Chapter 43 Violet Alis volat…

Chapter 43 Violet Alis volat…

There were no night shoots during this period, and the crew could wrap up at six o'clock. Wen Siyu's video calls usually came at nine o'clock.

The timing was quite clever.

If she behaves herself, she would have finished tidying up by now and be resting in her room.

If you're restless, that's when your interest is piqued, and you'll likely get caught doing something bad.

Ji Jiazhen would apply the medicine while video chatting with him. She lacked patience and applied the medicine perfunctorily, just smearing it on and calling it a day. Wen Siyu made her ensure that every step was done properly, and that she had to apply a hot compress for fifteen minutes after applying the ointment for it to heal faster.

The heat patch wasn't easy to peel off, and coupled with her menstrual period, she was more emotional than usual. She was noticeably irritable when applying the medicine, and after trying twice without success, she got annoyed and wanted to give up. Wen Siyu could only coax her and say things to cheer her up. She tried twice more, tearing off all four corners, but still couldn't peel it off.

She immediately threw the hot compress on the ground, said it was annoying, said she didn't want to use it anymore, said she was hanging up, and then she actually hung up the video call.

She called again shortly after, but refused to show her face and asked him listlessly where he had put the painkillers.

Wen Siyu immediately forgot Fang Wei's words, and while telling her which bag contained the medicine, he opened the flight ticket interface and said, "I'm coming back."

Ji Jiazhen then showed him half her face, telling him to stay obediently in City A.

He had no choice but to entertain her on his phone and try to distract her, so he asked her to turn the camera on so he could see her room.

"You've already forgotten what my room looks like after just two days?"

She did exactly what she was told, not only flipping the camera but also showing him the surroundings so he could see clearly.

"Okay, no one came back."

Ji Jiazhen wanted to hit him because of his smug smile.

He even started checking up on people's posts.

Wen Siyu asked her to show him her bag again, but she was too lazy to move. Even picking up her phone felt tiring. She lay on the bed, let go, and the phone fell into the blanket. Before the camera could turn back, his screen suddenly went black, and he heard her voice: "What do you want to investigate now?"

"Check if you've quit smoking."

She didn't move, and replied lazily, "No cigarettes."

After a moment of silence, he said, "Let me look at you."

The screen shook, and her face appeared on the screen.

The medication gradually took effect; the lower abdominal pain persisted, and drowsiness washed over her, causing her to close her eyes.

Wen Siyu's tone was indescribably casual: "Go to sleep, I'll hang up after you fall asleep."

Ji Jiazhen didn't reply. She put her phone next to her pillow, covered her stomach with her hand, and heard Wen Siyu softly say goodnight before she fell asleep completely.

Filming was scheduled to continue until the end of August when Xia Xun had to go abroad for ten days due to unforeseen circumstances, forcing a halt to filming.

Ji Jiazhen didn't tell Wen Siyu about this. She went back without saying a word and headed straight to his house with her luggage.

While in the elevator, I was thinking about what to say as my first words. My fingertips were itching, and my heart was actually beating faster as the elevator went up.

Before she could come to a conclusion, the elevator doors opened, and she unexpectedly ran into Wen Siyu, who was about to go downstairs.

He was completely stunned. When he saw her, his mind went blank, and he forgot to speak. He raised his left eyebrow, stood outside the elevator looking at her, and his face said, "What the hell are you doing here?"

Ji Jiazhen didn't say anything, but raised an eyebrow at him, as if to say, "Say something."

The two remained motionless for a long time; the only sound they made was the elevator door about to close.

The machine started making a mechanical noise, and when it was halfway shut off, Wen Siyu reached out to stop it, and then came in.

Ji Jiazhen was embraced by him, pulled back two steps by his strength, and then he held her head and kissed her passionately. She returned the kiss, hugged his neck, and wished she could hang her whole body on him.

Her thinking was superfluous; she didn't say a word until she entered the room.

Wen Siyu didn't give her a chance to speak at all, nor did he say anything; his words were all conveyed through his actions.

First, he carried her to the cabinet and made her sit down to kiss him, then took off his shirt. Next, he led her to the sofa and unbuttoned her pants.

The first time was when he pinned her down on the carpet. We were both in a hurry, and before she had even taken off her clothes, her waistband was hanging on her legs, and two strands of hair were pressed under her back, pulling her scalp painfully. The sudden union made her gasp.

It had been so long since he had done it, and Wen Siyu poured all his thoughts into this first time today.

During the transition, he hugged her, kissed her, and asked, "Why did you come back?"

Ji Jiazhen looked up and replied, "I want to do it."

Wen Siyu automatically understood her original meaning: "I miss you too."

After that, he became more talkative, whispering in her ear while he was doing things to her. At first, he was serious, saying how much he loved her, how he couldn't sleep every night because he thought about her, and how he wanted to do this until he died.

That's where things started to go astray. Each sentence became more and more suggestive, making even a seasoned veteran like Ji Jiazhen blush. He covered the man's mouth with his hand, but it wasn't meant to shut him up at all; it was more like he was just leaving the man there for him to kiss.

