Violet used dragon breath to control the winged beast and let it lead her to the habitat of high-level fire elemental monsters.

The Fire Elemental's habitat was somewhat desolate, with the surrounding area a scorched earth, seemingly devoid of any vegetation. The beasts that were supposed to be in their habitat were nowhere to be seen, having fled off to battle.

The air was still filled with a strong fire element, the temperature was much higher than other places, even the ground was hot.

The long-winged beast was no match for the fire elemental monster. When it flew above the fire elemental monster, its instinctive fear made it tremble constantly. After landing, the fire elements and the hot ground around it made the long-winged beast put down Vilt and wanted to escape, but Vilt's dragon breath still restrained it.

The winged beast was hovering in place, its wings trembling but it couldn't fly.

Vilt found a patch of grass and trees and sat down, leaning against a thin tree trunk, feeling exhausted. When the winged beast pulled out its claws, she felt as if her shoulder would break. Even moving her fingers caused excruciating pain. Her face was pale, and sweat dripped down her forehead, flowing down her neck.

Due to sucking too much blood, Vilt's vision was already a little black. Now in the high temperature environment, the oxygen was becoming thinner and thinner. Vilt's limbs and body were becoming weak, and she could only rely on instinct to mobilize the dragon's breath bit by bit.

The dragon's breath flowed out of Vilt's body along with the blood. Now she could only gather the weak dragon's breath into a thin layer of gauze to wrap the wound. Although the dragon's breath was small, it stopped the bleeding of the wound, which was much better than leaving it alone without any measures.

This is all Violet can do now, she needs to save the remaining dragon breath for other things.

The sharp pain from the wound on her shoulder cleared Violet's drowsy mind. Once she was sure she would not die, she began to think - the person who pushed her should be Luke. Although the plan had a slight deviation because of Luke, it would be more real in the eyes of Sophia and the swordsman mercenary, and the information conveyed by them would be natural and ordinary so that people would not be able to see the design.

Along the way, Vilt had the winged beast leave obvious traces, either traces of wind elemental magic or feathers of the winged beast. Normally, it would take the mercenary team and Evelyn half a day to find this place.

If someone had been in a hurry, she would have been found an hour or two sooner.

Will anyone be anxious?

Violet thought, closing her eyes and laughing at herself.

Before, I was worried that I would leave too much blood and make people worried, but now I want to see people anxious.

No wonder he was called the evil dragon, and no wonder everyone who saw or mentioned him looked terrified and disgusted. Fortunately, he hadn't met the princess yet.

All kinds of thoughts were running through Violet's head, making her wound hurt even more.

The wound stopped bleeding, and the dragon's breath re-gathered within Vilt, along with the blood. Another layer of dragon's breath was applied to her shoulder, and Vilt stopped letting her thoughts wander. The winged beast nearby was chattering something at Vilt, but Vilt pretended not to hear.

The concentration of fire elements in the habitat is decreasing, which means that the fire elemental monsters not only have no intention of returning, but are also getting farther and farther away from here.

This was not what Violet wanted to see.

Just like when she first searched for the winged beast, Vilt released dragon breath and searched in the forest, and soon she locked onto her target.

There is no need to mark the fire elemental monster, just pull it back.

Magical beasts have a very keen sense of danger. The moment Violet controlled the fire elemental magical beast, the winged beast struggled violently. It flapped its wings and tried to fly, but it felt as if a thousand tons of weight were falling on its wings and claws.

Vilt calculated the time and took back the dragon breath from the winged beast.

The long-winged beast was almost falling to the ground, but suddenly all the resistance on its body disappeared. The long-winged beast suddenly spread its wings, and the wings released its own wind element. The wind element touched the fire element in the air and instantly caught fire.

The wings of the winged beast were set on fire. It had no time to put out the fire and just wanted to fly away quickly to save its life.

The flames, fanned by the wind, formed a small vortex.

Vilt used the dragon breath she collected from the winged beast to set up a barrier, which isolated the magical elements and flames, and the temperature dropped suddenly.

The Fire Elemental's habitat lacked dense trees, so the Long-Winged Beast quickly took flight without resistance. However, because one of its wing feathers had been burned, it was tilted slightly. However, just before the Long-Winged Beast could soar away, a flaming beast lunged at it, its claws and maw swooping down on its neck.

