Chapter 180: No more descendants

As soon as these words came out, the old fox of the village chief was very quick to react. He immediately understood what was going on.

The village chief said, "So that's how it is." He narrowed his eyes and smiled, "Lin Wen is not young anymore, it's time to consider it. But... has Widow Tang agreed?"

The village chief thought about it in his mind and felt that since Widow Tang had come out to help Lin Mo in today's incident, she must have agreed to this marriage.

Lin Mo returned a faint smile and agreed.

The village chief smiled and said, "So Tang Jie has this in mind. That's great. Your second brother will have a companion in the future. Congratulations in advance."

After seeing off the village chief, Lin Mo looked at Widow Tang who had been standing aside for a long time.

He greeted her with a smile: "Aunt Tang, thank you for coming out to help us just now. Don't stand outside, come in and have some tea."

Widow Tang said nothing and walked into the yard silently.

Su Mu poured her tea, and Tang Jie sat beside her. Mother and son sat close together, yet neither of them exchanged a single word. Tang Jie lowered his head in shame, perhaps blaming himself for his inability to protect her.

Tang's mother also noticed the small details of the interaction between her son and Lin Wen, and couldn't help but look at the child Lin Wen.

Perhaps he noticed someone was looking at him, Lin Wen timidly lowered his head, kept it very low, and ate his meal in silence.

After a hearty meal, Tang's mother took Tang Jie home.

Lin Wenzhe stood alone at the door, watching Tang Jie go back from afar.

Those dark eyes were filled with longing and reluctance.

Lin Mo came over and took Awen's hand, saying gently, "Go back, Tang Jie will come to see you tomorrow."

Only then did Lin Wen reluctantly follow Lin Mo and slowly support him back.

At night, Tang Jie told his mother that he was going to marry Lin Wen. His mother also told him that Lin Mo had come to her and told her about marrying into the family's family, and also asked Tang Jie about his opinion.

That night, everyone in the village went to bed early.

I just heard someone say that Tang Jie knelt at his doorstep for a whole night.
