"When it comes to shamelessness, you're the real master. My skills are just child's play. Hahaha... For the past fifty years, I've been staying inside my inner core, waiting for my chance."
The fish maiden's voice echoed eerily in the fish restaurant, her words carrying a sinister undertone like a venomous snake lurking in the shadows, ready to strike at any moment.
"Alright, enough nonsense. I helped you get reborn, so don't you think you should repay me?" Ma Linghua's eyes were as sharp as a hawk's, staring intently at the fish girl.
"Repay you? If it weren't for you, I would have saved Du Lang's life back then. I hate you, I wish you were dead."
The fish girl's emotions instantly surged, her eyes seemed to burn with anger, her body trembled slightly, and her tail slapped the ground, creating splashes of water that reflected a cold light in the dim light.
"Hmph! A demon is a demon, how can it distinguish between good and evil? It's all caused by greed. You say it's for your beloved, but frankly, you just want to use him as a furnace for your cultivation."
Ma Linghua coldly ripped away the last fig leaf from Yu Niang.
Her words were like a sharp scalpel, precisely dissecting the cruel truth.
The air in the fish restaurant seemed to freeze. This cold and ruthless truth, like a biting wind, swept through every corner, exposing all hypocrisy.
Yu Niang's face turned deathly pale, and a hint of panic flashed in her eyes, but it was quickly overshadowed by hatred. She opened her mouth, wanting to retort, but couldn't find the right words. She could only glare fiercely at Ma Linghua, her eyes seeming to want to tear the other woman to pieces.
Ma Linghua, however, remained calm and unmoved.
"What are you looking at? My mother is right. You shameless woman. How can you trust a man?" Ma Hehua said with a disdainful look, her arms crossed and her eyes full of contempt for Yu Niang.
"What do you know? We demons have been exploited time and time again. If we don't want to develop our own methods, when will we ever achieve enlightenment?" The fish girl glared angrily and retorted loudly.
"Fine! I won't say anything else. You stole my things, and you've returned them."
As soon as Ma Linghua finished speaking, Yu Niang's eyes lit up instantly, her gaze fixed on Ma Linghua's neck like a hungry wolf.
"Are you talking about your blood? I must say, your blood is very useful. If you could exchange your blood for mine..." The fish girl's face was full of madness, her eyes seeming to see a shortcut to the peak of cultivation.
"You beast, prepare to die!" Ma Hehua roared, no longer able to contain her anger. This ignorant fish girl dared to plot against her mother; she truly didn't know the immensity of heaven and earth.
"You don't even know if my big sword will agree!" she said, her face full of displeasure.
"Ice spikes, go!" Fish Girl was not to be outdone. With an angry shout, ice spikes hurtled towards Ma Hehua.
Ma Hehua's lips curled up slightly, a sly glint in her eyes: "Thunderbolt, Golden Shield." A dazzling bolt of lightning shot towards the fish girl, and a shield radiating golden light instantly appeared, blocking the ridiculously large ice spike.
"Snap!"
The ice spikes shattered on the ground, and the fish girl hurriedly dodged them, but the ground was covered in water, and the lightning still shocked her.
"Hehe! You old shrew, you didn't expect that, did you! Water conducts electricity."
Ma Hehua looked at Yu Niang with a malicious expression, her eyes full of smugness.
Fish Girl's lips twitched, cursing the shamelessness in her heart, but she was helpless against this sudden situation and could only feel annoyed and prepare for the next round of battle.
“Lin Bing Dou Zhe Jie Zhen Lie Zai Qian, Shu.”
Ma Linghua muttered incantations and suddenly launched a surprise attack.
As she chanted her incantation, a mysterious force, like a rope, coiled around the fish girl.
Caught completely off guard, the fish girl was instantly bound by this force, her once lively fish tail now immobilized and unable to move at all.
“You humans are shameless, especially you, Ma Linghua. I helped you before, and you are so ungrateful.”
Fish Girl roared angrily, her eyes filled with resentment and hatred, as if she wanted to tear Ma Linghua and her daughter to pieces.
"Why fight one-on-one when you can gang up on someone?" Ma Linghua said calmly, completely unconcerned about Yu Niang's insults.
In her view, any means are acceptable as long as the monster can be subdued.
"That's right, you're really stupid!" Ma Hehua chimed in from the side, her face showing an expression as if she were looking at an idiot.
Her bright eyes gleamed with mockery, while the bound fish girl struggled in anger, unable to break free from the shackles of that mysterious power.
"Hmph! Help me? Don't even mention it, it makes me feel cheap. That Du Lang tried to force himself on me while I was practicing, and you took the opportunity to steal my blood, then knocked that man unconscious and ran away. Is this what you call helping me?"
This fish demon somehow learned of the special uses of her blood.
In fact, the so-called meeting with Yu Niang was nothing more than a scheme by Ma Linghua.
I just remembered this while I was in Kyoto.
To her surprise, the fish maiden seemed to have foreseen her arrival and thus created another opportunity for survival.

She believed in revenge, and showed no mercy to demons.
At this moment, she was like a ruthless executioner, with no pity in her eyes.
In her eyes, the fish girl was nothing more than an object that needed to be eliminated; no matter what tragic past this demon had, it was none of her business.
