Chapter 224 Extra 2

After the warm-up, Lin Mo did not hesitate at all and acted decisively. He first fired a few shots at the sign hanging on the building next to him, and used some obstacles around him to leave space and time for the man to escape.

Then he aimed at the group of zombies blocking his way. After a few shots, the zombies' heads exploded and their limbs were scattered all over the ground.

But soon new zombies arrived and the fight went on endlessly. Lin Mo couldn't stand such consumption, so he wanted to end the battle quickly and threw a few naked eggs into the zombie tide.

After a few explosions, the area surrounded by zombies was reduced. Seeing that man gradually distanced himself from the zombies and ran more than fifty meters away, Lin Mo followed him.

Looking around, no new zombies were found yet, but Lin Mo remained highly alert. His intuition told him that the more calm things seemed on the surface, the bigger the storms hidden in secret.

Lin Mo quickly completed the stage jump, and suddenly jumped from a building dozens of stories high to the ground, landing in front of the man from the sky.

The man was so frightened that he almost fell down.

Lin Mo casually pulled him up, and he managed to stand firmly. The man was panting, his chest heaving in bursts of heavy breathing. He took a moment to calm down and look at Lin Mo clearly.

Then he handed the box to him. Lin Mo reached out to take the box and just as he was holding it firmly, a shadow jumped out from the side and instantly knocked the person in front of him away.

A shallow pit was knocked out on the abandoned outer wall. The man was now completely bloody. A black creature turned around and looked at Lin Mo.

Lin Mo only needed to look at the thing once before he knew what it was—a zombie alien.

The deformed and ugly monster was devouring the corpse with tears in its eyes. The rotten body with ribs visible still seemed like a hole that could never be filled. It devoured a living person in just a few bites.

While it was feasting, Lin Mo quickly threw out the rope, and the other end attached to the vertical wall. He used the power of the rope to climb up quickly.

The monster quickly caught up with him, keeping pace with him. As soon as Lin Mo took a step forward, it was right behind him, chasing Lin Mo relentlessly, unable to break free or shake him off.

Lin Mo could only bite the bullet and jump quickly in curves on the walls of several tall buildings to distance himself from the monster.

An ancient clock tower came into view in the distance. Without saying a word, Lin Mo ran in that direction, hoping to find a cover to confuse it.

After several twists and turns, Lin Mo seized the opportunity, jumped into a window of the clock tower, and then quickly jumped out of another window. He aimed the gun at the position where he had just come out and pulled the trigger.

With a bang, it was as if an afterimage was hit. The strong impact of the explosion also threw Lin Mo out from a high altitude.

A black shadow suddenly flashed in front of him. It was too late to shoot, so Lin Mo subconsciously took out a light egg, and the sound of an explosion came from the air.

The black shadow in front of him was instantly annihilated by a white light, and Lin Mo was also enveloped in the exploding white light until he lost all consciousness.

I don’t know how long it took, but Lin Mo only felt that he was in darkness, unable to open his eyes and unable to move his body.

He seemed to have been maintaining the same posture for a long time. After a very long time, he woke up in a daze.

The strong light pierced his eyes and he couldn't open them. He could only wait until his eyes slowly adapted to the light before he dared to open them completely.

Lin Mo found himself lying on a hillside, next to a group of bamboo roots, with not many parts of his body intact.

His clothes were torn and his body was covered with tiny wounds. From time to time, he felt a sharp pain in the corners of his eyes.

He could feel blood coming from somewhere on his face.

He looked around and felt that this place was inexplicably familiar. He forced himself to stand up while enduring the severe pain. Not far away, there was an obvious red box, which was stuck in the gap between the bamboos at an angle.

Lin Mo took a lot of effort to pull it out of the crack.

He walked to a river, bent down to drink some water, and used the reflection of the river to check the injuries on his face.

Noticing that his forehead was bleeding, he quickly took out some emergency medicines and bandages from the space and gave himself a simple treatment and bandage.

Sitting on the shore, he finally caught his breath, looked at the surrounding terrain and thought about it, and felt that it looked like the area behind the Lin family's mountain.

Thinking of this, an idea flashed through Lin Mo's mind, and he wanted to find Su Mu quickly.

He didn't care about the injury on his leg and limped along the route he remembered. He didn't meet anyone along the way. The whole valley was so quiet, so quiet that it was scary.

As he was about to reach the foot of the mountain, a familiar house at the foot of the mountain quickly caught his attention.

Lin Mo vaguely remembered that it was Tang Le's home. He quickened his pace and walked to the front of the yard to take a look.

I found that the yard was overgrown with weeds, as if no one had lived there for a long time. The tiles on the house had fallen off in large areas, and a corner of one side of the wall had collapsed.

A terrible thought suddenly arose in Lin Mo's mind. How many years have passed?

Thinking of this, he became more and more anxious to find Su Mu, almost to the point of going crazy.

When he finally walked along the grass-covered mud road, the Lin family's gate had already been stained with the marks of time. The couplet on it had turned white and the words were almost invisible.

The originally vermilion-colored door had become much duller, with cracks of varying sizes on the edges. When I pushed the door open and looked inside, I saw dust everywhere.

The whole house was filled with a musty smell, and spider webs were everywhere. It looked like no one had lived here for decades.

Lin Mo was about to collapse, and burst into tears without stopping.

My eyes were dazzled, and the scene before me turned into darkness again. Everything around me seemed to become quiet. I could vaguely hear the sound of the wind and the sound of a small stream.

Finally, Lin Mo heard the sound of subtle footsteps and someone's sigh.

Lin Mo felt that voice was very familiar. It was Su Mu, the one he had been thinking about so much. He struggled violently, trying to get out of the darkness.

But it had no effect at all. The consciousness was still there, but I couldn't control my body. My whole body seemed to have lost consciousness.

Lin Mo suffered like this for quite a few days, and finally one day, he opened his eyes.

With a clang, the ceramic bowl was smashed into pieces, and the porridge inside was scattered all over the floor. Su Mu's eyes turned red, and tears appeared along with them.
