The matchmaker, Zhou, was sitting at the table near the door. When she saw the two of them come in, she quickly stood up with a smile.
Li Mai looked at the innkeeper and asked with a smile, "Manager Zhang, is our usual private room currently available?"
"The rooms are empty, Young Master Zhou, Madam. You may go up directly. Would you like the tea as usual?"
“Okay, as usual!” Li Mai nodded and went upstairs.
Matchmaker Zhou followed the two men upstairs.
After the waiter brought the tea and snacks and left, Li Mai looked at Matchmaker Zhou with a half-smile and said, "Aunt Zhou, tell me, why did you deliberately avoid us before, but now you're willing to come and see us?"
Zhou Quan nodded lightly, then personally poured tea for Zhou the matchmaker, and then poured tea for Li Mai and himself.
Matchmaker Zhou said apologetically, "I didn't deliberately avoid you before, I just happened to have something else to do and we missed each other."

Matchmaker Zhou could only avoid them. She was not good at lying, and if she met them and was asked what she would say, what would she say?
Upon hearing this answer, Li Mai smiled faintly, glanced at her, said nothing, and quietly drank her tea.
After putting down her teacup, she said with a smile, "Auntie, have some tea!"
Matchmaker Zhou reached for the teacup, but suddenly found that she couldn't lift it; it seemed to be stuck to the table.
Zhou Quan raised an eyebrow, glanced at Li Mai, smiled indulgently, stood up, reached out to help Zhou the Matchmaker pick up the teacup, and handed it to her. "Auntie, please have some tea. Xiao Mai and I were able to become husband and wife thanks to your help in running around. This cup of tea is for you!"
