Benben kept whining and wanted to go with him.

Having exhausted all other options, Blood-Clad Silkworm accompanied the guards to Yunxiu's palace.

His guards told him to wait in the inner hall, which was separated by a screen door and decorated with beaded curtains and moon-shaped canopies.

Before long, Yunxiu got up and, with the help of her maid, went to sit in the inner hall.

Before Yunxiu could speak, Xueyican stood on the side, not daring to sit down without permission.

Benben was playing on the ground outside the enclosure, accompanied by a maid, playing a game of folding paper figures.

"Your name is Blood-Clad Silkworm," Yunxiu said slowly, her eyes wide and alert.

"Your Highness," Blood-Clad Silkworm bowed respectfully.

"I called you here because there are some things I want to ask you."

Blood-Clad Silkworm listened silently, wondering what she would ask next.

"Your Excellency's senior sister, do you know that True Monarch Qinglian?"

He remained silent, but upon hearing the rustling sound of paper figures being folded outside, Benben cheered with joy.

Distracted, he quickly regained his senses and said, "I don't know him. True Lord Qinglian is a member of the immortal sect and has a great reputation. I am just a lowly demon and have only heard of him briefly."

Since she couldn't get an answer from him, Yunxiu changed her story.

"Why did you, Fairy Qinglian, venture deep into the heart of the demon realm to follow His Majesty?"

He knew, but he knew in his heart whether or not some things should be said.

Just as Blood-Clad Silkworm gritted her teeth, Yunxiu looked into the distance and her gaze fell on the figure behind the partition.

“This beast is your friend, isn’t it?” Yunxiu pondered. “If you tell the truth, naturally no one will dare to make things difficult for him.”

"But if you refuse to tell the truth, I can't say what might happen."

The Demon Palace is fraught with danger, and there is also Yun Que, a demon who likes to kill people everywhere.

That silly girl, Benben, sacrificed herself to save Wen Weijun.

Who knows when he might lose his life again?

They followed him around all day, calling him "Crown Prince Brother."

It would be a lie to say he wasn't worried; in his heart, Benben was more important than his friends.

Yunxiu threatened again, "His life is entirely in your hands."

"Isn't Your Highness afraid of being blamed by Lord Wenwei?" Even a rabbit will bite when cornered. Compared to the aggressive Yunxiu, Xueyi Can thought of bringing up Lord Wenwei as a savior.

Yunxiu smiled instead of getting angry, her eyes filled with a gentle breeze, "Your Majesty and I are connected by blood, how could you possibly make trouble for me for the sake of a beast?"

"You're too naive."

Blood-Clad Silkworm gritted her teeth, her clenched fist unable to loosen, and silently apologized to Wen Weijun.

He told the truth and revealed everything that had happened.

"I know that's all."

Having unintentionally betrayed Wen Weijun, Xueyi Can was filled with regret and left the inner hall.

When Benben saw him pass by, she shook off the little paper doll that was dancing on her leg and chased after him.

"Brother Crown Prince, wait for me—"

She skipped and hopped out the door, took the hand of the Blood-Clad Silkworm, and touched its icy coldness.

"Brother Crown Prince, what's wrong? Your hands are all sweaty."

Blood-Clad Silkworm's face was pale and her mind was filled with sorrow. She forced a smile and explained, "It's nothing, I'm just a little cold."

"Are you alright?" Benben asked worriedly.

He shook his head, pulled Benben along, and walked away until they were far from Yunxiu's palace.

Benben had been playing outside for a long time, and since he couldn't understand what they were saying, he asked curiously, "Brother Prince, what did you and that pretty sister talk about?"

"They didn't say anything, just that you're restless and always causing trouble."

Benben was startled and froze on the spot. "What else?"

“She said if there’s a next time, she’ll arrest you,” Blood-Clad Silkworm Hu Chan threatened him.

Benben was truly terrified and said in a panic, "Don't arrest me, I'll never cause trouble again."

Blood-Clad Silkworm nodded with satisfaction, "Good to know. Remember, this woman is not simple. Stay far away from her."

"Why?" The innocent and naive girl didn't understand what he meant.

"There's no reason why, just remember what I said."

The resurrected and reborn Benben retains the mindset of his youth, and is even younger than before.

At this stage, Benben is innocent and naive, believing everything others say.

You might accidentally fall into a pit.

Thus, the Blood-Clad Silkworm could only do its best to protect him.

"I remember." Benben nodded vigorously, tightened her grip on his hand, and silently repeated it several times.

After extracting the truth from the Blood-Clad Silkworm, Yunxiu met with Rong Yan the following night.

After the morning assembly, the officials dispersed.

Outside the Six Void Palace, figures thronged, meeting face to face.

The tribal leaders and officials greeted Yunxiu, one of whom was the leader of the Ni beast tribe.

Among the trials of the Hundred Schools, the Lion Beast Tribe suffered the most heavy losses. Its leader was heartbroken and repeatedly urged Rong Yan to send troops to attack the Immortal Sect.

But the current ruler is indifferent and has no intention of launching a military campaign against them.

Yunxiu gradually found herself unable to gain a favorable response from the leader.

"If Your Highness wishes to see His Majesty, please do so on another day."

The minister tried to dissuade her, but Yunxiu was puzzled. "What's wrong?"

"His Majesty is furious at the court assembly today. Your Highness should refrain from provoking him at this time, lest you displease him."

"But what happened?" Yunxiu asked.

The minister explained the whole story in detail, and after listening, Yunxiu stepped into the gate of the Six Void Palace.

Originally, it was because of Lin Yueyao that the sects, led by the Misty Sect, ordered the Myriad Demons Sect to release Lin Yueyao.

