The woman called Linda turned around, pointed the gun-shaped instrument at a stack of white paper, and with a light sweep, lines of text appeared between the pages.
"Extraordinary mental strength." Linda picked up the paper in surprise, her tone somewhat incredulous. "Her physical strength and power are just barely passing."
She couldn't help but scrutinize Cheng Shuang closely, her eyes filled with exploration. "With such data, her body hasn't collapsed. These invaders are truly amazing! They've completely surpassed the realm of normal humans."
Edren stepped forward, snatched the paper, and frowned. "Is this child really 12 years old?"
"Hmm!" Linda put her hand on Cheng Shuang's shoulder and felt around for a moment. "Judging from the bone age, she is indeed a child."
"The aggressors have never all been adults!"
"After all, it only appeared in the last few years. Our planet has been riddled with holes. Decades ago it was those big shots, now it's invaders. What difference does it make?"
Edren's face darkened. "The victor is king, the loser is villain. The invaders and the lord are just a matter of who came first! The lord got there first, so the invaders who came later can only suffer this treatment."
Linda gave a sneer. "In any case, the arrival of the invaders can alleviate some of our disaster."
Because Cheng Shuang was too quiet, or perhaps because they thought a child couldn't possibly cause any trouble, the two of them couldn't help but lower their guard a bit.
Therefore, the little girl was able to understand some of her current situation from the conversation.
Linda turned her back, put the report into a folder, and after a moment, she turned back tentatively and asked, "I want to keep this child with me to help..."
"Impossible!" Edren denied immediately, his face grim. "The master loves to see weaklings turn the tables. She's already being watched by people above."
