Chapter 140 Recognizing Relatives
Si Youlin looked up and gazed inside, a vague, indescribable feeling rising in his heart.
Looking at Jiang Ran, his eyes were full of complaints, a kind of disappointed disappointment. He thought she had really turned over a new leaf, but it turned out she had found a new lover...
"What are you still looking at?" Si Zuochen urged. Si Youlin hesitated for a moment, about to leave.

Si Youlin looked up at Si Zuochen, asking for his opinion. Si Zuochen pursed his lips slightly, hesitated for a moment, and then stepped forward. Si Youlin pretended to follow closely behind.
Seeing their displeased expressions, Jiang Ran asked softly, "What's wrong? Why do you look so pale?"
Si Zuochen restrained himself from looking at the man beside him, lowered his gaze and noticed her injuries, asking in a low voice, "What happened to you?"
Seeing this, Jiang Yuechen spoke up at the right time: "This is my fault. She did it to save me."
Hearing Jiang Yuechen's explanation, Si Zuochen's expression grew even more unpleasant, and he said coldly, "I didn't ask you!"
Jiang Yuechen sensed the inexplicable hostility in the words and looked puzzled.
Upon seeing this, Jiang Ran instantly understood his implied meaning, but she did not rush to explain.

Seeing that he was still holding a grudge against Jiang Yuechen, Jiang Ran smiled slightly and chuckled as she noticed his sullen expression. Then she looked at Jiang Yuechen and nodded slightly.
Jiang Yuechen immediately understood and said softly, "Let me introduce myself. I'm actually your uncle."
"Uncle?" Upon hearing this, Si Zuochen and Si Youlin exchanged a glance, both showing surprise.
Jiang Yuechen knew their concerns, so he took out the DNA test results from the file bag and handed them to them: "These are the test results. You'll understand once you see them."
Si Zuochen reached out and took it, skimming through it until he reached the very bottom.
Biological evidence confirms that Jiang Yuechen and Jiang Ran are indeed siblings.
Upon seeing this, both Si Zuochen and Si Youlin were taken aback and looked at Jiang Yuechen in shock, only to see him smiling gently with a warm expression.
"How could this be?" Si Youlin's pupils suddenly contracted, and he exclaimed in surprise.
Jiang Yuechen smiled slightly and slowly explained, "It's a long story. When we were young, some accidents happened, which led to your mother being abducted by human traffickers and her whereabouts remaining unknown ever since."
"I only found out about this recently, so I rushed here to reunite with my relatives."
Hearing his words, Si Zuochen turned his head slightly, and a strange emotion appeared in his eyes as he looked at Jiang Ran.
He never expected that such a thing would happen to her. He was precocious and naturally knew what it meant to be abducted by human traffickers.
Seeing the different expressions on their faces, Jiang Yuechen knew that they had taken his words to heart.

"What?!" A hint of worry flashed across Si Youlin's face, and he quickly turned to look at Jiang Ran: "Then you..."
Seeing the tension in his eyes, Jiang Ran felt a surge of warmth in her heart. She raised an eyebrow and reassured him, "It's alright, I'm perfectly fine now."
Si Youlin looked her over from head to toe and, seeing that she was indeed unharmed, his heart finally settled down.

Putting everything else aside, they were genuinely happy to have another family member.
Jiang Yuechen suddenly realized that this was the first time he had met his two nephews, and he hadn't even prepared a gift. He immediately felt a little awkward.
Looking at the two brothers, he quickly said, "We were in too much of a rush today and didn't prepare anything. Next time..."
"I'll definitely prepare a bigger gift next time!"

Jiang Ran leaned against the bed, listening to Si Zuochen's subtle words. Her eyes flickered slightly, and she suddenly realized that her efforts to show goodwill and make sacrifices these past few days had not been in vain.

Suddenly, a knocking sound came from outside the door. The group looked up and saw police officers standing outside, looking very professional.

Seeing how they were standing up for him, Jiang Yuechen felt a surge of warmth in his heart.
The police officer was taken aback when he saw the two children blocking his way. He then explained softly, "Don't worry, we're just doing a simple investigation based on the scene to refine the facts."
Upon hearing this, Si Zuochen's expression softened slightly, and he looked at Jiang Yuechen with concern.
Jiang Yuechen smiled slightly and said softly, "It's okay, I'll be back after I finish giving my statement."
After saying that, he looked up at the police officer with an apologetic expression: "It's just that I'm physically unwell, and the driver is waiting downstairs, you see..."
"It's alright, we'll bring you back."
"That's good." Jiang Yuechen smiled slightly, then exchanged a few words with Jiang Ran before the police officer pushed him to turn and leave.