The long-winged beast dodged quickly, but its wings were too long, and the claws of the fire elemental monster scratched its wings. The long-winged beast screamed in pain, and its other wing flapped at the fire elemental monster mercilessly.

The burning flames were a great help to the Fire Elemental Monster. It bit off the wings of the Long-Winged Monster with force. In order to survive, the Long-Winged Monster broke its wings and blinded one of the Fire Elemental Monster's eyes with its claws.

The two monsters fought fiercely in front of Vilt. The wind and fire elements burned more violently, the land became charred, and the air was distorted by the high temperature.

“There are traces of the winged beast’s wind elemental magic here!

"There are also feathers dropped by the long-winged beast when it flew!" The mercenaries carefully investigated the traces around and quickly reported to Bandusli.

"That means this is the direction." Bandusli nodded, and the group moved forward quickly in the forest. Even Sophia had no complaints.

Evelyn walked at the front of the team, listening to the mercenaries' reports, without a trace of warmth in her eyes.

Evelyn didn't need any of that.

She was so lost in thought at first that she forgot she had a way to find Violet. Evelyn had wanted to ditch the mercenary group and go there on her own, but Luke had been tied up by Bandusli and was tied to the back of the group, and Evelyn wasn't about to let him off easily.

The group continued to move forward in a team.

As you go deeper into the forest, the war between monsters becomes more brutal. The higher the level of the monsters, the wider the range of the battle. Some monsters even take the initiative to provoke you.

Evelin was determined to find Violet as soon as possible. She didn't care about hiding her strength. She only knew that the faster she was, the sooner she could see Violet. The sooner she saw Violet, the safer she would be.

Therefore, when Evelyn saw the mid-level earth elemental monster that was looking for trouble, she didn't bother to fight it. She simply and roughly extracted the magic elements from the opponent's body, rolled them into a ball, crushed it, and then burned it with fire.

The mid-level monster didn't even have time to scream in pain as it was burned, and was directly reduced to ashes in the flames.

Bandusili and her mercenary team were already prepared for battle, but they hadn't expected Evelin to easily slay a mid-level beast in its prime. She subconsciously turned her head to look at her mercenaries, who were not only shocked, but even Sophia was frozen in place.

Evelyn didn't care about the mercenary group's reaction. She didn't even glance at the ashes on the ground and continued walking forward quickly.

After the Warcraft turned into ashes, the magic crystal in its body was buried under the ashes. Seeing that Evelyn had no interest in this, Bandusli signaled the mercenary to pick up the magic crystal.

The mercenary was stunned when he pulled the magic crystal out of the ashes. The magic crystal in his hand was a transparent, irregular shell, and the elements inside had disappeared completely.

Bandusli narrowed her eyes as she looked at the "crystal" and had a plan in mind.

Evelyn killed all the magical beasts she encountered later in the same way. She even burned a high-level magical beast to death in this way.

The mercenaries were also initially in disbelief and shock, but then they bent down calmly to pick up the magic crystals.

And those magic crystals were just like the ones the mercenaries picked up at the beginning, empty shells.

If Bandusili thought that meeting Evelin was a good thing at the beginning, she has now completely dispelled this idea, and the balance in her head has shifted to the other extreme.

Bandusili sincerely hoped that nothing would happen to White, otherwise their small mercenary team would not be able to withstand the wrath of the magician.

Luke, who was at the back of the team, had no idea what was going on. He just thought Evely was using fire magic like before.

"How did White get captured by the winged beast?" A scout from the mercenary team came up to Luke and asked in a low voice.

"A winged beast suddenly flew over to me, and I tried to pull it back but failed. The princess misunderstood me." Luke continued with the same statement as before.

"Really?" The scout looked at Luke with a complicated expression. "You're not lying to me, are you?"

"Believe it or not!" Luke said sternly.

He originally thought that his attitude would gain the trust of some of his companions, but he didn't expect that with the departure of the scouts, the others would keep their distance from him. Even those who used to talk to Luke became secretive.

Luke was puzzled.

The swordsman observed the conversation between Luke and the scout, as well as Luke's expression.

He knew Luke was lying. Having known Luke for so many years, the swordsman could easily tell why Luke had extended his hand.