He said it again, and she liked listening to it.

*

As night fell, Ji Jiazhen knelt on the bed to put on her underwear. Wen Siyu came out of the bathroom, walked to the bedside, and casually pulled out a strand of hair that was stuck under her shoulder strap.

They both have two more shows to attend tonight.

Wen Siyu was about to leave in front of the elevator. The car accident three years ago hadn't taught him a lesson; he still dared to accept the invitation to go street racing. Ji Jiazhen was quite interested, mainly wanting to see what kind of racing they were doing.

Wen Siyu led her down to the garage and let her choose a car to drive later. She was quite good at picking, pointing to the most expensive one.

Two hours later, they arrived at the group of people, all of whom were Wen Siyu's usual friends. They were not surprised to see Ji Jiazhen, as they all knew that Wen Siyu's world revolved around her.

There was a girl named Shi Kuang who was quite the charmer and had a sweet tongue. She called Ji Jiazhen "goddess" and "sister," making Ji Jiazhen laugh non-stop. In the end, Wen Siyu even got a little jealous and dragged her into the car, not letting Shi Kuang talk to her.

They're going to have a match; it doesn't matter who wins, the main thing is who loses.

Ji Jiazhen wanted to experience it, so she naturally had to get in the car. She didn't drive; she sat in the passenger seat next to Wen Siyu.

Wen Siyu is a competitive person who goes all out when he's racing and has always been a winner. But with her in the passenger seat today, he doesn't care about this bullshit race anymore; her safety and having fun are more important.

As soon as the race started, he drove leisurely with her favorite song, "Too Many Nights," playing in the car.

The passenger window was open, and the wind made Ji Jiazhen's hair flutter wildly as her body swayed to the rhythm of the music.

Wen Siyu looked over, at her carefree laughter, at her clean and beautiful profile, at the clothes he had bought for her, and at the city night view that complemented her figure.

He felt his life had been worthwhile.

He accelerated on a safe stretch of road to let her experience the thrill of speed.

The roar, the intense push-back feeling, and the sense of freedom that made Ji Jiazhen scream out loud. Her heart rate hadn't even stopped when the car slowed down. It was exhilarating, but when Wen Siyu asked her if she wanted to do it again, she refused.

Once is enough; she doesn't like the feeling of her heart constantly floating in the air.

The result of the competition was obvious: Wen Siyu was the last one to arrive, but he lost willingly.

Being liked by Ji Jiazhen is like winning the whole world.

*

The consequence of losing is that they have to pay the price for their second match.

In a bar with deafening music, Wen Siyu booked the entire place and introduced Ji Jiazhen to all his friends in the industry.

He introduced her to everyone he was close to and even those he wasn't particularly close to, completely opening himself up to her. After the introductions, he told her she didn't need to remember these people, just him.

Ji Jiazhen was in a good mood and drank one glass of wine after another. Eventually, he was no longer satisfied with just a glass and started chugging straight from the bottle, successfully getting himself drunk.

Her conversation with Shi Kuang was interrupted by Wen Siyu, but they resumed at the bar. The two chatted enthusiastically, as if they were kindred spirits who had known each other for a long time, and quickly became best friends, even putting their arms around each other's shoulders and talking badly about Wen Siyu.

After greeting everyone, Wen Siyu finally found Ji Jiazhen and saw her talking to Shi Kuangtou head to head. They were practically kissing when they turned their heads to the side. Wen Siyu was furious.

He stepped over the knees of the two women, pulled them apart, sat between them, kissed Ji Jiazhen on the lips, and then turned to drink with Shi Kuang.

Shi Kuang was just one step away from passing out drunk when Wen Siyu kicked him from behind, knocking him down in no time.

He snatched the wine from Ji Jiazhen's hand and took her to a corner before she blacked out. He made her put her legs on his lap, her shoulders against his, and spoke to her face-to-face.

Her face was flushed, her eyes were bright, and you could tell at a glance that she had a lot on her mind.

He asked her what she and Shi Kuang talked about, but she shook her head and covered her mouth with her hand.

He asked her if she was happy tonight, and she said she was happy, especially happy.

He asked if she was still being stubborn, and she said she wasn't, then kissed him and said she was being gentle.

He couldn't hold back any longer, pressed her head down and kissed her. After kissing her, he breathlessly said, "How can you be so cute? How can I love you so much?"

He asked her if she loved him, and she said she loved him a little.

He then asked if she would stay with him, and she burped.

He said you're trying to drive me crazy.

Ji Jiazhen was incapable of thinking at that moment. After hearing what he said, he grinned foolishly, not knowing what he was laughing at.

While everyone was having a great time, Wen Siyu coaxed and tricked her into going to another place.

It was in an alley, and finding this place in City A was really difficult. At the end of the dark alley was a tattoo shop with no sign or name; if it weren't for the lights on, you wouldn't even know it was open.

Ji Jiazhen was carried by Wen Siyu to the shop, where he placed her on a recliner. She was a little sober now and knew what she was doing, but she was just lazy and didn't want to exert herself.

