After placing the person on the bed, Chang Le pushed open the sixth door.
It was still the same doctor's room where we had our last conversation. Behind the desk sat He, with white hair and golden eyes.
"What would you like me to call you?" Chang Le sat down opposite him. "Do you prefer Fu Jiu, or Jiu Fang Chang Le?"
The person opposite smiled: "The reason I am called 'Jiufang Changle' is because I was the first one to be born. You were not completely unconscious during those hundreds of years of being sealed away. In the silence and paleness, the original me was born. I am the remnant of Jiufang Changle in the Green Vine Courtyard. But later, when I was fully born, I was given more new meaning, so I call myself 'Fu Jiu'."
Chang Le nodded gently: "I understand, Fu Jiu."
Fu Jiu smiled and pushed a glass of warm water towards her: "Why won't you let me do it?"
Chang Le shook her head, her eyes calm as still water: "I should have been the one to say goodbye to them."
Why leave the two most dangerous people behind?
Chang Le raised an eyebrow slightly: "Two? Shouldn't it be four?"
Fu Jiu was slightly taken aback, then chuckled: "That's right, that's right!"
Ye Buqi, Wei An, plus He Fu Jiu, and Chang Le himself, how can there not be four?
Chang Le stroked the rim of his cup and suddenly spoke: "The one who truly inherited that original bloodline power is you."
Fu Jiu smiled but remained silent.
“Fu Jiu.” Chang Le looked up at Him, “accompany me to the end of the Milky Way.”
"Is this the 'end' you chose?"
"Perhaps this is not the end."
Fu Jiu chuckled: "With pleasure."
Chang Le finished drinking the water, put the glass back, and left.
