☆307. Chapter 307 Shadow of Death

Chapter 307 Shadow of Death

Nangong: "Of course. So what? You've already experienced the goods before, and now I've personally delivered all the remaining test tubes to you. Shouldn't you also deposit the remaining balance into my account?"

Hafa: "Yes, yes, I will do it for you now."

While Hafa was transferring the money, Nangong said, "Hafa, I want to discuss something with you."

Hafa: "You talk, I'm listening!"

Nangong: "Nowadays, people like to pursue excitement to relieve stress. High-quality pure drugs are a rare commodity in my place, and the price is comparable to gold. I used to have someone in Thailand to pave the way for me, so I had a relatively sufficient supply. Later, something happened and this way of making money was cut off. Now you are almost lawless here. Are you interested in joining me in this business?"

Hafa: "I'm not bragging, the goods here are really first-class quality, good quality and low price. I was worried about not being able to find a seller, and I didn't expect you to come to me on your own initiative. Mr. Nangong is really my benefactor! I can also let you try the quality of the goods first."

After saying that, he asked Ahand to go downstairs. After a while, Ahand was holding a basin with a thin layer of white powder on it.

Hafa: "Nangong, try it. This is our newly developed soft drug. The taste and mouthfeel are first-class. You won't feel that you are taking drugs at all. But don't blame me for not warning you first. You will quickly become addicted and will never be able to quit in your life. I think it's better to let your little brother try it."

Nangong: "A rookie like him has never come into contact with this kind of thing. If he tries it, he will definitely not be able to resist the temptation and become a slave to the white devil. Let me try it!"

He put some white powder with his little finger between his teeth, then licked it with his tongue. He immediately spat on the ground and hurried to the faucet to rinse his mouth.

He began to lose control of his excitement, and his mind was filled with all kinds of illusions and thoughts.

As a last resort, in order to stay awake, he could only bite his wrist hard. The royal family of their planet could cure any poison by bleeding.

Slowly, Nangong began to regain consciousness and he returned to the hall.

Hafa was a little surprised to see him recover so quickly, but then he returned to normal.

"Mr. Nangong, are you okay?" he asked insidiously.

Nangong suppressed his chaotic thoughts and rapid heartbeat, and said with a smile: "What do you think will happen to me?"

Hafa looked a little disappointed. "Nothing, just curious. What do you think of my new drug?"

Nangong: "The concentration is too pure, and the taste is too pungent. Most people can't stand it."

Hafa laughed out loud: "Mr. Nangong is indeed not an ordinary person."

Suddenly, a group of people surrounded them and pressed Nangong and Yi Mu behind their backs.

Nangong: "Hafa, what do you mean?"

Hafa: "Mr. Nangong, I'm sorry, I didn't intend to transfer the remaining money to you. I originally wanted those drugs to make you die happily in excitement and madness, but you are so strong that you can't die. Now, I can only let you two down."

Nangong: "What do you want to do?"

Hafa: "The dead don't need to know much."

A group of people took them both to the beach.

Yi Mu: "Boss, what's going on now?"

Nangong: "You idiot, haven't you figured it out yet? The gangs are robbing the gangs, they've sold us out."

Yi Mu: "Oh my god, where do they want to sell us?"

Nangong: "Pig, you'll know in a minute!"

At this time, a small fishing boat docked towards them.

The two were tied to the bed rails.

The scorching sun and the salt in the sea breeze were constantly eroding their health. After a while, their lips began to crack, their skin turned red, and they felt a burning pain.

Nangong: "We are thirsty, can you give us some water?"

Everyone on the boat was busy with their own things and no one paid any attention to him.

Yi Mu shouted loudly: "Hey, didn't you hear me? My boss wants to drink some water!"

The people on the boat still ignored him. Yi Mu was about to scold them when Nangong looked at him.

"They don't understand your Chinese, and even if they did, they wouldn't pay any attention to us. If you don't want to die so quickly, save your energy!"

Yi Mu: "What on earth do they want to do?"

Nangong: "I just thought the worst outcome would be selling us off or killing us, but now it seems they're deliberately trying to dehydrate us to death and then use them as dried human sacrifices."

Yi Mu: "Then let's just sit there and wait for death!"

Nangong: "Do you hate me? Did I drag you into this mess?"

Yi Mu: "I don't hate you. Everything is fate and we have no control over it."

Nangong: "It's retribution! Harming others will eventually harm yourself."

As night fell and the sky was dotted with stars, they finally had a chance to breathe after a day of scorching sun.

The two men closed their eyes to rest and recuperate, when suddenly they heard footsteps on the quiet deck.

They both opened their eyes at the same time and looked in the direction of the sound.

Yi Mu: "Who else would come to the deck at this late hour?"

Nangong: "How would I know, but I guess it's definitely not a good thing."

The footsteps were getting closer and closer, and the two of them couldn't help but get nervous, their hearts beating into Sang's eyes.

Nangong breathed a sigh of relief when he suddenly saw a little girl standing in front of them.

Yi Mu: "How could it be her?"

Nangong: "Don't tell me you know her!"

Yi Mu: "I really don't know her. The other day when I went to buy cigarettes, I saw her being bullied by some hooligans, so I beat them away. But I didn't expect to see her here."

At this time, the girl picked up a knife from behind and walked straight towards Yi Mu.

Nangong said in the local dialect: "What are you doing, kid?"

Before she could finish her words, the little girl used a knife to cut the rope that bound Yi Mu.

After regaining his freedom, Yi Mu quickly snatched the knife from the girl's hand, then turned around and untied Nangong.

The two looked at each other, and Nangong said to the little girl, "Child, stay here and don't go anywhere, understand?"

The child nodded to him.

Then the two of them walked into the cabin quietly, and soon they took care of all eight people who were still asleep in the cover of night without making any noise.

The two of them dragged the corpses out of the cabin and threw them into the vast ocean to feed the fish.

The little girl saw everything and hid in a corner far away in fear.

After disposing of the body, Nangong washed his hands and knife with sea water. He glanced at the girl hiding in the corner and said, "What do you want to do with her?"

Yi Mu turned around and looked back at her.

"I will find a way to make proper arrangements. The most important issue now is how to find a way to escape and return home."

Nangong: "She might be one of the children we just killed. Although she saved us, she saw everything and there's no guarantee she won't come after us for revenge. Besides, I just checked and there's not much food and water left on the boat. Killing her will put an end to it. If you can't bring yourself to do it, let me do it."

He picked up the knife and walked slowly towards the girl.

Yi Mu quickly stopped Nangong and glared at him, "We are human beings, not animals. Can you do something humane?"
