Chapter 308 Adventure at sea
Nangong was shocked by Yi Mu's determined eyes. He hid the knife behind his back and said, "Since you have made up your mind, I can't say anything more. Just don't regret it if something happens in the future."
He waved to the little girl, and she came over happily, hugged Yi Mu's thighs tightly with both hands, and hid behind him.
Nangong took out the bread from his pocket: "Child, tell me your name and I'll give you the bread, okay?"
The child snatched the bread: "Amina."

Amina: “They are all my husbands.”

Amina: “Eleven years old.”
Nangong: "You are eleven years old? Why does your body look like..." As soon as he opened his mouth, he felt that he was talking nonsense. Amina must have been underdeveloped due to long-term malnutrition. An eleven-year-old girl looked like a six-year-old child.
Yi Mu: "What are you talking about?"
Nangong: "Nothing much, how do you plan to take care of the child in the future?"
Yi Mu: "Let's hand her over to the Red Cross to see if there's anyone who can adopt her!"
Nangong: "She is so cute and so pitiful, and she even saved our lives. Don't you plan to adopt her yourself?"

Nangong: "Damn it! Her husband hasn't even been officially confirmed dead yet! You're thinking of taking over her wife and kids so quickly? You were just saying you'd do something humane."

Nangong: "No, I just thought of my daughter in Myanmar."

They drifted on the sea for several days. Seeing that the food and fresh water on the ship were getting less and less, Nangong began to set his sights on Amina.
"Have you seen Life of Pi?" he said to Yi Mu.
Yi Mu was braiding Amina's hair. She was attached to Yi Mu like a simple child, treating him as her own father.
Yi Mu: "I've seen it, the one with Ang Lee! Why are you suddenly talking to me about this? Is it to suit the occasion?"
Seeing him like this, Nangong guessed that if he continued talking, he would definitely fight to the death with him. It’s better to keep out of trouble than to add more!

At this moment, the sound of a ship suddenly came from the distance. The two were overjoyed and quickly sent out fireworks to the sky for help.
The two were taken to a foreign cargo ship. After the captain treated them to a hearty meal, he asked them in English, "Who are you? Why are you drifting at sea?"
Nangong: "We are tourists from nearby Istanbul. We rented a fishing boat to try out fishing, but the boat ran out of gas. We are not familiar with the surrounding waterways, so we drifted here."

Captain: "We will dock at the Sansini Pier in a few days, and you can get off there!"

Three days later, the three of them finally got off the boat at Sansini Pier.

Amina followed Yi Mu closely for fear of getting lost.
The two of them took a taxi and went straight to the hotel.
After arriving, Yi Mu and Amina, who were penniless, sat in the car, while Nangong got out to ask someone for money.
Nangong told the front desk that they had encountered robbers on the way and had barely escaped. Now they had no money to pay for the taxi, so they wanted to borrow money to pay the bill.
After the front desk staff verified Nangong's identity again and again, they handed him the amount he wanted to sign without saying a word, and also helped him to apply for a new room card.
After paying the taxi fare, Yi Mu and Amina were finally able to return to the room with Nangong.
Amina had never seen such a beautiful house before, and her childish nature was aroused. She ran to Yi Mu's bed and jumped on the mattress as if it were an inflatable castle.
Yi Mu: "After suffering such a huge loss, you're just going to let that pedophile go?"
Nangong: "What else can we do? A mad dog bit you, so are you going to bite it back? We're going back to China tomorrow, so you should deal with that girl quickly."
Yi Mu: "I understand. After I take a rest, I will send her to the Red Cross."
Nangong returned to his room and slammed the door shut.
Yi Mu returned to the room, picked up Amina and wiped the sweat from her forehead.
Amina was also tired from playing and soon fell asleep in Yi Mu's arms.
He put her on the bed, covered her with a quilt, and let her have a good sleep.
An hour later, Amina woke up and she pestered Yi Mu for a hug again.
Yi Mu: "Child, you have grown up. You can't always cling to me like this."
But Amina refused to let go, and Yi Mu had no choice but to carry her out.
Yi Mu called his father and asked him to pick him up at the hotel.
Dad drove to the hotel in a hurry.
Seeing Yi Mu holding a little girl, he jokingly said, "Hey, are you planning to buy a wife here too?"
Yi Mu: "Don't talk nonsense, we just met by chance. I want to send her to the Red Cross to see if anyone can adopt her."
Dad: "Come up, I'll take you there."
