Cao Xueying, wearing high heels, carried a water bottle. Niu Niu nervously brought the water to Dai Donglin and said in a high-pitched voice:
"Brother, thank you for helping my mom carry her things. This is some sweet soup I poured for you, please have some."
Dai Donglin's face darkened. Cao Xueying's chest was too obvious; her shirt was almost pulled down to her buttocks. Dai Donglin couldn't stand it, so he turned his head and refused with an icy expression:
"I don't want to drink it, move aside!"
If it were a man, Dai Donglin would have already twisted her arm, stepped on her, and kicked her away.
But Cao Xueying is a woman, and she's dressed so provocatively. These days, the strict separation of men and women is no joke. She could easily be arrested and taken to the police station and charged with abusing a woman.
Dai Donglin wasn't afraid of trouble, but he didn't want to get involved in any messy situations that would embarrass his girlfriend.
Cao Xueying was embarrassed by his scolding. Although she was not a great beauty, men always treated her with great respect and she was usually pampered by men. This was the first time she had encountered a man who was so ungrateful!
Damn it, she just didn't believe it. Why would she refuse meat that's been offered to her?
Men like to have a stable home life while having affairs on the side; they enjoy having fun without taking responsibility.
As Dai Donglin was about to leave, Cao Xueying chased after him, her voice sweet and coquettish:
"Brother, I'm just thanking you out of kindness, I didn't mean anything by it. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not that kind of person."
Dai Donglin is utterly disgusting.
This wasn't the first time he'd encountered something like this. He'd also met women at drinking parties in Hong Kong who wanted to take the initiative, but he ignored them all. Cao Xueying tried to pounce on him and hug his waist.
She understands men well; she knows that once a man has gained something, he's unlikely to give up the prize he's already got.
But Dai Donglin had anticipated her prediction. He suddenly turned around, and Cao Xueying lost her balance, twisted her ankle, and fell flat on her face.
Dai Donglin deliberately knocked over the pickled vegetable jar on the table. The freshly pickled vegetables in the jar released water, and both the thin and thick portions spilled out all at once, landing on Cao Xueying without leaving a single drop.
This is spicy pickled vegetable made by Aunt Cao. It has been pickled for more than a month and the pickled vegetables are already very flavorful. As a result, Cao Xueying not only has pickled vegetables hanging on her head, but also a whole vat of chili water.
The chili water got into her eyes, making her jump three feet high from the spiciness.
"Aa ...
Cao Xueying screamed frantically, hoping that Dai Donglin would have a change of heart, wipe her eyes clean, and take her to the tap to rinse them. She hoped that Cao Xueying could forgive him and continue to be his mistress without any official status, helping him to keep it a secret from Chu Yu, his official girlfriend.
Dai Donglin merely glanced at her coldly and stepped across the threshold without expression.
Before leaving, he even kindly swept the door for her, leaving Cao Xueying hiding in the house, crying out to heaven and earth in vain.
Cao Xueying couldn't wash her face or eyes, and screamed in pain. The pitiful screams disgusted Aunt Cao.
"This young man is in pretty good health. What did he do to make such a racket? Doesn't he know to keep his voice down? It would be so embarrassing if the neighbors heard him!"
Aunt Cao was so disgusted that she grabbed some cotton used for making cotton-padded clothes and stuffed it into her ears.
"Well, with my ears stuffed full, I can't hear my daughter yelling anymore. It seems the saying about stuffing donkey hair in your ears is true; it's pretty good at blocking out sound. I wonder how far they've progressed. I hope they don't make the house too disgusting later, or I'll have to wash the sheets, mop the floor, and clean the house..."
Aunt Cao muttered to herself as she made cotton-padded clothes.
She stuffed cotton in her mouth and didn't hear Dai Donglin leave, nor did she hear Cao Xueying knocking on the door. Occasionally, she heard some background noise and wondered if the two of them were having a vigorous time, since they had made the bed creak and groan.
This man is actually in pretty good health.
Aunt Cao was slowly making cotton clothes. After almost half an hour, she was still thinking of giving the young couple some space and wanted to go out for a walk before coming back. Just as she stepped into the yard, Cao Gang came in from outside, drunk.
"Who's banging on the door so loudly?"
Knocking on the door?
Aunt Cao was startled and looked sharply into the inner room, only to find that the door had been locked at some point.
Oh my god!
Aunt Cao hurriedly looked for her key to unlock the door. As soon as the door opened, the smell of pickled vegetables wafted out. Cao Xueying was lying naked in the pickled vegetable water. Perhaps because it was too cold, she found a cotton quilt and wrapped it around herself, but the quilt was also full of pickled vegetable water, and it was too cold to wrap herself in it.
She could only grab another cotton coat from the side.
Aunt Cao was stunned, staring at the pile of pickled vegetables on the ground, and said with heartache:
"Good heavens! I've been preparing for months to pickle this whole jar of vegetables, and you've ruined it all!"
Cao Xueying was furious, her swollen eyes narrowed, tears streaming down her face from the pain.
"Grandma! I'm going blind, and you're still worried about your pickled vegetables!"
Aunt Cao then looked at her, and slapped her thigh in frustration.
"You have the nerve to say that? I'm asking you, how did you get yourself into this mess? Where did all your skills go? I don't know who was bragging that there was no man she couldn't handle. They even said that as long as you locked her in a room with a man, he would never be able to escape."
Cao Xueying was already heartbroken, but Aunt Cao was rubbing salt into her wounds.
"Grandma, my eyes hurt! They hurt so much! Don't say anything else, just take me to the hospital right now. If I don't wash my eyes, they'll be ruined!"
Cao Xueying was in so much pain that she was jumping up and down on the spot. Only then did Aunt Cao reluctantly help her up and rush to the hospital.
The Cao family made quite a scene, and Cao Xueying kept shouting, attracting the attention of passing neighbors. Shu Hui also heard the commotion.
