Does love have a spirit?

Does love have a spirit?

Lin Yueyao finally understood why Rong Yan was avoiding her.

It was on a leisurely afternoon when I was taking a stroll and gradually felt tired.

Back in my room, as I was preparing for my afternoon nap, the door to my sleeping quarters was opened.

Apart from Rong Yan, no one else has been allowed to enter her room without permission.

Lin Yueyao raised an eyebrow, "I haven't seen such a bold person in a long time."

The newcomer was a woman with pure and innocent features, dressed in a striking red outfit, exuding a dashing and heroic aura.

When the woman saw her, her eyes became excited, and she was unable to speak.

He stepped forward and hugged her tightly, as if she were a lost treasure that had been found again, whispering something in gratitude.

Lin Yueyao felt confused. Seeing that she had no reaction, the woman took her hand and placed it on her head.

Her spirit sword, Wenqing, is intelligent and perceptive, just like a child, and she loves it when Lin Yueyao pats it.

But if you make a mistake, she'll scold you.

As they pulled and tugged, some spiritual energy began to flow through the blocked spiritual veins.

"Are you asking about love?"

Wen Qing nodded vigorously and hugged her again, "Master."

Lin Yueyao was embraced tightly, the embrace was comfortable, and she put her hands on Wen Qing's shoulders.

As far as she knew, Wen Qingli still needed some time to cultivate into human form, so why did he suddenly transform into human form?

Wen Qing explained to her with a radiant expression, "It was Rong Yan who found a way to make both me and Ku Bei take human form."

"Did you cry when you saw it?" Lin Yueyao asked her.

Wen Qing shook his head and said, "Why has the spiritual power in Master's body disappeared?"

No wonder she didn't sense her master's presence. If Rong Yan hadn't told her, she would have thought her master was gone.

"It's a long story." Lin Yueyao didn't intend to explain. Wenqing was her sword, and the person she valued most. So she asked, "Do you have a way to untie it?"

"I'll give it a try." Wenqing cast a spell and formed hand seals, even mimicking her movements in releasing spiritual power.

Like master, like servant; Lin Yueyao felt a deep sense of gratitude.

When Wenqing tried to break the seal, his spiritual power was repelled with a bang when it touched the wrist bone shrouded in black mist.

Wenqing, suffering a backlash from the seal, spat out a mouthful of blood and staggered backward.

"Wenqing?!" Lin Yueyao helped Wenqing up, and Wenqing steadied himself. "This formation is truly powerful."

Something occurred to her, and she suddenly asked, "Was it Rong Yan who did it?"

Lin Yueyao remained silent.

She knew it. Filled with rage, Wen Qing was determined to get justice for her, shouting, "How could he be so insolent?!"

“His master is his senior sister. What he’s doing is blatant insubordination.”

Unbeknownst to Wen Qing, even more outrageous things had been done.

Lin Yueyao didn't care about these things; she was more interested in whether the seal could still be opened.

"This formation is a bit tricky and will take some time," Wenqing comforted her. "Don't worry, Master, I will definitely find a way to open it for you."

"Then I'll leave it to you."

However, Wenqing had no clue, and the only solution she could think of was to find someone.

The Six Palaces were empty, and all the officials had left the court.

Asking about love, they weaved through the crowd, stopping those who were about to leave, weeping and grieving.

After Ku Bei transformed into human form, she became Rong Yan's most trusted personal guard, always by his side. Over time, Xue Yi Can was neglected.

“I’m looking for you,” Wen Qing said directly.

Ku Bei glanced at Rong Yan, and after exchanging a look with him, she was tacitly allowed to leave.

He obediently followed Wenqing to a deserted palace chamber. Wenqing cut to the chase, "Do you know how to remove the seal on your master?"

The weeping one couldn't understand what she was saying. "What seal?"

"Master's spiritual power has been sealed. This is the work of your master. What do you suggest we do about it?" Wenqing raised an eyebrow and asked.

The spirit sword, having been with its master for a long time, has even influenced his temperament through constant exposure.

"Then should I ask my master to untie me?" After thinking for a while, this was the only method I could think of.

"Do you think he'll listen to you?" Wen Qing lost her temper and turned to leave.

"Don't go—" His heart tightened, and he called out to her, "You came to find me because of this?"

Mu Ran turned around and gave Wen Qing a speechless look.

"I've been thinking about you these past few days. You were very beautiful when we first met." Ku Bei avoided eye contact, her cheeks slightly flushed.

His silly and goofy appearance does indeed resemble Rong Yan somewhat.

"Are you done talking?" Wen Qing remained unmoved and walked away in a flash.

"Wenqing—" He was walking too fast and couldn't catch up, so he called out as he chased after him, "Will we ever meet again?"

"We'll talk about it when you come up with a solution." Wen Qing walked away, shrinking to the size of a pebble, leaving behind a dashing silhouette.

"Your Excellency, it's getting late, please make your arrangements as soon as possible."

Yunxiu saw that he had been busy all day, and had personally dealt with a batch of demonic beasts at the border. He couldn't even take a break now.

Out of necessity, Yun Shang escaped, which led to the fall of the Heavenly Prison. Most of the escaped demon beasts were desperate fugitives.

Their escape abroad not only endangers the demon race but may also cause chaos.

Rong Yan personally led his troops, along with Princes Yun Liu and Yun Que, to capture all the escaped demonic beasts.

Wherever he could reach, Rong Yan cleared away obstacles without hesitation, governed the land, and restored peace to the people.

