Chi Yuanyuan squeezed her eyes shut, barely managing to suppress her anger. Her voice turned cold: "Uncle Qin, I respect you as Mu Yuan's father and do not wish to offend you, but you want me to apologize to her," she pointed to Qin Sheng, "a girl of unknown origin? I'm sorry, I cannot do that!"
"Besides, my purpose in coming here today is to ask Master Hua to treat Brother Muyuan's injuries. As Brother Muyuan's father, I think you should want to see Brother Muyuan recover as soon as possible more than anyone else, right?"
"Are you really going to waste your time on some random girl and delay Brother Muyuan's best treatment time?"
The last sentence carried a subtle threat, and Qin Zheng's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Origin unknown, inexplicable..." Qin Zheng repeated these two words, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes. Just as he was about to speak, a cool hand grabbed him.
Qin Sheng said calmly, "Save them first."
Meeting the girl's calm gaze, Qin Zheng's anger gradually subsided. He took a deep breath and looked directly past Chi Yuanyuan at Hua Zhen at the door: "Master Hua, thank you for your help."
Hua Zhen's gaze swept over Chi Yuanyuan and Qin Zheng, then paused and nodded, "Mr. Qin, you're too kind."
After saying that, he went into the room.
Chi Yuanyuan's face turned even uglier.
She opened her mouth as if to say something, but when she met Qin Zheng's cold and sharp gaze, and glanced at Qin Muyuan on the bed whose face was becoming increasingly pale, she pursed her red lips and held back.
Upon seeing Qin Muyuan's condition, Hua Zhen's usually calm expression finally changed: "How long has he been like this?"
Xu Chi knew this best and immediately stepped forward to answer.
“It’s been a day and a night since the injury. At first, the bleeding had stopped and the wound was showing signs of healing, but for some reason, it suddenly started bleeding again, and even showed symptoms of intermittent vomiting blood and convulsions. It’s been two hours and forty-eight minutes,” Xu Chi glanced at the time.
Hua Zhen frowned even more. After thinking for a moment, she first lifted Qin Muyuan's clothes to take a look at the wound.
It was a knife wound, on the left side of his abdomen, about ten centimeters long. It had been stitched up, but bright red blood was still flowing out continuously. The speed was not particularly fast, but it was flowing steadily. Nearly three hours had passed, and it had completely stained Qin Muyuan's clothes and the sheets beneath him.
Hua Zhen's expression grew increasingly grim. She then examined Qin Muyuan's face, pupils, and pulse before finally withdrawing her hand.
Xu Chi and the others couldn't help but ask immediately, "How is it?"
Hua Zhen pondered for a moment, then shook his head slightly: "The cause cannot be determined from the pulse."
Everyone's expression suddenly changed: "Even you can't do anything about it?"
No, that's not it.
“His biggest problem right now is that he can’t stop the bleeding. As long as we can stop the bleeding, we can figure out the other problems later. I have a set of acupuncture techniques that are very effective at stopping bleeding. We can try it first,” Hua Zhen said.
Everyone breathed a slight sigh of relief; at least there was a solution.
Before they could even catch their breath, Hua Zhen said "but" again, and everyone's hearts jumped again.
Hua Zhen's gaze swept around the room before finally landing on Qin Sheng: "Were you taking Chief Qin's pulse just now? You know traditional Chinese medicine?"
Qin Sheng was actually getting a little annoyed.
We don't know how skilled this person is, but he's really slow. The consultation alone has already taken almost ten minutes. If it drags on any longer, her brother will bleed to death before his injuries even worsen.
But Qin Sheng knew very well that given her age, even if she said she was confident she could heal her older brother's injuries, the people in the room wouldn't trust her with him. A conflict would only make things more complicated.
Therefore, she could only suppress her impatience and hum in response.
Hua Zhen breathed a slight sigh of relief and continued to ask, "Can you find the acupoints on the human body?"
Qin Sheng hummed in agreement again.
Before he could ask any more questions, she directly pressed several acupoints and said, "Zhongji, Guanyuan, Shuifen, Tianshu."
Hua Zhen was startled.
It wasn't because he was certain that Qin Sheng could actually find the acupoints, but because the acupoints she pressed happened to be the very ones he was going to use for acupuncture later.
A thoughtful look flashed across Hua Zhen's eyes. Without asking any further questions, she took out a set of silver needles from her medicine box and said, "You'll assist me. Just tell me the acupoints you mentioned earlier, and you'll insert the needles immediately."
Facing the surprised or worried looks of the crowd, Hua Zhen explained, "My hemostatic acupuncture technique is extremely complex and requires a particularly high speed of acupuncture. It is difficult for me to complete it within the allotted time by myself alone, so I need someone to assist me."
He paused for a moment, then continued, "Or you could find someone else here who understands traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture."
Those who had initially wanted to object immediately shut their mouths.
They are a secret unit, and everything is done according to the military's configuration. If they need Western doctors, they can immediately find ten or eight to come over, but they really don't have any traditional Chinese medicine doctors.
The doctors in the army had all examined Qin Muyuan's condition, but none of them could do anything. Now, finally, Hua Shengshou, who might be able to help, arrived. They had no choice but to treat him as a last resort.
Qin Zheng spoke first: "Master Hua, just go ahead and do it."
Then he looked at Qin Sheng: "Sheng Sheng..."
Qin Sheng nodded to him: "Don't worry."
For some reason, Qin Zheng suddenly felt relieved. He nodded, signaling everyone to step back and not disturb the two people performing acupuncture.
Everyone else did as instructed, except for Chi Yuanyuan.
