The tiny little dumpling stood at the entrance of the Su family villa, holding a large black umbrella, and craning its neck to look outside.
"Little dumpling, it's raining so hard and so late, what are you doing running to the door?" Su Xiaowu asked, chasing after her.
The little dumpling frowned, looking worriedly at the dark rain outside, and said in a soft, sweet voice, "I want to wait for big brother to come back..."
My older brother usually calls home after 8 p.m., but he didn't today.
However, before she could finish speaking, Su Xiaowu had already taken the umbrella from her hand, hoisted her small body onto his shoulder, and carried her into the house.
Caught off guard, the little boy asked, "Big brother, what are you doing?"
"You're standing in the wind and rain right now. If you catch a cold and need a shot, you'll cry again!" Su Xiaowu's tone was full of disgust. "You look awful when you cry, I don't want to see you!"
"If you're waiting for the tyrant, go back inside. I'll wait with you."
The little girl pursed her pink lips tightly, like cherry blossom petals. She was indeed very worried about her older brother, so she wanted to wait at the door, even if it was just to see him a minute earlier.
However, if waiting at the door would make the young man worry, then she should wait in the living room!
Su Xiaowu felt a pang of sadness as she watched the little dumpling waiting in the living room, occasionally running to the door to peek out.
"Little dumpling, come here, I have something to ask you." Su Xiaowu beckoned to the little dumpling and said.
The little dumpling stood at the living room doorway and glanced towards the front door. Then, she turned around and obediently ran to Su Xiaowu, raising her rosy, delicate little face. "Big brother, what do you want to ask me?"
"Ahem..." Su Xiaowu cleared her throat and asked seriously, "If I were like a tyrant and didn't come back this late, would you wait for me like this too?"
"Yes!" The little dumpling nodded its head firmly without hesitation and answered in a clear voice.
Su Xiaowu's smile instantly became more proud. "If you could only choose one between me and the tyrant, who would you choose?"
The little dumpling wrinkled its face, looking like a cute little bun, and said, "Big brother, we agreed not to ask this kind of question!"
If you ask me that kind of question again, I'll ignore you all day, hmph!
Su Xiaowu touched his nose awkwardly. It seemed that once during a meal, the other four brothers, excluding Su Yifan, had promised the little girl that they would never make her choose one of her brothers again.
Seeing the little dumpling pouting and looking angry, Su Xiaowu quickly took her little hand and admitted his mistake, "Little dumpling, it was your big brother's fault. I shouldn't have asked you such a childish question. You're so magnanimous, don't be angry with me, okay?"
The little dumpling turned to look at him, her bright eyes darting around mischievously. She put her delicate, lotus-root-like arms on her hips. "Big brother, my belly is big, so I won't be angry with you. But you did something wrong, and you have to be punished."
"Okay!" To appease his little sister, Su Xiaowu even abandoned his usual arrogance and readily agreed, "Big brother will accept the punishment. Little dumpling, you can punish me however you want!"
"It's amazing that this young man can admit his mistakes and correct them!!" The little dumpling seized the opportunity to immediately shower Su Xiaowu with compliments, "This young man is indeed a perfect 100% young man!"
The little dumpling smiled, her big, bright eyes, which seemed to hold the entire Milky Way, turning into crescent moons. "Big brother must be very tired and hungry to come back so late. Let's punish little brother by making him go and prepare something delicious for big brother!"
Su Xiaowu's face twitched. He could accept any punishment from the little dumpling, but cooking midnight snacks for the tyrant...
Even if he knew how, he would never do it!
After all, even though his relationship with the tyrant has improved slightly now, they are still irreconcilable enemies.
He wanted to cook a midnight snack for the tyrant, but the tyrant thought he was afraid of him and was trying to please him!
He was just about to coax the little dumpling into letting the servants prepare some food for the tyrant.
The little dumpling's clear, dark eyes seemed to see right through him. "Big brother, a real man keeps his word. No amount of horses can catch up with him. If you don't keep your word, you're not Ruanruan's perfect brother!"
Su Xiaowu gritted her teeth and hesitated for a moment, but ultimately decided that pleasing her younger sister was more important. "Fine, I'll make the tyrant a midnight snack!"
After saying that, he looked at the little dumpling with a troubled expression, "But what should I do if I don't know how to cook anything?"
"I'll teach you!" The little dumpling said with a hint of excitement in her voice.
Su Xiaowu had originally hoped to use this fact as an excuse to avoid this calamity, but since the little dumpling had already said so much, he had no choice but to comply.
Su Xiaowu walked into the kitchen with his head drooping, while the little dumpling followed him in with a proud and spirited air.
"Young man, making anything else is too troublesome and not suitable for you. Why don't you just cook a bowl of noodles and fry an egg for me?"
She skillfully took out all the necessary ingredients in the kitchen while instructing Su Xiaowu to wash the pot, boil water, and cook noodles.
Then, in a separate pot, add oil.
Just as Su Xiaowu was about to crack the egg into the hot oil.
The little dumpling's short legs moved like a little motor. While shouting "Wait a minute!", she ran to a cupboard and found an egg mold, even choosing a heart-shaped one.