It wasn't that he wanted to pull but failed as he said, but Luke was afraid that he would be captured by the winged beast, so he pushed White out first.

Princess Sofia was right.

But the swordsman didn't think this was anything to be blamed for. People in life-or-death situations would do irrational and incomprehensible things. He didn't think Luke pushing an ordinary person out was a big deal, nor did he think Luke would make the same choice if White were a member of the mercenary team.

He even felt that Bandusli would also take this matter lightly and let it go, so he remained silent.

However, the strength Evelin displayed along the way was shocking.

The positions of the weights on the balance were reversed.

After witnessing Evelyn's abilities, Bandusli no longer ordered the mercenaries to specifically search for traces of the winged beast along the way.

Without the mercenary to guide the way, Evelyn's direction of progress was not affected at all. The mercenary silently pointed out the location of the winged beast feathers and magic elements to Bandusli, indicating that Evelyn had not gone wrong.

The swordsman slowed down and fell to the end of the team.

"You..." Luke saw the swordsman's eyes light up, and he wanted the swordsman to plead for him.

The swordsman shook his head and didn't let Luke finish his words. Instead, he gestured for him to look at the front of the team.

Luke followed the swordsman's gaze and saw Evelyn crushing the blue magic ball in her hand. In front of her was a water elemental monster being burned by fire. The monster was almost at a high level.

The smell of burning flesh and blood drifted into Luke's nostrils, and ashes entered his nostrils through the air. It seemed that the blood in his body had also been burned dry by Evelyn's fire.

The Warcraft was like a thin piece of paper in front of Evelin, so he...

Luke's face suddenly turned pale, and he felt like he was out of his mind.

The winged beast was ultimately defeated by the high-level magical beast. Its neck was bitten off, and the feathers on its wings were almost plucked out. It fell heavily to the ground and never got up again.

The fire elemental monster didn't have a good time either. Its other eye was blinded by the long-winged beast's beak, and its back was covered with long and deep wounds. The fire elemental monster that killed the long-winged beast was exhausted.

Being blind and surrounded by darkness made it irritable, and it raised its head and howled loudly at the surroundings.

After watching a Warcraft war, the wounds on Vilt's body stopped bleeding early and her dragon breath was almost recovered.

Not only the exhausted fire elemental monster, but even the winged beast and the fire elemental monster in their prime can be easily crushed to death by Violet.

But she couldn't do it herself.

Standing up from the tree, she raised her hand to brush off the ashes on her clothes. Then, she took out the scroll Evelyn had given her, picked out the attack scroll, and carefully read the instructions on the back of the scroll. Looking at the monster still screaming not far away, she removed the barrier, found its weakness, and activated the attack scroll before the monster looked over. A purple lightning bolt shot out from the attack scroll and pierced straight through the monster's heart.

The monster only had time to whimper before it died, leaving traces of lightning around it.

Feeling that the two monsters in front of her had no signs of life, Violet walked forward. She casually threw the attack scroll next to the trace of lightning strike, bent down and dug out the fire element magic crystal with a knife.

The magic crystal of the high-level fire elemental monster was deep red, with pure fire elements flowing inside the crystal. As the elements flowed, the magic crystal became a little hot. Violet had no intention of cleaning up the blood. She also used a knife to cut a few more lines on the monster, pretending that she couldn't find the right position when digging for the magic crystal for the first time.

After setting up the "crime scene", Vilt put the magic crystal into her pocket, and walked to the side of the winged beast with the dagger tightly in her hand. She chose the side of the winged beast that was already a little burnt and lifted it up, and Vilt lay down in it.

After lying under the wings of the long-winged beast, Vilt dispelled the dragon's breath on her shoulder, and pressed the wound hard with the scabbard. The wound that had been healed opened again, and the charred wings were dyed red by the blood that seeped out.

Violet listened to the sound of footsteps approaching and closed her eyes with relief.

The traces left by the winged beast and Evelyn's search magic disappeared here.

The mercenary and Evelyn saw the two corpses of magical beasts lying in front of them. The elemental fluctuations in the air had not disappeared yet, indicating that the battle had just ended not long ago.

Bandusli signaled the mercenaries to be on guard in case the monster was not completely dead.

Evelyn immediately saw the weak body beneath the wings of the winged beast.

