"My chubby daughter?"
Mu Anxiang blurted out those words without thinking.
Lanxi instinctively nudged him with her elbow, staring at him with wide eyes, her meaning clear: What are you yelling about?
Mu Anxiang touched his forehead slightly awkwardly: "Uh, my chubby daughter, hello chubby daughter."
Lord Zhao, puzzled, said, "Of course, women are more thoughtful and resilient than men."
Mu Anxiang had been raised with a male-dominated education since birth, and it took him a while to adjust, but out of respect for his elders, he nodded in agreement.
Lanxi found his awkward expression amusing, but still stepped in to smooth things over: "Sister Dan, I think it's fine whether it's a man or a woman."
Seizing the opportunity, Mu Anxiang excitedly said, "Then let's have them all."
Lanxi raised an eyebrow at him: Do you want to hear what you're saying?
Mu Anxiang felt awkward again: "Uh, we still need to take it slow, take it slow."
Lord Zhao watched their interaction and found it amusing: "Still slow? It can't be any slower. Lanxi has been married for more than half a year now, hasn't she? Why isn't there any sign of pregnancy in her belly?"
Lanxi sighed: What's going on? We don't even sleep in the same bed. If there's any noise, then this is really bad.
"Sister Dan, these things can't be rushed. The more anxious you are, the less likely you are to succeed."
Mu Anxiang chimed in from the side, "Yes, Your Highness is right."
"Alright, you've finished eating. You two can go now."
Lanxi and Mu Anxiang exchanged a glance: Go? Where to? This seems to be our room, doesn't it?
Lord Zhao looked at the bewildered faces of the newcomers and patiently explained, "Going hiking in the outskirts of the capital? Lanxi, you should exercise more. I originally wanted you to move around in this courtyard, but there are too many artificial hills and water features in my courtyard, which are in the way. You two can just go outside."
Lanxi was immediately at her wits' end: "Sister Dan, don't do this. I can move around in this yard. Look, I'm moving around now, aren't I?" As she spoke, she ran around the dining table.
"Go, go, hurry up and come back at lunchtime. I'll make you your favorite squirrel fish."
Lanxi's eyes lit up immediately: "Squirrel fish? Great, great!"
After saying that, she grabbed Mu Anxiang's arm and said, "Let's go?"
Outside the Prince's mansion, Lanxi glanced at him and said, "Your Highness, I'll go to Sihai Yixiu to hide for a while. You can go wherever you want. Come find me at Sihai Yixiu at noon, and we'll go home together to eat squirrel fish. You don't know, Sister Dan's squirrel fish is absolutely amazing. I haven't had it since I came to Daqi."
Mu Anxiang turned to look at her, and he was surprised to see a hint of melancholy in her eyes, a stark contrast to her usually carefree nature.

As she spoke, she walked towards the direction of Sihai Yixiu.
Mu Anxiang grabbed her arm and said, "Lord Zhao doesn't seem like someone who can be easily fooled. How about we go for a walk in the outskirts of the capital?"
Lanxi looked at him as if he were a complete idiot: "Your Highness? Are you serious?"
Before Lanxi could even agree, Mu Anxiang scooped her up in his arms and threw her into the sedan chair that had been prepared beforehand.
With a thud, Lanxi landed on the cushion, yelling, "Mu Anxiang! You're really not far from being an anomaly!"
In the distance, after watching the sedan chair depart towards the outskirts of the capital, Lord Zhao's attendants returned to the mansion to report to Lord Zhao.
