"I didn't call her back."
“I already said, next time I call her, I’ll call her supervisor directly,” Gao Jinfeng replied.
Sang Feiyu's eyes darted around. "Then let's wait until your husband comes back. You two must discuss it carefully, otherwise if your sister-in-law says a few words to your husband, he'll change his mind again."
"Some men are stubborn in front of their wives, but become soft-hearted when they are with their families."
Sang Feiyu was reminding Gao Jinfeng to go home and give her husband a good talking-to, lest he be easily swayed and let his sister-in-law make a fuss over nothing.
"Ever since my mother-in-law came, the atmosphere in our house has been terrible."
"My husband tells me to be considerate of his mother's advanced age and the hardships she has endured, but who will be considerate of me?"
“I finally raised my child with great difficulty, and now that the child doesn’t need anyone else to take care of him, the four of us are living a good life. But my mother-in-law actually came here to retire. Isn’t this bullying?”
"My mom has been supporting me financially and physically, but she hasn't come here to retire!"
Once Gao Jinfeng starts complaining about her mother-in-law, she never stops.
If time and energy permit, she can talk for three days and three nights.
It must be said that the biased and mean-spirited mother-in-law had a very serious impact on their marriage.
Sang Feiyu thought that there must be another reason why Gao Jinfeng was dissatisfied with her mother-in-law: that her mother-in-law treated her two children unfairly.
The mother-in-law gives her daughter money and effort, and the daughter gets all the benefits. Now that she can't work anymore, she comes to live with her son to take care of her. Who would want to be a sucker like that?
After pondering for a moment, Sang Feiyu actually came up with a solution. "Sister Jin Feng, I have a suggestion. Would you like to hear it and see if it works?"
Gao Jinfeng's eyes lit up. "Go ahead."
“From now on, you only need to take care of yourself and your two children. Your husband is so old and still lives with his mother. He hasn’t been weaned yet, so let him continue to drink milk.”
"If he has any problems, just tell him to go to his mother."
"You treat them with indifference, making them feel like they're punching cotton."
Gao Jinfeng clapped excitedly, "If I get angry and lose my temper, my mother-in-law will find something to talk about and spread bad things about me everywhere."
"But if I ignore them, or if I do acknowledge them, I do it in a lukewarm way, treating them like they're invisible, that's how I can infuriate them to the core, and they can't do anything about it!"
Sang Feiyu nodded, "Yes, that's it."
Having received guidance from a master, Gao Jinfeng couldn't wait to go back and try her hand at it.
When Li Cuilan saw her return, she said sarcastically, "You're on holiday, yet you're running around all day without even sweeping the yard."
Gao Jinfeng didn't even glance at Li Cuilan before going straight back to her room to sleep.
Li Cuilan was furious at this neglect. Standing at the door of Gao Jinfeng's room, she cursed and said, "Someone like you, if my son hadn't gone blind, would I have even fallen for you?"
"You have no sense at all! You don't even greet me when you see me. Do you even respect me as your mother-in-law?"
"If you keep being this lazy, I won't tolerate you in this house anymore!"
Gao Jinfeng was so surprised by her mother-in-law's words that her mouth could fit an egg.
Her mother-in-law usually puts on a show, always acting as if she's been greatly wronged, but today she was so angry that she finally showed her true colors.
She even said she couldn't tolerate her in this family. Has Li Cuilan lost her mind?
This is her own home!
It has absolutely nothing to do with Li Cuilan!
No matter how angry Gao Jinfeng was, she didn't refute him. She let it go in one ear and out the other, letting Li Cuilan stand at the door and curse as she pleased.
