Wu Xiaofang spread out her palms: "At least fifty."
"The more you order, the cheaper the price..."
Chen Sisi immediately became interested: "How cheap is it? Tell me."
Wu Xiaofang opened her notebook and, forcing herself to speak, said, "The minimum order quantity is fifty bottles. For orders between fifty and five hundred bottles, the unit price is five cents; for orders between five hundred and one hundred bottles, the unit price is four cents; for orders between one thousand and one hundred bottles, the unit price is three and a half cents; for orders between five thousand and one hundred bottles, the unit price is three cents. If the minimum order quantity is more than ten thousand bottles, the unit price is two and a half cents."
As she listened, Chen Sisi was calculating in her mind that it was true that the more you ordered, the cheaper the unit price became.
But she can't order more than 10,000 orders right now. Based on her current demand, the most expensive price is around five cents per order.
Chen Sisi glanced at the glass bottles on the stall. The craftsmanship was quite good; the bottles were thick and sturdy.
"Do you have any in stock?" Chen Sisi asked.
Wu Xiaofang nodded vigorously: "Yes! We have plenty of stock on hand..."
Her unintentional remark caused Chen Sisi's fingers to pause slightly.
With the Lunar New Year approaching, how could a factory with good profits possibly have any stock or inventory?
Her intuition told her that there might be something wrong with the factory.
Chen Sisi wasn't in a hurry to buy the bottles, and started to subtly probe for information: "My demand is also quite large, and I'm looking for a factory to cooperate with long-term. I've already looked at several..."
Wu Xiaofang was naive and had only been working for less than half a year. Seeing that Shen Sisi's clothes and appearance exuded intellectual elegance and that she was dazzlingly beautiful, she immediately believed her words.
"Sister, you've come to the right person. Our Huaguang Glass Factory used to specialize in door and window glass, but now we're transforming and starting to manufacture high-quality glass bottles. How about we find some time to have our manager come and talk to you?"
Wu Xiaofang had been setting up her stall here for several days, but almost no one paid any attention to her. This pretty lady in front of her was one of the few people who were interested. She felt like she had grasped a lifeline and wished she could fly back to the factory immediately to invite the eloquent manager over.
Chen Sisi's eyes flickered slightly: "No need for a manager, I just enjoy chatting with you."
This manager is a shrew from two years ago; he's all talk and no action, not as honest as the young girl in front of him.
"I... I'm not good with words, I'm afraid I won't be able to explain myself clearly..." Wu Xiaofang said uncertainly.
Before Chen Sisi could speak, a loud voice came from behind her: "You child, don't you know how to practice your speech?"
She turned around and her gaze fell on a slightly overweight middle-aged woman.
It's her!
The old woman I rescued on the ferry that day.
Xu Jinhua recognized Shen Sisi at a glance; how could she forget her savior?
"Hey girl, it's you!"
Shen Sisi was also quite surprised. Was Jiangcheng too small, or were they truly destined to be together?
"Auntie, it's been a long time!" Shen Sisi looked at the old woman in front of her. She was thinner than when she last saw her, and her face was sallow and she looked very unwell.
"Mom, what brings you here?" Wu Xiaofang awkwardly came out from behind the stall. She was serving customers when her mother suddenly appeared, and it seemed she knew the pretty lady.
Xu Jinhua took a water bottle out of the basket: "You child, you don't even bring water with you when you go out. Where will you get hot water when you're thirsty?"
Wu Xiaofang took the kettle, and to be honest, she felt a warm feeling in her heart.
"Mom, do you know this pretty lady?" Wu Xiaofang asked.
"Do you remember when I told you about that day on the ferry, a young woman carrying a child reached out and saved me? It was her..."
Wu Xiaofang's pupils suddenly dilated, and she exclaimed excitedly, "Oh my god, it was you! Thank you, sister, you saved my mother's life..."
Shen Sisi never expected that the little girl selling glass bottles was the old lady's daughter.
Isn't that a coincidence?
Chen Sisi smiled and waved her hand: "It was nothing, just a small favor, nothing to mention. I didn't expect it to be such a coincidence..."
Xu Jinhua smiled, her face full of wrinkles: "It's all fate, it's all fate!"
She tried her best to persuade Chen Sisi to come to her house for a meal. Coincidentally, she had just bought a big pork leg, which she then stewed.
Seeing that she was about to pull Chen Sisi away, Wu Xiaofang became anxious: "Mom, I'm talking business with this lady, don't interrupt."
When business was mentioned, Xu Jinhua was furious: "What kind of lousy factory is that? I think you should just quit! You don't do any real work all day, all you do is send people here to set up stalls and solicit business."
After pondering for a moment, he asked, "A run-down factory? Trying to drum up business?"
Wu Xiaofang looked around in a panic: "Sister, how about we find somewhere else to talk?"
"good……"
Unable to refuse Xu Jinhua's kindness, and also wanting to find out what was going on with the glass factory, Shen Sisi went to their home with them.
Xu Jinhua's family lived in Hulu Lane near the South Gate; it was a house with a courtyard.
The yard is filled with all kinds of vegetables, including bok choy, tomatoes, and scallions, creating a lively atmosphere.
The mother and daughter treated Shen Sisi as an honored guest and quickly invited her into the house, where the fire in the stove was burning brightly and it was especially warm.
It was only then that Shen Sisi learned that the old lady's name was Xu Jinhua, and that she shared the same surname as her mother-in-law.
Grandma Xu has two children. One son works on a boat, and the other daughter is Wu Xiaofang, who joined the glass factory six months ago. Not long after she started working there, something happened at the factory.
"What exactly happened?" Shen Sisi asked.
When the factory was mentioned, Wu Xiaofang sighed: "Sisi, you are my mother's savior, so I won't hide it from you."
Wu Xiaofang's Huaxing Glass Factory used to produce large pieces of glass, such as doors and windows, and the business was quite profitable.