Otherwise, if the major sects joined forces to attack the Ten Thousand Demon Sect, it would be another bloody battle.

Rong Yan was furious upon hearing this, slammed his fist on the table and stood up, declaring that he would not hand over the person, nor would he accept the challenge.

This move sparked discontent among dozens of tribal leaders.

It's important to know how many troops were mobilized to help the old demon king find the whereabouts of the current ruler.

While the immortal sects suffered heavy losses, the demon race also lost many people.

With both sides locked in a stalemate, Rong Yan would never send troops.

Yunxiu entered the main hall, and Rongyan sat on the throne.

"Your Majesty, I have already heard about what happened earlier."

Rong Yan looked up at her, his deep gaze resembling that of an old demon king reborn.

Yunxiu felt a deep sense of melancholy.

He did not respond, so Yunxiu had to say again: "Qinglian Zhenjun is the Venerable One's person, how can the Immortal Sect go there at will?"

“She is my senior sister,” Rong Yan repeated coldly.

No matter what happened between them, Lin Yueyao will always be his most respected senior sister.

"Your Excellency is right. Since she is Your Excellency's senior sister, she is an honored guest of the Demon Palace." Yunxiu chuckled.

What are you trying to say?

Stared at by the cold gaze, Yunxiu felt her breath catch in her throat and her whole body felt as cold as an ice cellar.

She secretly observed his reaction and was certain that he was in a state of unease, so she added, "Your Excellency, the Immortal Sect is courting death."

"The Immortal Sect knows how important True Lord Qinglian is to Your Excellency, yet they are not only threatening people, but even going so far as to seize the immortal bones of True Lord Qinglian's master in order to blackmail others."

"Who told you all this?" Rong Yan asked her, squinting.

Yunxiu shuddered and hastily knelt down. "Your Majesty, I have no other intentions. I am only thinking of Your Majesty's best interests."

“The immortal sects are all treacherous and cunning, full of tricks. It is precisely because of the remains of True Man Xuantong that they are constantly hampered. Even True Man Qinglian cannot open his heart to the Venerable One.”

Rong Yan's expression gradually changed, and his gaze became dark and unpredictable.

"you're right."

Yunxiu then stirred things up, rising gracefully, "That's precisely why Your Excellency must not fall for the schemes and tricks of the immortal sects."

"What do you think I should do?" Rong Yan asked her with a gloomy face.

She smiled and said, "We will storm the immortal sects, reclaim the immortal bones, and use this to resolve the feud between the Venerable One and True Monarch Qinglian. Then, we will take advantage of their unpreparedness to attack the territories of the various immortal sects and reclaim our homeland."

This was exactly what Rong Yan wanted. At this moment, Rong Yan's dark side erupted, and he slowly stood up.

The next moment, he disappeared from Yunxiu's sight.

A dark figure sped out of the Demon Palace.

She thought her words wouldn't work, but she didn't expect Rong Yan to break out so quickly.

Yunxiu was secretly pleased, but still couldn't rest easy, so she immediately summoned her guards.

"Send the order to summon all generals to assemble at the border."

The guards hesitated. After all, Yunxiu had been stripped of her real power by Rong Yan, and the sudden mobilization of so many troops without a warrant was unacceptable.

Without even hearing the password, the guards dared not proclaim the decree and stood frozen in place.

Yunxiu retorted, "You dare disobey me?"

"I'm just asking you to mobilize troops, you won't do anything. Do you want me to alarm my third brother?"

Yun Que's prestige was known to all, and everyone feared him. The guards dared not delay any longer and relayed the message down the chain of command.

The Demon Palace trembled violently. Wenqing leaned against the window, sticking her head out.

"There are so many people outside." Wen Qing craned his neck to look out.

"What's wrong?"

Lin Yueyao sat cross-legged on the bed, her hands forming a mudra, trying to break the seal, but her efforts were in vain.

Seeing Wenqing leaning against the window, they pulled her down.

"What did you see?"

As he spoke, he glanced sideways and said, "There are many soldiers."

"Soldier," Lin Yueyao asked suspiciously, "what are you trying to do?"

"Wearing armor and carrying a sword, they look like they're going to war," Wen Qing said out of the blue.

War? Who are they going to fight? Lin Yueyao rushed out of the room and grabbed a maid, "Where is Rong Yan?"

The maid knelt down in fear and begged for forgiveness, saying, "This servant does not know where Your Excellency has gone. Please forgive me, Your Excellency."

Lin Yueyao had a bad feeling. The Demon Palace had suddenly mobilized so many troops, and Rong Yan had disappeared again.

Thinking of this, she rushed to the Six Void Palace, even Rong Yan's bedroom, but didn't see anyone.

"Master, don't panic, calm down first." Wen Qing found her in a panic.

She searched the entire Demon Palace, but eventually collapsed from exhaustion. Wenqing quickly caught her.

Lin Yueyao was filled with deep unease.

"It shouldn't be the Misty Sect," Wenqing murmured.

"Didn't you say you had a way to break the seal?" Lin Yueyao suddenly grabbed her hand, as if grasping at a last straw.

“Ku Bei is already trying to find a solution,” Wen Qing secretly scolded Ku Bei.

Little did they know that their current act of crying and pleading for leave had landed them in the hands of the high priest.

The high priestess was a sorceress with the face of a young girl, but older than the Holy Queen.

The room was a mess, with all sorts of things mixed together.

Crying and grieving, she found a place to stand and awkwardly stood in the room, explaining her purpose.

The high priest was engrossed in fiddling with something. "This isn't difficult to do."

The man, who had been weeping, was suddenly overjoyed, but the high priest's next words made him unable to laugh.

"If I manage to get it done for you, what will my payment be?"
