Suddenly, she opened her eyes.
One emitted a faint green glow, while the other was as red as blood, both radiating an eerie, ghostly light in the darkness.
Ryan was so startled that he jumped back.
The person on the ground closed their eyes again, then opened them again. The scarlet color faded, leaving only a pair of green eyes, like those of a wild beast from the deep mountains.
Startled and annoyed, Ryan strode forward, raising his hand to strike, when suddenly someone shouted, "What are you doing!"
At the same time, a streak of crimson flame swept across the night sky, and Carson grabbed Ryan and retreated to avoid it.
