Side Story 1: Year After Year

Fu Yan winced in pain and groaned, "Brother, you..."

Xiao Xin blinked innocently: "Yes, I did it on purpose."

Fu Yan's current state of being humiliated gives him a sense of vengeful pleasure, and he even wants Fu Yan to bully more of him.

Who told Fu Yan to treat him so recklessly in the past?

Fu Yan wiped his face helplessly, trying to calm down.

Xiao Xin wasn't going to tease him anymore. He pulled his foot back and continued cutting his steak. "I'm not teasing you anymore, eat up."

He then added, "You need to be well-fed to have the energy."

Fu Yan felt that he was implying something, but he didn't call him out on it.

The consequence of Xiao Xin's boasting was that he begged for mercy in bed.

“I’m not coming anymore. Let go,” Xiao Xin said.

His hands were held above his head by Fu Yan, and his chest heaved up and down.

Fu Yan pinched his chin and lifted it slightly: "Are you still teasing me outside?"

Xiao Xin was so sleepy that his eyelids were drooping. He said lazily with his eyes closed, "I'm sleepy. We can talk about it tomorrow."

"Take a shower and go to sleep." Fu Yan released his chin and carried him into the bathroom.

Halfway through the shower, just as Xiao Xin was about to drift off to sleep with his eyes closed, Fu Yan pressed down on him from behind.

"Hiss..." Xiao Xin felt a sharp pain in his scalp and slammed his elbow back into his stomach.

Fu Yan grabbed his wrist and pressed him against the bathroom wall.

"Is this never going to end?" Xiao Xin was really annoyed.

Fu Yan kissed the back of his neck to comfort him, "Brother didn't answer me, so you can't sleep."

Even though he was the one who did the hard work, Xiao Xin looked more tired than him.

Xiao Xin's temples throbbed with frustration. "What did you say?"

"Are you still teasing me outside?" Fu Yan asked, resting her chin on his shoulder.

Xiao Xin: "It depends on my mood."

"Hmm?" Fu Yan clearly used more force.

Xiao Xin curled his fingertips, revealing the blue veins on the back of his fair hand.

"Speak, brother." Fu Yan bit his earlobe to keep him from falling asleep.

Xiao Xin felt dizzy and disoriented. It seemed that Fu Yan wasn't going to let him off the hook if he didn't speak up.

Xiao Xin gave a helpless smile. "You really aren't afraid of messing with me to death, are you?"

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing," Fu Yan said confidently.

“Fine,” Xiao Xin said, starting to take a stand, “we’ll see.”

The two of them inexplicably started arguing, which Fu Yan found strange, but he didn't want to delve into it.

He changed the subject, "In these three years, you really haven't thought about me?"

“Fu Yan…” Xiao Xin’s voice suddenly softened.

Fu Yan's heart softened involuntarily. "Hmm?"

As expected, Fu Yan was only responsive to gentle persuasion. Xiao Xin seemed to have grasped his weakness and continued, "I'm really tired, you should hurry up and... finish this."

Seeing that he really couldn't hold on any longer, Fu Yan finished quickly and carried Xiao Xin out of the bathroom.

He had only put Xiao Xin on the bed for two minutes when he heard her even breathing.

Fu Yan wasn't sleepy. He lay on his side facing Xiao Xin, tracing the outline of Xiao Xin's facial features with his fingertips.

He had taken photos of Xiao Xin sleeping, and he would take them out to look at them whenever he thought of Xiao Xin.

But comparing photos to the real person, touching his face feels more authentic.

Fu Yan touched Xiao Xin's face with his fingertips, and the joy in his heart trembled with his fingertips.

"Brother, we'll always be together, right?" Fu Yan asked cautiously, looking at Xiao Xin's sleeping face.

Xiao Xin mumbled sleepily, "Um, yes..."

Fu Yan smiled and pulled Xiao Xin into his arms again. "Yes, that's enough."

He finally embraced his whole world again.
