She screamed and threw the person in her arms away. She was trembling with fear, then pushed open the door and ran away.
The muddy path was desolate everywhere. After running for a while, I arrived at the lake in the mountains.
She sat on the ground, slowly calming herself down. When she looked up, the scene before her shocked her.
A luminous, frozen lake, surrounded by icy air, with mist floating on its surface, resembles a fairyland, and a large moon hangs on its surface.
She stared intently until a figure appeared on the lake. Her jet-black hair fluttered in the water, and she had a clean and pure appearance with a pair of large eyes looking at her.
She reached out her hand, as if beckoning Shumali. Shumali approached her step by step, the icy lake water in the river reaching up to her waist. Suddenly, at that moment, the girl screamed in pain.
"Run, little grass... run, run, don't come back, run, don't look back, run..."
The heart-wrenching sound jolted Shumali awake. She sat up again, her body ice-cold, the piercing sensation still lingering.
She felt a sharp pain in her hand, looked down, and saw the white tape. That's right, she was in the school clinic!
"You're awake? Are you feeling better? It's almost afternoon, you should go back to your dorm and get some rest! Oh, by the way, I prescribed some medicine for you." Dr. Wu brought her back to her senses.
"Okay, thank you, Dr. Wu." She walked out of the clinic in a daze. The afternoon sun hadn't set yet and was still a bit harsh, but she felt incredibly warm, her whole body filled with warmth.
