Li Mai smiled and said, "I know, it's my fault. I was just too sleepy. Sorry for taking half of your pillow."
Zhou Quan: Is this about taking half a pillow?
But Li Mai didn't seem to want to slap himself; he was secretly happy.
"Um, could you let go of my waist? We should get up," Li Mai said softly.
Zhou Quan was stunned. He looked down and realized that one of his hands was gripping the blanket tightly against her waist.
Cough cough!
He quickly withdrew his hand and whispered an apology.
Li Mai, now free, sat up, slid out of his blankets, moved back a bit, and suddenly turned around, asking fiercely, "Were you constantly covering me with the blankets last night?"
Zhou Quan chuckled at her fierce yet adorable expression, nodded, and said, "After you fall asleep, you like to kick off the blankets, so I have to keep covering you up, afraid that you'll catch a cold."
Li Mai stared speechlessly at the ceiling. "I kicked off the blanket because I was hot. It's the hottest time of the year, and you're covering me with such a thick quilt. I told you that in my dream I was so hot I couldn't find a cool place. I just found one, and then I was unbearably hot again."
"Huh?" This time it was Zhou Quan's turn to be dumbfounded.

He was careless.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were hot. I just thought you liked to kick off the covers." Zhou Quan looked like he had done something wrong.
Seeing him looking like a child who had done something wrong, Li Mai smiled helplessly, then leaned back and pinched his cheek. "No need to apologize, I know you care about me, thank you."
"Get dressed. After we wash up, we'll head to town." Thinking about making money again today, Li Mai happily jumped off the bed, got dressed, and prepared to empty the water from the bathtub first.
"Don't pour it, let Xiaolin and Xiaolei pour it!" Zhou Quan said, stopping her.
"All right!"
Li Mai didn't hesitate and brought him a set of dark blue outer robes that she had left on the cabinet last night, ready to help him get dressed.
“I can do it myself. You can help me tie my belt in a bit.” After saying that, Zhou Quan turned around, but her ears were a little red.
He remembered that he often saw his mother helping his father tie his belt when he was about to go out, and he found that scene very heartwarming.
He also longed for his wife to help him fasten his belt.