"Auntie, you should go to bed early too."

Since Rong Yan took control of most of the real power, he no longer had any affection for his aunt.

Although Yunxiu dared not offend him, Rong Yan knew that she was using the guise of concern to test Rong Yan's intentions.

He didn't know what she was thinking, but he was sure she had ill intentions.

In this world, apart from the deceased Master Xuantong, the only person he could trust was Lin Yueyao.

Yunxiu was turned away, bowed slightly, and left with her maid.

After everyone left, he strolled out of the Six Void Palace, where candles were lit and bright starlight shone everywhere.

In the vast palace, the only source of light was the place he longed for most.

I wonder if my senior sister is asleep at this time.

He hadn't seen her for several days.

He knew that Yunxiu had sent someone to check his senior sister's pulse; the meaning was self-evident.

"Give the order that no one is to disturb Senior Sister. Anyone who dares to disturb her peace will have their head chopped off."

Hearing this, the person behind him secretly made a note of it, "Is that princess among them?"

Rong Yan gave him a sharp look, and he understood immediately and went to do it.

This restricts other people's movements, so Benben can't go play with the Moon Fairy anymore.

However, this did not stop Lin Yueyao from traveling. She could freely enter and leave the palace, and could go anywhere except to avoid seeing Yunxiu.

Wen Qing's identity is extraordinary, so he can stay by her side.

However, they still haven't figured out a way to break the seal, but Ku Bei has assured her that he is trying his best to find a solution.

Yunxiu knew that it was Rong Yan's intention to not see Lin Yueyao. Although she was dissatisfied, she could not say anything openly.

"Why doesn't Your Highness choose some beautiful women from among the tribes? Our Lord is young and full of vigor," suggested a maidservant beside her.

Yunxiu shook her head; she had never thought of it that way from beginning to end.

Although the demon race is an alien race, the good sons of the Yun family are all loyal and devoted.

My father only had my mother as his wife throughout his life. My eldest brother was devoted to one person. Although my second and third brothers were betrothed since childhood, they never kept concubines.

Given Rong Yan's feelings for Lin Yueyao, there was really no other way to change Rong Yan's mindset for the time being.

"His Majesty is virtuous and self-disciplined, but for the demon race, it's hard to say whether that's a good thing or a bad thing," the maid sighed.

“What can I do? His Majesty doesn’t even listen to me.” Yunxiu sighed deeply. “He only cares about his senior sister and has never thought about having children.”

“Your Highness is mistaken,” the maid suddenly said.

"Then tell me where you went wrong?" Yunxiu retorted.

The maid was not afraid of her reproach, "Princess, think about what the late king said. Is the rise and fall of the demon race more important, or His Majesty's offspring? Princess, you must not let down the late king's good intentions."

"If the late king were alive, and knew that he had been unjustly killed and mistreated, he would not rest in peace!"

"Shut up!!!" Yunxiu slapped her. The maid covered her face after being hit and dared not talk nonsense anymore.

Yunxiu trembled with anger, yet what she said made perfect sense. Even a servant could understand this, but she still couldn't grasp it.

My father is getting senile; the throne cannot be held solely by my eldest brother's son.

Anyone can become the king of the Ten Thousand Demons Sect as long as they can revive the great cause of the demon race.

After thinking it over, Yunxiu had already come up with a solution.

“You’re right. My father longed for the day when the demon race could return to its former glory until his death. As his son, I will serve him.”

"Has the princess come up with a plan?"

Yunxiu had a cryptic smile on her face.

When Blood-Clad Silkworm was summoned, she was playing in the sand with Stupid at the border.

"Look, I've built a huge pile of people." Benben played in the sand so much that his fingernails were worn down.

"Who are these people?" Blood-Clad Silkworm sat down and asked, pointing to the messy mounds of dirt on the ground.

Benben pointed to the four dots on the ground, "These are the Moon Fairy and Master, and these are you and me."

The blood-clothed silkworm looked at itself from all angles, but couldn't see any difference; it just looked like a ball of dung.

Benben knew he couldn't understand, so he kindly explained, "This one is a bit thin; it's the Moon Fairy. The master is quite tall, while this one is more robust."

"That's me, all furry."

"And what about me?" Blood-Clad Silkworm pointed to himself.

"You have no taste, so you're the ugliest one."

"Fine," Blood-Clad Silkworm said, unable to refute. He glanced at the small mounds of earth next to the four points and asked again, "And what are these?"

"You can't even tell?" Benben stared in disbelief, then said angrily, "Of course it's a grave! This is the grave of the Moon Fairy, this is the grave of my master, and this is the grave of you and mine."

Blood-Clad Silkworm's lips twitched, choked and speechless.

At this moment, the guard approached the two and said to Blood-Clad Silkworm, "Her Highness the Princess wishes to see you."

Blood-Clad Silkworm asked tactfully, "What business does Your Highness have with me?"

"Just go see him if I tell you to. Stop with all this nonsense." The guard sounded impatient.

At this point, Blood-Clad Silkworm gradually realized that something was wrong; Yunxiu's approach to him must have been ill-intentioned.

But he couldn't refuse openly. Just as he was thinking of a solution, Benben got up from the ground.

"Is it that pretty lady?"

Benben has seen Yunxiu before and knows what she looks like.

Blood-Clad Silkworm dared not speak, and when the guards saw that he was unmoved, they shoved him.

Benben shouted excitedly, "I like pretty older sisters the most!"
