Chapter Twenty-Five: Wedding Photos (5)

Lin Huali disagreed, "You're being too sensitive. It might not be a bad thing if Madam Jiang lets us leave. Maybe she just sees us wasting our time standing there and wants me to go back. Besides, she said she'll send Song Yuwei back after the wedding photos are taken, which means we shouldn't worry."

Chen Zimei quickened her pace, angrily saying, "You really know how to make excuses for your embarrassment! You still insist that she did it for our own good when it's so obvious! If she really valued us, she should have invited us in to rest and ordered someone to serve us tea and water, instead of directly telling us to leave!"

Ren Yuran chimed in, "Exactly! That Mrs. Jiang seems nice, but none of the Jiang family members are any good! They're like this after just one meeting, how will they treat us in the future? On the other hand, that Song Yuwei is so valued by Young Master Jiang. It's true that mental illness can't be compared to normal people!"

Ren Yuran had originally planned to take advantage of the filming time to get to know her dream lover, Jiang Mo, more!

She didn't even have a chance to glance at him, or even say hello, or get to know him before he kicked her out by that mentally ill man!

She's now filled with rage but doesn't know where to direct it!

"Alright, alright, you two don't understand the bigger picture, you're just being prejudiced by your little women!"

Lin Huali grew impatient; he didn't believe at all that Madam Jiang really intended to send them away.

Meanwhile, after Madam Jiang entered the filming location, she greeted Jiang Mo.

Jiang Mo was somewhat surprised that Madam Jiang would come today.

"How's filming going, Ah Cheng and that Miss Song? Is Ah Cheng cooperating well?"

Madam Jiang asked softly, her expression gentle and kind.

A strange look flashed across Jiang Mo's face, then he nodded and said, "They're still filming. They're both very cooperative, so the photos will probably turn out great."

"Does Miss Song have difficulty walking and not need anyone else's help?" Madam Jiang asked abruptly.

Jiang Mo shook his head, "No need, no need. She's just having some inconvenience, but she seems perfectly capable of doing anything normally, so there's nothing to worry about."

Madam Jiang seemed relieved. "That's good." Then she smiled with satisfaction. "It can be said that Ah Cheng has found a good wife."

Jiang Mo couldn't help but pout as she thought about how her second brother and future sister-in-law had been showing affection for each other. Her second brother really valued romance over friendship!

Song Yuwei and Jiang Cheng cooperated very well, so the whole process of taking wedding photos went exceptionally smoothly.

The shoot lasted about two hours and then ended. When Song Yuwei and Jiang Cheng came out of the studio, they saw Madam Jiang smiling at them with a beaming smile.

"Ah Cheng, are you done filming?"

Jiang Cheng's expression seemed to change subconsciously the moment he saw her.

"Second brother, Madam Jiang has been waiting here for quite some time."

Jiang Mo said that he and Jiang Cheng had always addressed her as Madam Jiang, just like outsiders would, and had never called her anything else.

"Oh," Jiang Cheng replied, sounding somewhat sullen.

Jiang Mo didn't seem to care much. "Second brother, would you like to go out for something nice to eat today? How about I take you and your future sister-in-law with us?"

Hearing Jiang Mo affectionately address Song Yuwei as his future sister-in-law, Madam Jiang was taken aback. "Amo, you're calling her sister-in-law so soon?"

Jiang Mo nodded and said with a smile, "You don't know this, but my brother has already decided that Miss Song is his wife. So it's not inappropriate for me to call Miss Song my future sister-in-law."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Cheng finally stopped being sullen. He nodded vigorously and said, "Yes! This Miss Song is my wife, the one I'm going to marry. So from now on, you should all call her sister-in-law!"

His orders were given in a serious manner, so how could anyone dare to disobey them?

Upon hearing this, the subordinates all shouted in unison, "Sister-in-law! Please feel free to give us any instructions from now on!"

Song Yuwei's eardrums vibrated slightly from the deafeningly synchronized shouts. She waved her hand and said, "Alright everyone, don't listen to his nonsense. You all go about your business."

Madam Jiang witnessed the whole scene from the side. She smiled seemingly pleased, "That's really good! Miss Feng, it seems we didn't misjudge you after all. Our Cheng likes you so much from the very first meeting. It seems you are quite popular."

Song Yuwei looked at Madam Jiang. Although Madam Jiang appeared calm and composed, without any sign of pretense, her sharp eyes revealed no trace of relief or joy.

"Hehehe..." Song Yuwei scratched her head sheepishly, "What do I have to do with being popular? It's just that everyone is praising me. Besides, Jiang Cheng is such a nice person. I'll be waiting for you to pamper me more in the future!"

She said the last two sentences to Jiang Cheng, who nodded obediently and said, "Don't worry, wife, I will definitely take good care of you and love you from now on. I know that as a man, it is my duty to protect my wife!"

As Jiang Mo listened to the two of them singing in unison, with Jiang Cheng constantly calling her "wife," he couldn't help but feel a pang of bitterness welling up inside him.

Even his second brother has a wife, but he's still a lifelong bachelor!

Waaaaah!

Did the God of Marriage pull his red thread into the furnace and burn it directly?

“I never expected you two to be so loving. I will definitely tell your father about everything I saw when I get back.”

Madam Jiang spoke slowly, seemingly genuinely wishing them well.

Upon hearing her mention their father, Jiang Mo's expression darkened. "Why bring him up?"

Seeing Jiang Mo's resistance, Madam Jiang couldn't help but say, "Look at you, Mo, you're a grown-up now. Stop being so irresponsible and upsetting your father. He's been very worried about you two. Besides, you two haven't even come home lately. Where have you been?"

Jiang Mo gave a vague answer: "I took my brother to my friend's resort for a few days, and we're back now."

Mrs. Jiang frowned. "If it weren't for you and your brother being with him, your father would have been so worried he'd be posting notices everywhere looking for him! Your brother has special circumstances, but you can't just wander around with him like that! You have to think about us, your parents, too..."

At this point, Jiang Mo had no interest in listening any further. He irritably ruffled his hair. "Alright! Mrs. Jiang! You've seen what you needed to see. If you have anything to report, you can go back and report. You don't need to bother us any longer!"

Jiang Mo abandoned his previous respectful attitude towards Madam Jiang and spoke directly.

Madam Jiang paused, opened her mouth, looked at Jiang Mo's impatient and irritable appearance, and sighed.

"Alright, since you two both dislike me so much, I won't say anything more. I'm just worried because the wedding is coming up soon, so I came to check on things."
