Chang Le shook his head: "You're really mistaken. The internal strife in Sunny was indeed partly due to the investigation of District 7, but the trigger for the strife was the bombing of the Holy Cathedral, which I didn't do."
A hint of doubt appeared between Chen Wu's brows: "But the timing of this move is perfect. It can't be a coincidence. Is someone helping you?"
"I don't know either."
As he was talking, Chang Le yawned.
Seeing that it was getting late, Chen Wu turned off the light, and the two of them fell asleep.
Chang Le wasn't a particularly well-behaved sleeper, but he wasn't a bad one either. He would curl up like a little rabbit and lie half-upright without moving at all.
Chen Wu slept well and was woken up by a fragrant aroma in the morning.
Turning my head, I found that Chang Le had gotten up sometime earlier. Looking out the window, it was only about six o'clock.
Chen Wu went out and saw two breakfasts on the table. Chang Le had just washed his hands and came back: "Awake? Perfect timing, the breakfast is still hot."
"Why are you up so early?"
Chen Wu glanced at the breakfast; it was from Liu's, which didn't deliver. It would take more than half an hour to get there and back, meaning Chang Le would have been up by 5:30 at the latest.
Chang Le set out chopsticks for her: "If you can't sleep, get up."
Chen Wu, carrying her clothes, was about to go wash up when she heard this. She stopped, glanced at her, and asked, "Are you having trouble sleeping?"
Chang Le paused for a moment and nodded: "It has been a bit lately."
Perhaps it's because I have too many things on my mind. Lately, when I sleep, I either dream or have fragmented memories, which makes it difficult for me to sleep soundly, and it's hard to fall back asleep after waking up.
Chen Wu said, "If it's serious, we need to go to the hospital to get it checked out. We can't just keep going like this."
"I'm planning to go check out the place my friend recommended later."
This morning, when she was chatting with Luo Xuan, he noticed that she wasn't sleeping well, so he recommended a place.