There was only one tattoo artist in the shop, with a cold and aloof demeanor and a sharp profile.

Ji Jiazhen stared intently at the man, saying, "You're so handsome, you have such style. Let's exchange contact information so I can communicate with you if anything goes wrong after the tattoo."

Wen Siyu covered her eyes with his hands and said fiercely to her, "Just find me, and I'll pass on the message."

They got their tattoos done all night. Both of them got theirs done. Ji Jiazhen went first, and when Wen Siyu got his, she was already fast asleep. She woke up once in the middle of the night and heard him bragging to the tattoo artist, saying, "This is my girlfriend." She shouted out with her eyes closed, "I didn't say I was with you," and then fell asleep again the next second.

She didn't even know how she got home. Wen Siyu had done something bad to her while she was asleep. Her whole body ached, and she felt like her bones were about to fall apart.

The first thing she did when she woke up was to slap him to wake him up. Then she started to pry him away, trying to get him to take a picture of her so she could see her tattoo.

Wen Siyu, struggling to stay awake, picked up her phone. She knelt on the bed, lifted her skirt, revealing the thin straps on both sides of her panties. Wen Siyu didn't rush to take a picture, but lay there admiring herself for a few seconds, thinking she was incredibly sexy.

Ji Jiazhen urged him on, and he raised his hand to take a picture of her. After taking the picture, he rubbed her waist and started to feel it.

Ji Jiazhen picked up her phone to look at the tattoo. Wen Siyu had taken a pretty good photo; the composition and lighting were excellent, and with her figure and tattoo, she almost wanted to post it on a public platform for everyone to see.

The tattoo is on the left side of her lower back, where her waist meets her hip.

A horizontal thorn bush, with a string of Spanish proverbs below.

【Alis volat propriis】

She flies on her own wings.

After admiring the photos, she asked him where his tattoos were and what they were.

She tried to find the tattoo by twisting his neck and pulling his arm, but couldn't. She started to doubt and said, "You don't have a tattoo, do you?"

Wen Siyu opened his eyes slightly, a smile playing on his lips, pulled off the blanket, and lifted his clothes, allowing her to see the design of his tattoo.

"What is this thing?"

This was her reaction upon seeing it.

His tattoo was utterly devoid of beauty; it was more like a chaotic mess, a jumble of messy lines.

"So ugly."

This is her second evaluation.

Wen Siyu laughed and said, "You don't remember anything at all?"

"Remember what?"

He pointed to a tattoo, looking quite pleased with himself.

"You drew it."

Ji Jiazhen was bewildered. "When did I draw this?"

Last night, after I drank too much, he took me to a corner and gave me a pen to draw on his arm.

He didn't say why he was drawing it. She was drunk and just did whatever he was told, so she just drew randomly. Who knew he would get it tattooed?

"It looks pretty good."

She stared at it for a few more seconds.

no.

I still think it's ugly.

It's really ugly.

"Are you crazy? Why did you get this tattoo?"

She picked up her phone, asking, "Can this be washed off?"

She searched: Can tattoos be removed completely?

Wen Siyu snatched the phone from her hand and pulled her down to lie next to him.

"I like this."

Because she drew it.

It is one of a kind in the whole world.

She herself couldn't even draw a second one that was exactly the same.

Chi Chia-chen poked at his tattoo and asked, "Why did you get it tattooed here?"

The placement looks pretty random, even more random than her drawing.

He took her hand and placed it on the tattoo.

"Here is the fourth rib."

The fourth rib is the closest to the heart.

Yes, it's the most indispensable rib.

*

Over the next two days, she went drinking with Wen Siyu three more times, deliberately wearing low-waisted pants that revealed a bit of her tattoo, making her look particularly alluring.

On the third day, they drank separately. He and Shi Kuang were locked in a drinking contest, and he would try to get him drunk every time they met. Shi Kuang couldn't hold his liquor, but he would find a helper, someone who could drink, and have Wen Siyu compete with him. Ji Jiazhen and Xu Yanning met up for a girls' night out, and they were both incredibly cunning. They didn't force each other to drink, but they hid the alcohol, secretly poured it out, and just didn't drink.

They drank until night, and she and Xu Yanning were sitting in the back seat of the car waiting for a designated driver when Wen Siyu called.

He was drunk today too; his voice sounded off, and he was clingy, bombarding her with questions. He asked if I was the most comfortable person she had ever slept with, and if I was her favorite.

While scrolling through her phone, Xu Yanning listened to their sweet talk, then deliberately shrugged and said, "You two are really disgusting."

Finally, he asked, "So what is our relationship now?"

As Ji Jiazhen was pondering what to say, Xu Yanning suddenly sat up and patted her leg. Ji Jiazhen looked over dismissively and asked what was wrong.

Xu Yanning didn't say a word, but showed her his phone.

On her phone was a video of her at Wen Siyu's house: she was standing, Wen Siyu was sitting, and they were tied with ropes.

The video went viral.
