After familiarizing himself with his weapon, Wu Yu put the sword back in its case, lifted the rope in front of the case, and carried it behind his back.
Actually, this sword is rather slender, so it would be best to carry it in a scabbard at the waist. However, considering the weight of the sword, only carrying it on his back would not hinder Wu Yu's movements. A dashing way of carrying a sword like a chivalrous knight-errant is something that Wu Yu can only consider once he advances to the second-tier transcendent and has the money to buy a scabbard.
"Wu Yu, I'm sorry." Once things were finally safe, Violet mustered her courage, bowed to Wu Yu, and solemnly apologized.

“I won’t change it,” Violet said with surprising determination.
"Huh?" Wu Yu wondered if he had misheard.
“I said I would never change, and even if I had to choose again, I would still come here to see the dragon.”
Violet raised her voice this time, staring intently at Wu Yu with a hint of hesitation in her eyes. However, she did not choose to avoid Wu Yu's gaze; she was expressing her will in this way.
"Why?" Wu Yu asked softly, without anger or blame. He simply wanted to know the reason behind it; he didn't want a time bomb to be around him.
“My brother once told me that if I ever had the chance to go out into the world, I should do what I wanted to do, without fear or hesitation, and make my life wonderful, instead of being as timid and hesitant as I was when I was in a wheelchair,” Violet said nostalgically.
There was nothing to sympathize with. Everyone has their own past and their own difficulties. Wu Yu's compassion was not excessive. After coming to this world, he even became a bit harsh. So Wu Yu just listened silently without expressing his opinion.
"Wu Yu, you can leave anytime you want. Layton and the others will take me to the capital." Although she was a little reluctant, Violet did not hesitate when she said these words.
"Kick me out? Where am I supposed to freeload without you?" Wu Yu joked, then, seeing Violet's subsequent smile, he continued wearily.
"I've known for a long time that finding what you care about in this world is not an easy thing. Don't let my laziness fool you, I can't give up after just one setback. If you don't hate me, can I continue to freeload off you?"
"Wu Yu, will you tolerate my willfulness?" Violet's heart stirred with a ripple, and she asked the question she should say and wanted to say at the same time.

"Things shouldn't happen more than three times!" Wu Yu held up three fingers and waved them in front of Violet's eyes, then pressed his index finger down.
"Including this time, no matter how absurd your actions are, I will forgive you."
"Wu Yu really knows how to charm girls." Violet's tone suddenly became playful. She turned around abruptly, just like when they used to be together, and said sarcastically, "Brother taught me all these tricks, don't treat me like an ordinary young lady from a wealthy family. I don't like this kind of cheesy talk."
“I don’t like lying about things that don’t make sense,” Wu Yu said frankly.
"Hmph, that's easy for you to say. If I went and committed murder, arson, looting, and plunder, how could you possibly forgive me?" Violet said disdainfully.
“I didn’t like bad guys in the past,” Wu Yu said honestly. Then he put his hand on Violet’s shoulder and sighed, “But I don’t care about these things anymore. If you want to do bad things, then go ahead. Until I give up on you, I will always be your accomplice.”
Violet's shoulders trembled. After a long while, she said self-deprecatingly, "Even my brother can't tolerate me becoming a bad guy. Wu Yu, what you said is just sweet talk to deceive girls."
"Why don't you try it and see?" Wu Yu said provocatively. "No matter what you do, I will forgive you twice more. Just go ahead and do it. I'm not afraid to be even more assertive. To protect you, I'm even willing to fight against the whole world."
"Yeah?"
Violet suddenly turned around, her eyes so empty and deep, all her emotions locked away. She said coldly, like a machine, "I'll be watching."
Violet looked similar to how she did in the days following Jack's death, but she was even more intimidating.
Wu Yu suddenly felt that he might have exaggerated too much, and he asked with some concern, "You're not really planning to make headlines, are you?"
Violet's expression vanished quickly, and she suddenly smiled and said, "Relax, don't laugh at me, Wu Yu. I've always wanted to become a female knight recorded in knight biographies, a partner of justice to protect this world. How could I possibly do bad things?"
