Do you remember me, Ninety-seventh?

His tone was cheerful and relaxed, and his eyes held an undisguised smile as he looked at her. Su Yushan couldn't help but begin to reflect: did she really mean what she said? After thinking it over, she still felt it was necessary to explain things to him clearly.

"The word 'dream' is just an exaggerated expression, representing shock, not a statement of fact."

Her earnest denials made Hongli chuckle, and he unconsciously raised his finger to lightly tap her delicate nose.

So, did you dream about me or not?

He kept pressing for an answer, but Su Yushan's bright eyes flickered, and with a slight smile, she threw the question back at him, "Guess."

"I don't want to guess, I want to hear you tell me, tell me yourself." As he spoke, Hongli's hand skillfully slipped through the back of her neck, wrapped around her slender shoulders, and pulled her into his arms. At the same time, he leaned in and brought his lips close to her soft lips.

Su Yushan raised her finger to block his approaching lips, her long, slender fingers separating them. "Hey---you still haven't answered me! Why are you here? Didn't you say it would be some time later?"

Mentioning this, Hongli turned and lay down, sighing softly, "I originally planned to stay with her for a few more days, but while I was in Lanyue Pavilion, my heart always drifted to Huatang Pavilion. Lying beside her, I was thinking of you, which felt a bit unfair to her and to you. So I thought, rather than being unfair to both of them, it would be better to just let one down."

Last night, he was worried that Gao Xiuwen would hold a grudge against Su Yushan, so he didn't go to Lanyue Pavilion at all tonight. After finishing his work, he went straight to Huatang Pavilion. As for what Gao Xiuwen would think, he couldn't care less.

After speaking, Hongli gazed at Su Yushan, a hint of unspoken worry in his eyes. "I've noticed... I seem to be liking you more and more. What should I do?"

Those few simple words softened Su Yushan's heart. The feeling of being cared for was incredibly warm. His breath was low and deep, caressing her ear, making her cheeks burn hotter and hotter, and even her voice trembled involuntarily.

"I...I don't know, I don't understand these things."

"Didn't you say you liked me? Haven't you ever experienced what it feels like to like someone? When I'm not around, don't you ever think about me?" He gently brushed his nose against her slightly reddened, delicate earlobe, complaining softly with a hint of dissatisfaction.

Forgive her for always being unable to resist this tingling, itchy feeling, and even feeling a little greedy. Su Yushan, who was nestled in his gentle embrace, half-closed her starry eyes and secretly sighed that things were not good. Hongli's words had clearly blocked her way out.

She had indeed said she liked him, but now she says she doesn't understand—that's clearly a contradiction! Having nowhere else to turn, she could only nod and chat idly:

"I vaguely remember dreaming about you, but I don't know if this counts as missing you."

"What did you dream about?" He deliberately emphasized a certain word, as if alluding to certain scenes. Su Yushan's ears turned red, and she said shyly, "I dreamed about some things that... cannot be described."

The more embarrassed she became, the more curious Hongli became about her dream. His voice was noticeably hoarse as he said, "But I want to hear your detailed description of what you dreamed about."

However, she claimed she didn't remember, saying, "Dreams are just hazy fragments; how can I remember them clearly?"

"Really?" Hongli didn't believe her nonsense. "If you really can't remember, why are you blushing?"

His lips brushed against her cheek, like a dragonfly skimming the water, warm and hot, burning with passion. The flames within him grew stronger, making him feel uneasy all over, as if only by embracing her and feeling her softness could he find some relief.

Sensing his change, Su Yushan was too embarrassed to open her eyes, and said timidly and reproachfully, "You've only been talking for a few words, and you're already daydreaming?"

"It's all your fault. I didn't want to disturb you because you were sleeping so soundly, so I just lay down next to you. But then you grabbed that purple dragon. How could I possibly stay calm?"

She had been somewhat dazed and had completely forgotten about it. Hearing his retelling, Su Yushan suddenly realized she had touched something she shouldn't have, and felt immediate remorse. Her eyelashes drooped, and she dared not look up, helplessly twirling her fingers as she softly tried to explain.

"Is it my fault? I didn't even know you were next to me in bed."

"Really? I thought you did it on purpose, that you just happened to grab it there." Hongli deliberately misinterpreted her words, causing her cheeks to flush red, like rosy clouds.

"I really didn't mean it, who would want to take advantage of you!"

She tried her best to clarify, which pleased Hongli greatly. He chuckled softly, "I like it. Try shaking it again."

"I don't want to!" Su Yushan huffed, turning her back to him and pouting her red lips. Unexpectedly, he leaned in and embraced her naturally, his warm lips whispering in her earlobe, his voice unusually low and husky, revealing his truest thoughts.

"Yushan, tell me, have you missed me? Do you want me to cherish you?"

At first, she really didn't want to, because it would be painful, so she was afraid. But after he became less domineering and treated her gently, she gradually began to appreciate the pleasure in it.

With no outsiders present, only the two of them, Su Yushan didn't deny it anymore. Mustering her courage, she softly hummed in agreement, "But..."

He only heard the first half of her sentence, but he smiled with satisfaction and, unable to hold back any longer, eagerly kissed her lips.

Su Yushan helplessly clutched his undergarment and protested softly, her lips uttering soft, fragmented sounds as if she wanted to tell him something.

Hongli, however, paid no heed, taking it as a feigned rejection. He closed his eyes, gradually losing himself in the rolling mountains, pushing through the leaves to find his way. Reaching a valley, just as he was about to act recklessly, he suddenly sensed something, abruptly stopped, and released the person in his arms.

"Are you having your period?"

Su Yushan, finally able to relax a bit, nodded. Hongli took a deep breath, buried his face in her shoulder, and sighed softly, "Why didn't you tell me? I was already at the ready..."

"I was about to say something, but you cut me off before I could finish."

"Do you know how much I've missed you? I've endured so much, and finally I'm by your side, but you're not available." Hongli sighed helplessly, even his breathing was suppressed.

Judging from his tone, he seemed disappointed. "Do you feel like you've come all this way for nothing?" Su Yushan felt a lump in her throat, slowly loosened her grip on his clothes, and after a long silence, said in a low voice:

"If you really can't stand it, you can go to another maid."

When did his little woman become so generous? This was the first time Hongli had ever heard Su Yushan tell him to go to someone else, and he couldn't help but wonder, "Is this what you really think?"

Does it matter whether it's sincere or not? Su Yushan's eyelashes trembled slightly. Without looking at him, she said in a muffled voice, "Then what can I do if you want it but I can't give it to you?"

Even though she had her eyelashes lowered, Hongli could tell that her eyes were already red, and he knew that this clever little devil was overthinking things again.

He gently ruffled her dark hair and chuckled, "I don't want women, I just want you!"
