"Thump—thump—"
Chang Le stared wide-eyed at the enormous creature that stretched to the level of the small hill: "Glacier Mammoth!"
The three-story-tall, fanged beast let out a deep, ancient roar, its breath like two hurricanes. Chang Le rolled behind the mountain wall to avoid being blown away.
Chang Le's face turned green.
An eighth-order glacial mammoth!
A high-defense tank, the darling of ice and snow. Even without suppressing cultivation level, it's difficult to defeat!
Wow, what a "limit"!
With a twitch of her ears, Chang Le lunged to the side. Her three-meter-long fangs, like the scythe of death, pierced through the mountain wall she was trying to hide in, shattering the rocks.
Chang Le lay motionless in the snow, letting the falling rocks hit him.
Unable to find its target, the glacier mammoth frantically swept through everything in its vicinity.
Meanwhile, the other seventeen people encountered ferocious alien species such as glacial mammoths, giant deer, armored rhinoceroses, and ice-toothed tigers, and even megalodon sharks.
Still shaken, Huang Mingfu lay face down in the snowdrift, his eyes wide and his jaw dislocated as he stared at the lake.
The menacing shark's head remained on the surface of the water, its red eyes staring unblinkingly at him, its body swaying as if trying to climb ashore.
Huang Mingfu clutched his heart, his face contorted in a grimace: "What are you doing! I was just tasting to see if it was fresh water! You're going to eat me after just one bite? How stingy! You scared me to death! You almost bit my head off!"
"Waaah..."
Huang Mingfu asked in confusion, "Why are you making such a commotion, you fish?"
"Waaah..."
A low growl, like the roar of an engine, came from behind. Huang Mingfu stiffened and slowly turned his head. A giant tiger with blue striped fangs bared its teeth, poised to strike.
Huang Mingfu took a deep breath, then turned and ran, yelling, "Holy crap! Aaaaaah!"
Control room.
"Why did this kid encounter two?" an instructor asked.
The instructor, who had been staring at Huang Mingfu, said speechlessly, "No, that shark wasn't arranged. The fish was sleeping peacefully. This kid just leaned over by the lake and the smell woke the shark up."
"Well……"
68 hours to go.
Five vines intertwined, like claws embedded in the mountain wall. As the terrifying fangs fell, they tore Chang Le away. The fangs brought a cold wind that brushed against his back, making Chang Le's scalp tingle.
If you were hit by one of those, half a person would be gone! If it hit a vital spot, those thick fangs could pierce your heart!
Her vines, after her cultivation was suppressed, could only scratch this big guy!
Chang Le clung to the mountain wall like ivy, watching the giant beast charging towards him again, then quickly glanced around and had an idea.
Li Yunfan stared at the young people struggling or running away on the screen, his gaze lingering on one particular frame.
In the scene, vines continuously emerge and retract from all directions, and the girl's nimble figure weaves among them.
Every ten jumps, she would pause for a second longer on the mountain wall or path before leaping away, the tusks of the glacier mammoth narrowly missing her before crashing into the mountainside.
She neither fled nor fought the glacier mammoth, but dodged and leaped, as if deliberately teasing it.
"Is this Chang Le? What does she want to do?" an instructor asked.
"I don't understand. It looks like they're scouting locations. Could they be setting up a formation?"
"At her speed, this big guy can't catch her if she wants to run. Why don't we hurry up and get going?"
"I don't know."
Looking at Chang Le's landing point, and the spot where he was inevitably destroyed by the Glacier Mammoth every time he landed, Li Yunfan felt a bad premonition.
"Instructor Li! There's an anomaly in the geological markers!"
Li Yunfan quickly took it and saw that it was a place marked by previous exploration that might be dangerous. The abnormality was in Rhinoceros Horn Peak where Chang Le was located.
"This is bad!" Li Yunfan immediately realized what was happening and slammed his hand on the table. "Send nearby air rescue teams over immediately!"
"What happened... Oh my god!"
Before the words were even finished, something unexpected happened on screen!
Chang Lefei pounced and landed on the mountain road directly in front of the Glacier Mammoth, its giant tusks pointing diagonally upwards towards the sky, with snow and gravel flying everywhere.
Behind her, at the summit of Rhinoceros Horn Peak, the scene shifted from a still image to a dynamic one, with a white torrent suddenly cascading down.
avalanche!
The once smooth snow had become precarious due to the fighting, and under the tremors caused by the glacier mammoth, it tilted down.
Looking again, the mountain wall, guided by Chang Le, had marks carved out by the giant beast's fangs that resembled a narrow tube effect. The snow powder accelerated as it passed through the narrow bends and rolled down!
The entire side of Rhinoceros Horn Peak was shrouded in a rolling sea of white clouds.
"You reckless brat!" Li Yunfeng cursed angrily.
Instead of dodging to the side, Chang Le took a step forward and charged straight at the glacier mammoth. Dozens of vines, along with his arms, bound the giant, raised trunk. Using the momentum, Chang Le grabbed the trunk and slid his body in a resilient arc above the mammoth's head, forcibly raising the mammoth's head.
The mammoth opened its huge mouth and roared.
Less than a second after the roar, the avalanche began!
The surging white waters completely engulfed the man and the giant beast, with aftershocks continuing to roll downwards.
A thick blanket of white dust filled the air, making it seem as if an extra layer of sky had appeared on one side of Rhinoceros Horn Peak.
"Where is the rescue team?" Li Yunfan asked in a deep voice.
"We have arrived, but aerial visibility is obstructed, so we cannot land for the time being."
Looking at the body data displayed at the bottom of Chang Le's screen, Li Yunfan said, "Keep a close eye on her vital signs, and provide immediate assistance if anything goes wrong!"
The rumbling sound echoed and traveled far between the valleys and peaks.
Upon encountering Shen Xiu, Xue Cheng, who was traveling with him, had experienced multiple avalanches and immediately recognized it: "It's an avalanche, it seems to be from the southwest."
64 hours to go.
Two hours have passed since Chang Le was buried under the snow. The dust on the east side of Rhinoceros Horn Peak has dissipated, and a rainbow has appeared on the mountain road as the sun evaporates water vapor.
But the snowdrift remained completely still.
The rescue planes in the sky and the rescue teams on the ground have arrived, and they are all amazed to see that the vital signs have been quite stable for two whole hours.
"Didn't you suffocate after two hours?"
"Is this machine broken?"
Suddenly, a sound came from the mountain wall, like the sound of a taut string. With two sharp "thuds," two dark green vines that had somehow embedded themselves in the mountain wall suddenly straightened and began to tremble at the other end buried in the snow.
Then, a disheveled person climbed out from the snow-covered side of the mountain wall, with vines wrapped around her waist, pulling her to the side of the snow.
With a flick of her wrists, more than a dozen vines buried in the snow gently parted to the sides, like windshield wipers, revealing a large expanse of the glacial behemoth's skin.
The giant beast's belly had more than a dozen holes frozen shut.
She was disheveled, her clothes stained with blood, and stood beside the giant beast like a demon.
Li Yunfan's eyes lit up when he saw her: "She's really crazy!"