The magician who had been killing decisively all the way now stumbled and almost fell to the ground. His hands that had burned countless monsters to death began to tremble, and his frosty eyebrows were covered with a look of worry and pity.

Evelyn pushed the winged beast's wings away, pulled Velvet out, and held her tightly in her arms.

“Virte…Virte…” Evelyn couldn’t feel Violent’s breath. With red eyes, she put her lips to Violent’s ear and whispered her name over and over again.

Closely pressed against the other's cheek, it also slid down from the neck to the heart, until she felt a weak pulse from the side of Vilt's neck. Seeing that the other's chest was still rising and falling slightly, Evelin breathed a sigh of relief, but she never let go of the hand that was hugging Vilt.

Bandusli, not far away, breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that the "poor" magician, though half his body was soaked in blood, was still intact. She signaled the mercenary's healing mage to tend to White's wounds, then pulled back Sophia, who had been trying to approach without much tact.

"What are you doing?" Sophia frowned. She struggled with her wrist, trying to shake off Bandusli's hand, but failed.

"I don't think it's a wise decision for you to go there now, Your Highness," Bandusli said politely.

When the healing magician first tried to get closer to Vilt, Evelyn reached out to stop him.

The healing magician was a little confused, thinking he was still upset with the mercenary team because of Luke's behavior and didn't want to owe him a favor. So, he said, "The entire mercenary team is very sorry for Luke's behavior. The captain asked me to come here to make amends as much as we can. Let me see him. The continuous bleeding is life-threatening."

Evelyn looked at the healing magician, then at Bandusli not far away, then lowered her head and stared intently at the profile of Vilt. She rubbed Vilt's cheek with the back of her hand, and after a long silence, she nodded.

The healing magician raised his wand and muttered a spell. Pure white magic flowed from the magic crystal on the wand, slowly flowing into Velvet's body through the wound. Some of her minor wounds healed visibly, and the bleeding on her shoulder stopped. A touch of color returned to her pale face.

Healing magic works on dragons just like it does on humans, and there's no rejection.

Violet clearly felt her body getting better and slowly opened her eyes.

Seeing Violet open her eyes, Evelin’s tightly clenched hands suddenly loosened, and her heart completely returned to her stomach.

"How do you feel? Do you feel any discomfort anywhere?" Evelyn had a lot to say to Vilt, but she was afraid that the other party would feel tired after hearing her words in her current state.

Violet shook her head, not even saying a word of pain. She curled her lips into a smile. She wanted to raise her hand, but the action was a little difficult for her now.

Evelin had been paying attention to Violet's every move. Almost as soon as she had the thought, Evelin noticed it, "What's wrong? Is your hand uncomfortable?"

Evelyn didn't know what terrifying possibility popped up in her mind. She looked down at Vilt's hand in a panic, but what she saw was the "red crystal" in her palm.

“This is…” Evelin’s voice trembled a little. She was too familiar with this thing. She didn’t know how many she had burned along the way.

"For you." Violet said slowly, word by word.

A high-level fire elemental magic crystal, as red as a heart, instantly made Evelyn understand the whole story. Why didn't Violet let her go? Why did she need the mercenary group and bring Sophia with her? Why did the winged beast suddenly appear and abduct her? All the planning, all the calculations, were just for...

For me?

"Is this the magic crystal for Evelin?"

“For you.” Violet didn’t understand why Evelyn suddenly called her by her name, so she repeated it subconsciously.

Evelin’s eyes instantly turned red. Nothing mattered anymore. Everything was worth it. Even if the world turned into nothing at this moment, it would not be a big deal.

Evelyn didn't want Violet to see her miserable appearance, so she lowered her eyes and buried her head in the side of Violet's neck.

Violet felt the dampness on her neck. She wanted to whisper something to comfort Evelyn, but before she could say anything, the aftereffects of the healing magic came roaring back. Her vision suddenly went dark and she lost consciousness.

When Violet opened her eyes again, she saw a dim scene illuminated by lights.

It was already dark outside the window, and what came into view was not the cramped decoration of a tent, but an exquisitely decorated bedroom.

Evelin had been guarding Vilt's bedside. When she woke up, Evelin immediately brought a glass of warm water over and asked, "Would you like some water?"

