishes.

"Why refuse help from others when you're clearly in trouble?" the girl asked, puzzled.

"Then why are you helping us for no reason?" Wu Yu retorted hostilely.

“God said, ‘Extend a helping hand to those in distress, and there will be no one suffering in the world.’ Isn’t helping others a matter of course?” The girl was puzzled by Wu Yu’s question, but after thinking for a while, she still gave her answer.

"What a self-evident truth," Wu Yu thought with disdain. Only hypocrites would say such things. Truly good people wouldn't spout so much nonsense.

"How...laughable." Wu Yu's tone plummeted, becoming almost inaudible.

Because he couldn't bring himself to mock those pure eyes.

Through those blue eyes, Wu Yu seemed to see a crystal-clear lake, so bright it contained no impurities, revealing everything at the bottom, including her emotions, which were laid bare for all to see.

What's so surprising? I actually thought what she said was my true inner thought.

Although people often say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, we all tend to deliberately conceal our gaze, afraid of exposing our inner selves to others. However, Wu Yu felt no sense of hypocrisy or pretense from this girl, because the windows to her soul were always open.

"Then please lead the way." For some reason, Wu Yu gave up thinking about the possible conspiracies and schemes behind it all and tried to trust the girl.

"Please follow me." The girl nodded, said nothing more, and walked ahead at a moderate pace.

"Ugh." Looking at the girl's back, Wu Yu was still hesitating whether to follow when a sharp pain shot through his waist.

Wu Yu clutched his waist and glared at Violet, who had just ambushed him.

"Brother was right to warn me to be careful. Wu Yu is a pervert, his eyes are practically popping out of his head," Violet said disdainfully, then skipped after the departing girl.

"Damn it, Jack is talking bad about me behind my back." Wu Yu cursed under his breath and silently followed.

The three of them walked in silence, and after turning several corners, they actually arrived at the gate of the Dragon Merchant Guild.

Looking at the three-meter-tall dragon sculpture in front of the door, Wu Yu couldn't help but sigh, "They really are rich; they're so generous!"

This was the first time Wu Yu had ever seen such a huge building in the capital. It was almost the size of a football field. How many employees would it house?
