"Hey Jack, are you up to something?" Wu Yu said casually to Jack while munching on a delicious piece of bread.

"No." Jack's answer was as concise as ever, with no change in his expression.

"Then why did you choose this particular shop?" Wu Yu continued to question. He knew that Jack had taken him around the deserted city for a long time last night before finally settling on this place.

To be honest, Wu Yu thought this store was just average. After browsing around for so long, there were many stores with better value for money. Wu Yu believed that Jack would choose this store for only one reason: it was the closest to the princess's residence.

Jack lowered his head and drank his porridge, ignoring Wu Yu.

"Tell me quickly, have you taken a liking to the princess?" Wu Yu leaned closer and said with a wicked smile, "Don't be shy. A beautiful lady is sought after by a gentleman. If you like her, be decisive. Don't worry about the difference in your social status. Take the initiative, and I will definitely support you."

No, you're overthinking it.

"Then look me in the eye when you speak."

"I'm full." Seemingly unable to bear Wu Yu's incessant chatter, Jack threw down his bowl and headed for the door.

Wu Yu looked at the half-eaten bag in his hand, reluctant to throw it away. After thinking for a while, he simply took it and followed along. As soon as he stepped out, Wu Yu's eyes lit up. Not far away, at the entrance of the hotel, Phillis was coming out surrounded by a group of guards, and Jack was walking over as well.

"Ha, men are all big pigs," Wu Yu said mockingly, glancing at Jack and shaking his head before following him. What could he do? He, Wu Yu, always loved being a wingman; the simple pleasures of ordinary people were just that.
