Lin Ying didn't understand what he meant by her family's special circumstances, but she didn't mind that she couldn't go out: "Okay, okay. I'll call Director Wu again, and that's all."
It wasn't until Lin Ying was sent back to her family home that she understood what Zhang Shanlin meant by "special circumstances."
She and the children got out of the car and saw a scene of utter devastation outside. Even though it had snowed, it was clear that something terrible had happened here.
Having probably heard the commotion outside, Li Yue'e came out and saw Lin Ying preparing to go inside. She quickly called out to her.
"Don't go in! There's a big bug in your house!"
"A big worm?"
As Lin Ying was speaking, she saw two half-grown tigers run out of the door of her shed, which was originally locked but was now open.
Whenever he sees Lin Ying, he instinctively throws himself at her.
"Ahhh, girl, get out of the way!!!"
As she spoke, Li Yue'e ran over with her things. Then she saw Lin Ying holding Er Ya in one arm and carrying two tigers in her other arm.
What are you doing here?
Li Yue'e suddenly stopped, but because there was ice under her feet, she slid forward half a meter before finally coming to a stop.
"This tiger doesn't eat people?"
Lin Ying said, "This tiger's mother is raised by a farmer on the mountain. She doesn't eat people. In fact, she helps drive away the wolves in the vicinity. Sister-in-law, haven't you noticed that there are very few wolves around here?"
Hearing Lin Ying's words, Li Yue'e suddenly realized, "It seems that's true. No wonder the army didn't send anyone to remove this thing. My husband kept saying that this thing doesn't eat people and told me not to worry. How can we not worry?"
"But girl, your house was almost burgled the other night. These two tigers suddenly appeared, and then two more big tigers showed up. It scared you so much you fainted."
Lin Ying guessed that they might be looking for the booklet: "It's alright, sister-in-law. These two little guys know me very well. They probably came because they knew that there were outsiders with ill intentions in my house."
But what about the person who fainted?
Li Yue'e said, "I'm not too sure about that. Oh dear, I can't talk to you anymore, I'm going to be late for work. Xiao Shuai, Xiao Qiang, hurry up. We're going to be late for school."
Lin Ying couldn't help but ask curiously, "Sister-in-law, does Xiao Shuai also have to go to school?"
Li Yue'e was overjoyed: "The Second Factory has a staff kindergarten. We had only been working there for a short time when they helped us get in. Now my son Xiaoshuai and Gao Chunhua's son Anzi both go to kindergarten together."
Now I don't have to worry about the kids at home.
Lin Ying was also happy for the two of them: "That's wonderful. Didn't you say before that you would call your mother-in-law to come and see the baby?"
Li Yue'e pouted: "She said it's too cold here and she wants to come back in the summer. If I could wait until summer, would I need her to come? Oh well, I won't ask her for anything now. It's good that there's no one else nagging at home."
Lin Ying nodded: "Now that Xiao Shuai is in school, you can rest assured a lot."
Li Yue'e smiled and said, "That's right. Sister, you don't know, I have to thank you so much for giving me this opportunity."
When they arrived at the factory, the workers, upon learning that they had gotten the job through Lin Ying's connections, treated them exceptionally well. Moreover, their benefits were much better than those of the other temporary workers. All this treatment was thanks to Lin Ying.
Lin Ying said with a laugh, "Sister-in-law, please don't say that. I did receive money, it's not like I gave it to you for nothing."
As they spoke, Xiao Shuai and Xiao Qiang came out of the room.
After saying goodbye to Lin Ying, Li Yue'e left with her two children.
After Li Yue'e left, Lin Ying carried Er Ya and walked with the two little ones into the room.
The marks on the door were clearly man-made.
Lin Ying made a "dog hole" behind the thatched shed, in a place where the tigers often entered. She had brought the tigers in here a few times before. She did this because she was worried that the tigers wouldn't be able to get in if they needed her help.
So all four tigers knew how to get inside through that door.
Looking at the marks around her, Lin Ying could easily guess that the person had been pounced on by the two tiger cubs as soon as they opened the door.
Looking at the marks near the chimney, Lin Ying patted the heads of the two tigers: "Have you been guarding this place for the past two days?"
"Awoo~"
"Awoo~ Awoo~"
Lin Ying was deeply moved: "Come on, come in with me, I'll get you some water."
Sure enough, there was no sign that the lock on the back door had been tampered with.
