The candlelight in the room flickered from time to time, illuminating the entire room brightly and clearly.
Lin Mo watched Su Mu slowly getting tipsy. Seeing the other party's dazed and well-behaved appearance, his heart skipped a beat. He subconsciously followed Su Mu's actions and licked the corner of his lips that smelled of alcohol.
The wine tastes so sweet today, he thought.
Su Mu drowsily cuddled up to Lin Sheng, who was also not very drunk. Both of them were starting to get a little drunk and began to talk about some strange topics with each other.
Fu Yanzhi rubbed his brow and said with a hint of drunkenness, "Although the taste of this rice wine is a bit bland, it has a strong aftertaste. After drinking so much, I'm starting to have trouble opening my eyes."
"Sir, you really can't drink much. You're already dizzy after just a few drinks. Look at my husband, his expression hasn't changed at all." Lao Gu burped twice and pulled Fu Yanzhi to see Lu Amo.
The two of them started drinking competition from the beginning, and Lu A'mo drank the most. Lu A'mo could drink more, and her eyes were clear, so she was obviously not drunk yet.
Lin Mo used his strength to quietly pull Su Mu, who was leaning almost half of her body against Lin Sheng's arms, into his arms and soothed her, "You're already drunk. You can't drink any more."
"Don't worry, I can still drink! This wine tastes sweet." Su Mu patted his chest and pointed at the wine glass, his face flushed: "Lin Mo, I want to drink a little more."
Lin Mo hugged him helplessly. Seeing that the other party's wine glass was pointing in the wrong direction, he knew that this guy was already drunk and couldn't tell the direction.
He nudged Lin Sheng, who was about to lie down on the table and get ready to sleep. "Brother, you're drunk too. Go back to your room and get some rest. Don't lie down in the living room and sleep. Otherwise, you'll wake up with sores all over your body tomorrow."
Lin Sheng opened his eyes drowsily, rubbed his hazy eyes, and nodded obediently after hearing Lin Mo's words: "I'll go to sleep now."
He staggered back to the room with floating steps. Without even taking off his shoes, he fell headfirst onto the bed and fell into a deep sleep.
Lin Mo looked back at Lao Gu and the others who were still forcing each other to drink. After calling Tuanzi to sleep, he was not stupid enough to take Su Mu away from the table.
Su Mu's legs were weak, and he was unsteady when he walked. He leaned most of his body on Lin Mo, and whispered softly, "Lin Mo... I want to drink a little bit more, just a little bit..."
"You can't drink anymore, little drunkard." Lin Mo hugged his soft little husband. Seeing that he was still struggling to drink, he simply held him in his arms and slowly walked into the room.
"Sit down for a while. I'll make you some hangover soup. Drink it before you go to sleep."
Worried that Su Mu would have a headache when he woke up the next day, Lin Mo planned to let him drink some sobering soup before going to sleep. He comforted Su Mu and made him sit at the head of his bed. Fearing that he could not sit steadily, he considerately provided him with a pillow.
But when he was about to get up and go out, Su Mu grabbed his sleeve tightly again. The little guy's eyes were shining, and there was a bright smile on the corner of his mouth, with a bit of shyness. Under the dim light, such an expression was particularly dazzling.
The little girl pouted, raised the corners of her eyes, and spoke in a softer tone than Lin Mo had ever heard: "Lin Mo, I don't want to drink the soup. Can I drink a little more, please?"
Lin Mo's heart trembled, and he felt his blood rushing up. It was the first time he felt Su Mu's dependence and coquettishness. It was so cute and so irresistible!
He took a few deep breaths to suppress his inner restlessness and coaxed softly, "Don't drink anymore. If you drink any more, your head will be buzzing and hurting tomorrow!"
Su Mu seemed to be a little slow in thinking. He tilted his head, as if thinking about Lin Mo's words. After a few seconds, he said slowly in a soft voice: "Now, the headache doesn't hurt. Tomorrow's pain is tomorrow's problem!"
Lin Mo: ...
This is true. What does his tomorrow self have to do with his today self? Lin Mo was a little amused.
"Then I won't drink the wine, but I won't drink the soup either, okay?" Su Mu waved her hands, acting like a spoiled child and begging.
Lin Mo was a little helpless, but nodded. He picked her up and sat on the bed, letting Su Mu sit in his arms with her legs wrapped around his waist.
Then he looked at her lovingly, as she had to raise her little head to look at him, revealing her beautiful and attractive neck.
Before, he was in poor shape and not very strong, so he seldom hugged Su Mu. Firstly, he was afraid that Su Mu would resist such close contact, and secondly, he was worried that his body could not withstand it. Now that his body has been trained, he naturally wants to hold Su Mu in his arms all the time.
He held the other's slender waist with one hand, pinched his flushed face with the other, and coaxed him, "It's okay if you don't drink it, but your head will hurt tomorrow, so don't hide and cry."
Su Mu did not respond. He opened his eyes wide, and his eyelids, which were always closed in the past, were now wide open. There seemed to be a layer of mist in his bright black eyes, which made his already beautiful deer eyes even more attractive.
He stared straight at Lin Mo for a long while, then suddenly laughed softly a few times. His originally cold and hard eyebrows became even more charming and seductive. He licked his lips and looked at Lin Mo with a burning gaze.
Suddenly he said, "Lin Mo, you are so beautiful, fair-skinned and tall. Be my husband, and I will definitely treat you well."
Lin Mo's eyes were as dark as ink. He looked at Su Mu greedily, unwilling to miss any of his expressions at the moment. Listening to Su Mu's emotional words, he raised the corners of his mouth happily.
My wife is really good at talking. If you know how to talk, just talk more. Your husband loves to listen!
Su Mu murmured again, "Lin Mo."
Lin Mo: "Baby, I'm here."
"I'm not a baby." The boy blinked shyly, with tears welling up at the corners of his eyes due to the smell of alcohol. He slowly raised his hand, and his slightly rough fingers gently traced Lin Mo's smooth facial features and high nose bridge.
