Chapter 80 No Debt to Each Other

Feng Yunzhou pressed the tip of his tongue against the side of his cheek, and the pain on his face clearly showed how much force Shi Wan had used.

Shi Wan glared at him with bloodshot eyes, her anger causing her chest to heave even more violently.

For so many years, he has never raised his voice to her, except for a year ago, perhaps out of genuine anger or hatred for his own selfishness.

His Wanwan used to be a gentle and sweet little girl who would lie in his arms and act coquettishly, clinging to him for a hug when she was happy, and secretly hiding in a corner to cry when she was sad. It turns out she had been pretending all along.

Is it because of Lu Jingyan?

Thinking of this, Feng Yunzhou's eyes grew even colder, and the empty corridor was eerily quiet.

He then looked up at Shi Wan and said, "Xiao Wan, back then you had a child with Lu Jingyan behind my back. Do you think you did right by me?"

"Zhiyu and I grew up together, and I've never touched him. What about you? You were lying under Lu Jingyan when you were with me. How could you do this to me?"

Shi Wan's eyes instantly turned cold. She looked at Feng Yunzhou in disbelief, "Feng Yunzhou, I was blind back then and couldn't see through you, you beast!"

“Heh…heh…” Feng Yunzhou sneered, “Wanwan, you weren’t like this back then when you were shy and bashful under me, your red lips slightly parted as you wanted me.”

"It's just a child. If it's gone, it's gone. Even if it hadn't been miscarried, I would have killed it sooner or later."

"Wanwan, what he can give you, I can also give you. The way you look under me is truly, incredibly beautiful."

Feng Yunzhou looked at her with a deep, enigmatic expression, a meaningful smile playing on his lips.

"Shameless!" Shi Wan trembled almost all over when she heard his last words. Her past shame made her gather all her strength in her right hand.

With a snap, the palm print that had just faded from Feng Yunzhou's face reappeared.

He touched his face where he had just been slapped, and looked at Shi Wan with eyes full of possessiveness. "Xiao Wan, come back to me. We can have children. We'll go abroad together, and I'll never hurt you again."

"Hmph! Hurt? Feng Yunzhou, you've hurt me with far more than just these things." Shi Wan's disgust and mockery became even more obvious.

"Xiao Wan, I will make it up to you..."

"Enough!" Shi Wan refused to look at him anymore.

"You've hurt me enough. Over the years, you've woven countless lies and promises, and what have you given me in return? Because of you, I lost my chance to stand on the stage; because of you, our child is gone. It's all your fault! Feng Yunzhou, you killed our child!"

Shi Wan's eyes reddened as she glared fiercely at Feng Yunzhou. "Back then, I was young and thought you would be my best choice. After my parents passed away, you gave me false warmth, making me think that I could rely on you from now on."

"Later, when you returned to China, you said you would keep your promise. That night, I asked you about Lin Zhiyu. Do you remember what you said to me? That was a living, breathing child! That was our child! Why? Why do you keep coming back to tear open my wounds!"

Shi Wan's angry rebuke echoed throughout the entire floor.

Time seemed to stand still for a few seconds. Feng Yunzhou's previously fierce expression gradually hardened. "What did you say?"

"Feng Yunzhou, that's my child! How can you make it up to me? Because of you, I'll never be able to have children again. How dare you stand here and criticize me!" Shi Wan gripped the window frame, her fingers trembling with the sharp pain in her heart.

Feng Yunzhou seemed to realize something, and suddenly grabbed Shi Wan's wrist, his eyes reddening, "Whose child is it? Whose is it?"

Shi Wan didn't want to look at her anymore. She shook off her hand that was gripping hers, turned around, and said coldly, "Go away. Don't let me see you again. I feel disgusted every time I see you."

"Back then, you were desperate to get back your fiancée, and you even went to great lengths to find traces of her in me, all for a ridiculous promise you made when you were young."

"How much have I changed for you over the years, and what have you compromised for me?"

"Back then, I begged you to come home and give me an explanation, but you didn't. What I got in return was endless emotional abuse. Even after the press conference was held, I still chose to believe you."

"Do you remember the night Jiang Le had the accident? Do you know how many wounds I had? Did you even think about me when you were in that cold, empty house? It was our child, but you left me there alone for someone else. Do you know how much pain I was in that night?"

"I was waiting for you at the hospital, and all you did was call to tell me we were breaking up."

Shi Wan stared coldly at the ground, her tone unusually calm.

Feng Yunzhou let go dejectedly, his expression as he looked at Shi Wan was as forlorn as a trapped beast.

He wanted to say something, but he couldn't utter a word, as if someone were choking him.

“Feng Yunzhou, that’s enough. I’ve sacrificed so much for you, and all you do is endlessly search for the shadow of your fiancée in me. If you loved me, you should have kept your word when I risked my marriage and future to come back to China with you, but you didn’t.”

“We owe each other nothing. There are people here who love me and people I love, and you have no right to disturb me and my loved ones.”

Shi Wan's calm and indifferent tone made Feng Yunzhou feel uneasy.

Especially when she said the word "lover," Feng Yunzhou's heart told him that he had truly lost Xiao Wan forever, and he could never win back the little woman who once had his heart and soul completely devoted to him.

“Xiao Wan, I’m sorry. I didn’t know you were pregnant with our child back then. If you had come abroad with me, we could have had more children. If one wasn’t enough, we could have several more.”

Feng Yunzhou suddenly stared at Shi Wan with a strange look in his eyes.

Shi Wan turned away in annoyance. The few minutes she spent with him seemed to have drained all her energy for the day, and the fatigue made her feel nauseous.

She had just turned around when she saw Lu Jingyan standing at the end of the corridor, his posture upright. She didn't know when he had been standing there.

But she could tell that Lu Jingyan had already heard the whole conversation between the two. Lu Jingyan glanced at Feng Yunzhou with a deep look in his eyes and pursed his lips in disdain.

Looking at Shi Wanshi again, his gaze was tender and gentle, and then he stretched out his arms to her.

Shi Wan's heart skipped a beat. When she saw Lu Jingyan reach out his hand, the sadness in her eyes vanished instantly, and she instinctively ran towards him.

Before Shi Wan could even lift her foot, the man at the end of the corridor strode towards her.

In front of Feng Yunzhou, he pulled Shi Wan into his arms, his hand resting on her slender waist, while his other hand gently tidied the stray hairs on her forehead.

"Is it all done?" Shi Wan asked Lu Jingyan.

"Yes, I miss you." He then kissed her temple.

Shi Wan smiled slightly, wrapped her arms around Lu Jingyan's waist, and rested her head in his chest.

Shi Wan took a deep breath of the shower gel scent on the man's body, then closed her eyes, as if only at this moment could she relax.