"Yeah." Vert nodded, feeling her current physical condition - the wound had mostly healed and it didn't hurt much anymore. Her shoulders, collarbones and neck were all wrapped in gauze, and her shoulders, arms and back felt noticeably sore and swollen.

"How long have I been unconscious?" Vilt asked as Evelyn helped her sit up. She refused Evelyn's delicate move to put a pillow behind her back.

"You slept for two whole days." Evelyn said, observing Vilt's expression and complexion. After making sure that she didn't feel any discomfort, Evelyn told Vilt what happened after she fell into a coma.

After Violet fell unconscious, Evelyn didn't let anyone touch her. She used magic to set up a magical barrier to trap Violet and then dealt with Luke.

At first, Bandusili wanted to plead for Luke, but considering Evelyn's true strength revealed along the way, Bandusili chose to remain silent.

Evelyn's approach was gentler.

She didn't kill Luke herself, but instead summoned a winged beast of her own, allowing Luke to experience what Violet had gone through. However, Evelyn didn't know where the winged beast would take Luke, and she didn't intend to set a destination.

After dealing with Luke, Evelyn parted ways with the mercenary team, used the teleportation talisman on her body to bring Violet to the town, and chose the most expensive hotel to stay in.

During the two days that Vilt was in a coma, Evelyn also consulted doctors and other healing magicians. They all said that Vilt was fine because she was treated in time. She was in a coma because she was too tired and her body needed rest.

These words didn't completely comfort Evelin, but they did allow her to wait for Violet to wake up with less worry.

“Fortunately, you don’t want to make me wait too long.” Evelyn stared intently into Violet’s eyes as she said this.

In the wild, if a monster stared at her eyes, she would think it was a provocation. But now Evelyn's gaze was so scorching that she wanted to escape. She couldn't judge Evelyn's gaze as a provocation, but this gaze made Vilt instinctively feel danger.

She could only avoid it by pretending to drink water.

Evelyn watched Violet's various reactions with a smile. Even when she was avoiding Evelyn, she still thought she was very cute.

Thinking of this, Evelyn subconsciously touched her collar. There was a space medal pinned on her collar. Everything Violet gave Evelyn was stored in it.

"Let's rest for a few more days before setting off again."

"Okay." Violet nodded.

Violet rested for three more days.

The soreness in my body has subsided a lot in the past three days, and I can even walk.

However, the wound on her shoulder had not yet healed. Evelyn treated Violet like a glass figure, as if she would shatter if she took one more step.

On the sixth day of staying in the town, Bandusli's mercenary team also came out of the Flo Forest. They didn't know where they got the news from, but the first thing they did after coming out of the forest was to come to the hotel and apologize to Vilt.

While recovering from her injuries, Violet no longer maintained her disguise.

Her slightly curly hair came out of her hat and draped loosely over her shoulders. Her face looked much cleaner, and the sense of desolation had completely disappeared. Her body curves were not concealed at all. The only thing that remained unchanged was the sense of alienation revealed in Violet's dark green eyes when she looked at people.

Evelyn was pouring water for Vilt when the mercenaries arrived.

Princess Evelyn, who had more than ten people serving her in the palace for food, clothing, housing and transportation, was now actually serving water to people herself. If Her Majesty the Queen knew about this, she would probably cry even harder than when the dragon came.

But Evelin enjoyed it, and if Violet hadn't refused, she would have wanted to feed Violet the medicine herself.

Bandusli was a little surprised to see Violet on the bed. Her face was the same, but her body contours and temperament were completely different. She had met many people, but this was the first time she had been deceived by Violet.

Bandusli wasn't too surprised, though; it wasn't unusual for ordinary people to disguise themselves when out and about. But Sophia, with all her romantic dreams in mind, suddenly widened her eyes the moment she saw Vilt. She repeated the question in disbelief, then, disregarding social etiquette, ran away, heartbroken and heartbroken.

"I'm sorry, you know. Her Highness Sophia's emotions come and go quickly." Bandusli had just received a huge reward from Sophia. Faced with a generous employer, she never hesitated to use her ability to clean up the mess.

Bandusli gestured to the mercenary who came with her to place the things in his hands on the table beside him. "These wound medicines and supplements were prepared by Her Highness Sophia."

