Chapter 5: The Peak Must Decline
Lu Ziyi was stunned, seemingly speechless.
Jiang Ran smirked. The first step in PUA is to destroy the other person's self-esteem.
Then, she sighed dramatically and said, "Ziyi, I know you've had a tough time and don't have much to offer, so I'll use this for now. But as you know, if you want more benefits, you have to make sacrifices."
His earnest words, coupled with Jiang Ran's delicate manner, clearly indicated that he was offering her a generous gift and a sweet treat.
Lu Ziyi had never seen Jiang Ran like this before, and he nodded along with her as if possessed.
Jiang Ran then stood up and deliberately sat elegantly next to Lu Ziyi, whispering, "Ziyi, as long as we sell this share, we can be together. Think about it, it's fifty or sixty million, enough for us to live very well for the rest of our lives."
Upon hearing the amount, Lu Ziyi's eyes widened, and he nodded repeatedly, speaking in a fawning manner: "Ranran, you're so thoughtful."
As he spoke, his gaze swept over Jiang Ran's charming face, and a layer of greed immediately surfaced in his eyes. He couldn't help but reach out and say, "Z Ranran, you're so beautiful—ah!"
Jiang Ran grabbed his hand halfway through its reach and kicked him in the groin.
Lu Ziyi screamed and collapsed to the ground, groaning in pain.
"Oh dear, Ziyi, are you alright?"
Jiang Ran feigned panic, adding a kick before pulling him up: "I...I didn't mean to, I just saw a worm on your pants!"
As she spoke, she beckoned the maid outside the door to come in, and said in a sweet voice, "Hurry up and send this gentleman away, he has been injured by accident."
Lu Ziyi was lifted up with groans and complaints. Before leaving, Jiang Ran whispered in his ear, "Remember our little secret, baby!"
After saying that, she shoved the man away and shouted, "Send him out."
"yes!"
Watching the scumbag leave, Jiang Ran clapped her hands, looking disgusted, and was about to leave when she caught a glimpse of a small figure out of the corner of her eye.
She frowned, rushed to the corner, and grabbed the dark figure by the collar.
Where are we going?
His playful words were enough to send a shiver down Si Youlin's spine.
Jiang Ran turned her head and saw the little guy suddenly turn around and open his mouth to bite.
"Hiss, born in the Year of the Dog?"
Jiang Ran recoiled as if electrocuted, then swiftly pinched the delicate, exquisitely sculpted face.
Tsk, although there's not much meat, it's tender and easy to squeeze.
However, Si Youlin was furious and reached out to hit her, but Jiang Ran grabbed his wrist.
"That's enough, if you move again I'll really hit you."
The cold rebuke, though not loud, was enough to evoke the deepest fear in Si Youlin's heart. His pupils dilated instantly, and he angrily raised his eyes to stare at Jiang Ran.
"You green tea b*tch! Hit me however you want!"
green tea?
Jiang Ran snorted, "You know quite a lot for your young age."
"If I'm green tea, what are you, Biluochun tea?" She raised an eyebrow, but her sharp gaze caught Si Youlin's hidden hand.
What are you holding in your hand?
Si Youlin was taken aback and subconsciously tightened his grip, but Jiang Ran didn't give him a chance. She snatched it away directly, and upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a phone watch.
Jiang Ran had seen this thing in the original owner's memories.
The woman, who was self-taught, casually fiddled with the things inside and found them.
It was a photo of her with Lu Ziyi just now?
"Give it to me!"
Si Youlin panicked; this was evidence he had painstakingly captured!
"Evidence? Is this evidence or slander?"
Jiang Ran frowned. Although she didn't care what others thought of her, it seemed that she still had to be careful if she wanted to survive.
The photos here are taken from very tricky angles, and they are mostly in a rather ambiguous way.
Good heavens, if this were presented to Old Master Si, even if Jiang Ran had a mouth full of mouths, he still wouldn't be able to explain himself!
Why were you taking pictures of me without my permission?
Jiang Ran held the Little Genius phone watch in her hand, her expression looking down at him with exceptional coldness.
Si Youlin was a little exasperated and jumped up suddenly, but Jiang Ran just raised her hand lightly and tapped his little head.
"Ouch—!"
It felt like a thousand pounds were pressing down on him, and he fell flat on his backside.
"Jiang Ran, you unfaithful woman, this is evidence of your betrayal of your husband!"
Enraged, Si Youlin spoke recklessly, his words extremely harsh despite his young age: "A woman like you deserves to be torn to pieces!"
Tortured into a thousand pieces?
Jiang Ran laughed so hard she was shaking; Little Knife's PP really opened her eyes.
"You think you can take a single blow?" Jiang Ran mocked without any politeness. "With your current abilities, you probably couldn't even withstand one of my palm strikes."
Si Youlin was stunned. He originally thought that he would be beaten after saying these words. He thought that if he angered this woman, he would have a chance to get the watch back. But to his surprise, she was actually laughing.
"Little brat, who are you going to hand this over to punish me?" Jiang Ran lowered her eyelashes, her charming smile filled with mockery.
Si Youlin felt insulted.
"What's it to you!"
He tried to grab the phone again, but Jiang Ran held his head down with one finger.
For a moment, he felt as if he couldn't move.
"Do you want to show it to the person in a vegetative state upstairs, or to the elderly person?"
Jiang Ran narrowed her eyes slightly, and in those pure yet tainted eyes, she saw the figure of an old man flash by.
Based on her memory, she could barely recall that this was probably the old man Si she had never met before.
In the original owner's memory, the old man's health had always seemed to be poor.
It's no wonder. The son is destined for the throne, and the grandson is destined for the dragon and tiger. The cycle of heaven needs balance. Since there are strong ones, there will inevitably be losses.
Everything that reaches its peak must decline.
That's just how it sometimes is.
But judging from my memory, this old man was quite kind to the original owner.
Seemingly not expecting to be seen through, Si Youlin was very annoyed. His thin lips, which were exactly the same as Si Yanxiao's, were pursed into a line as he coldly said, "You are not worthy to mention Grandpa."
Anger was spreading in his dark pupils.
Clearly, the original owner had incurred the wrath of many.
Jiang Ran narrowed her eyes, cleaned up the photos on her watch phone, and said in a deep voice, "Since you care about your grandfather so much, you shouldn't use something like this to upset him."
As she spoke, she tapped the boy's forehead and then instructed him, "As payment for deleting your photos, I'll give you a free reminder: don't go to the river recently." This obstacle in his life, if he truly tried, could be changed.
It just depends on whether people are willing to listen.
As expected, Si Youlin just sneered when he heard this, took the opportunity to snatch the watch from Jiang Ran's hand, turned around, and left without looking back.
"Don't think I'll believe you. If there's a next time, I'll make you pay!"
