"Also, that packet of medicine powder was left by Doctor Meng. He told you to open it yourself tomorrow morning, sprinkle the powder on it again, and then wrap it up again," Aunt Chun said, pointing to a small paper packet on the windowsill.

Li Mai slowly turned her head to look over, her gaze blank for a long time before she softly asked, "Where's my grandma?"

There was no one left on the bed.

The poor child was sold by her grandmother to a paralyzed man as a way to bring her good luck before she died.

Originally, they all thought that their third aunt genuinely loved the child, so why would she do such a thing?
