Chapter 10 Reunion with Meng Danruo

Ahem, I see.

Hua Changle put aside his naiveté and politely said, "Thank you for your help."

Zhai He picked her up horizontally.

Hua Changle lay quietly in his arms, but inside she was so excited she was practically driving 422 crazy.

"Bunny, ahhh, I'm going to fly! I'm going to fly!"

I'm about to be carried away by a winged man! Ahhh, I'm so excited!!

Do you want my two-dimensional husband to break through the dimensional barrier and come to life?!

This is something I never even dared to dream of! Wow!

Okay, okay, I know you're excited, but please don't get excited yet.

Don't rush over there again, calm down.

How could she remain calm! This was someone like an angel, gently carrying her away!

Good heavens! What a fairy tale plot!

Wuhu~

I've got my dream material for tonight!

Zhai He was indeed very meticulous. This time, the flight was very stable, and she adjusted the flight attitude to keep it steady.

Hua Changle felt both comfortable and surprised, and couldn't help but glance at Kyushu Academy from this perspective out of the corner of her eye.

Zhai He noticed her subtle glance, and gently curled his lips, pretending not to see it, but slowed down slightly so that she could see him more clearly.

Zhou Liang was waiting at the school gate. Hua Wuyan had informed him of the situation, but he was still surprised when he saw his young mistress being carried over by a beast-like superhuman. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was Zhai He, a friend of the Fifth Young Master.

Zhai He handed her over to Zhou Liang, said goodbye to Zhou Liang, and then turned and left.

Zhou Liang inquired about her health, then saw her to her car; the two did not exchange any further words.

Hua Changle returned to his room and, as usual, took several puffs of Rabbit's Breath to keep himself going before seeing the message from Luo Weiyin on his communicator:

How are you?

It was posted around noon.

Hua Changle replied:

I'm fine now, I'll go back to class tomorrow! Hehe.jpg.

Hua Wuyan didn't return for dinner, but Zhou Liang did mention something:

"Seventh Miss, the head of the family and his wife will be back tomorrow. You will be able to see them when you get home from school."

Hua Changle: "What!"

Zhou Liang smiled: "Miss must miss them, and must be very happy."

Hua Changle: "..." Why don't you open your eyes and look at me first? I don't believe you're just spouting nonsense.

Where did she show any happiness?

Hua Changle lay curled up in bed, sighing softly in front of the nightlight:

"What should I do, Rabbit? If they find out, will they use some inhuman methods to force me to tell them?"

I remember in the original novel, the head of the Hua family was the ultimate domineering CEO.

Hua Lihan, the head of the Hua family, is also the chief administrator of the Third District and the most powerful figure in the Third District.

He is domineering, aloof, and rational in personality, and his strength is top-tier in the three regions.

If his story with Madam Hua were written into a novel, it would be the popular type of domineering, wolf-like CEO versus pampered, spoiled princess!

How could a man who could turn the Hua family from its lowest point into the most powerful family be a simple character?

422 emotionally stable

[Escape, worry, and anxiety are all useless; the host can only complete the task by facing it head-on.]

"Hua Changle, what are you afraid of? Even tigers don't eat their cubs, let alone Madam Hua, who is a real tiger—oh, I mean..."

Hua Lihan is your father, the father who raised you. He wouldn't make things difficult for a little girl like you.

Madam Hua is a woman born into a family of beast-like, tiger-type creatures, yet she is not strong and is rather delicate and naive.

It was this delicate flower that tamed the wildest beast in the three districts.

Hua Changle wailed silently before finally falling into a peaceful sleep.

If there's a problem you can't solve, just take a nap first.

[...]

422 admires this mental state.

Never mind, goodnight, anyway...

I will always stay by your side.

————————

This chapter is a combination of one and a half chapters, so it's quite long, haha!

It's worth mentioning here that Meng Danruo's character is seemingly aloof but actually a naive and innocent girl. This stems from her abilities (a healing type that leans towards being protected) and her family background (she has an older brother and younger brother and is extremely pampered). However, the author didn't portray her as a manipulative or scheming type.

She's just a normal girl who loves a boy, but she endures it all because of the feud between their families. She's a bit spoiled, a bit selfish, and a bit awkward...

In short, she is neither perfect nor particularly bad.

Anyway, Xiaoyu rarely has characters who are bad for no reason, and she rarely has perfect characters (if I had to say, Ayu in "The General" is really the most ideal and perfect character, there is no better one).

If you find it annoying...

Oh well! I'm at a loss too~~~

All I can say is that this is not a fairy tale for princesses.

I'm sorry, my book won't only contain happy birdsong and fragrant flowers.

Society is, and so are roles.
