Chapter 3: Life and Death Moment

And it's not just about speed.

The powerful force also penetrated the muscles, shook the bones, and even shifted Zhang Heng's internal organs.

He fell from the air conditioner, his body spinning in the air, his mind in a mess.

But a threat of death was approaching, and Zhang Heng's consciousness returned in a flash. He saw a huge black mouth biting towards him, and the sharp white teeth were about to pierce through his round body.

At the critical moment, Zhang Heng's "fearlessness of natural enemies" saved him from being frightened to the point of paralysis. He glanced around and found that there was a wall behind him.

He swung his tail quickly, using the point where it touched the wall as the force point, and exerted all his strength to flick it towards the lower left.

“Click!”

The cat's mouth closed, its fangs clenched, only biting off a few strands of mouse hair. Zhang Heng hung on the edge of his limbs, narrowly avoiding death.

But the natural enemy behind him did not give him time to breathe and pounced on him.

“Squeak, squeak, squeak!”

Zhang Heng ran for his life, and at the moment when the cat's claws were about to hit him, he squeezed into a gap in his field of vision.

It was a narrow gap less than three fingers wide between the wooden wardrobe and the wall.

For just a few minutes, Zhang Heng kept flashing in front of the King of Hell. Fortunately, he was not doomed.

Even though Zhang Heng's body was almost stuck in the gap and couldn't move, it was still better than the black cat outside, which couldn't even stretch its claws very far.

In addition, the black cat could not move the heavy wooden cabinet, so Zhang Heng was safe for the time being.

As for the black cat blocking outside and trying to starve him to death, that's a bit far-fetched.

You have to know that Zhang Heng is a vole and he had just eaten. He can definitely survive for another 15 days without food or water.

But the black cat obviously can't do that.

Next, he just needs to endure with the black cat, and when the black cat can no longer hold on, he will wait for an opportunity to leave.

“Meow meow meow!”

The black cat pressed itself against the wardrobe, stretching out its claws repeatedly, but it could never reach Zhang Heng. It was so anxious that it was spinning around in circles, drooling with greed.

"Stinky cat, if you want to eat me, go practice for another ten years."

Zhang Heng glanced at the black cat, then half-closed his eyes and dozed off to recover his energy.

"squeak!"

But it wasn't long before Zhang Heng let out a scream. A sharp, acrid pain shot through his lower limbs.