After saying that, Bandusli pulled out something like a medal from her pocket. On it was a bear painted in gold paint. "This is an apology from our mercenary team. If you need anything, take this medal to the mercenary guild in any city. No matter where my mercenary team is, we will respond as quickly as possible and do anything for you unconditionally."

This apology was sincere, but it was of little use to Vilt - a human mercenary team would be of no help in solving a problem that the dragon found difficult to solve.

However, Violet still accepted the medal that Bandusli handed to her. If she didn't accept it, Bandusli would probably find other things to apologize for, which would be unnecessary.

After taking the medal, Vilt's clothes had no pockets, so she handed the medal to Evelyn who had been beside her. Evelyn stretched out her hand with a smile, and after Vilt put down the medal, she bent her fingers and hooked them on her palm, and then pinched her fingertips.

It seemed to be just an unconscious movement of bending the index finger, but the contact between the palm and the fingertips still made Violet's back numb.

Evelin seemed unaware and just smiled at Violet.

Seeing Violet accept the medal, Bandusili breathed a sigh of relief. Later, seeing Evelin and her every move, Bandusili's eyes flashed with understanding. She said, "Then we won't bother you. Just take good care of yourself."

“Goodbye.” Although she was still holding the things Bandusili had sent her, Evelin immediately stood up and saw the guest off very quickly, without any intention of trying to keep her.

Sophia was no longer introverted towards the door. She didn't know when she turned around, her eyes fixed on Violet and Evelyn. However, when Bandusli said she wanted to leave, Sophia didn't react at all.

"Your Highness, prepare to leave." Thinking that Sophia was immersed in her own emotions and did not hear the conversation clearly, Bandusli said again.

"You guys go first, I have something to say to...her." Sophia pursed her lips. She knew that White was a fake name, but she didn't know the other person's real name.

Violet had no intention of introducing herself again, nor was she curious about what Sophia had to say to her.

"Your Highness Sophia, you can tell me anything. I know everything about Violet." Evelyn spoke slowly, her smiling eyes full of warnings.

Sophia looked back without flinching, "But I don't want to tell you."

"Your Highness." Bandusli stopped Sophia and Evelyn from clashing. Although she was a princess of a country, it was not a wise move to confront a high-level magician in another country.

Sophia was looking at Violet seriously at this moment. She knew clearly that the person in front of her was a woman. However, looking at her face which was exactly the same as White's, her unruly temperament was washed away, and the gauze wrapped around her neck made her look particularly fragile.

Sophia's heart still beats faster when she looks at Violet.

"I want to talk to Sophia." Motioning Evelyn to sit down on the bed, Violet whispered in her ear.

"I don't think she has anything serious to say." Evelyn said somewhat dissatisfiedly, but she just expressed her emotion and continued, "Just two sentences."

Seeing her being so meticulous, Vilt thought Evelin was a little cute. Because of this feeling, Evelin grabbed Vilt's hand, which was placed aside, and she didn't dodge. "Are you going to count at the door?"

“I thought you would be soft-hearted and let me stay in the house,” Evelyn accuses in a low voice.

Violet laughed.

“Two sentences.” Evelin said emphatically, then stood up and left with Bandusili. She considerately remembered to close the door of the room.

Sophia waited until she and Violet were the only ones left in the room before she slowly walked to the bed.

She had just found a random excuse to stay, and she had nothing to say to Vilt. Especially after seeing Evelin and Vilt talking just now, Sophia felt even more confused.

Sophia was already worried about Vilt's injury, and now that she knew she was a woman, she was drawn to her beauty and aura. For a moment, Sophia felt relieved, because if Vilt were a woman, her previous speculation about the relationship between "White" and Evelyn would be nonsense. But then she saw the two of them being so affectionate, holding hands and whispering together, their harmony making it impossible for anyone else to exist.

not to mention……

Violet looked at Sophia's changing expression in front of her, and for a long time she couldn't say a word, "Your Highness, you..."

Before Violet could finish her words, Sophia woke up from a dream. She looked at Violet with a complicated expression and a sour tone, "You really love her. Even after she was captured by the monster, you still remembered to help her dig for magic crystals."

Sophia's words were incoherent, and Violet was stunned for a moment when she heard them. She caught another word -

Love...is this also love?
