"What are you thinking about? How can you be so careless?"
Xiao Yunfeng lowered his eyes, as if he was only glancing at her unintentionally.
Su Jin's eyes flickered, and she didn't dare to meet his gaze.

"Uncle, are you taking such good care of me because of my father?"
Xiao Yunfeng was somewhat surprised that she would suddenly ask such a question, "What do you think?"
Normally, Su Jin would have gotten used to his way of answering; he would always take the lead.
But now all she wants is his answer.
"I don't know, that's why I asked my uncle. Is it because he was close to my father before, that he takes such good care of me? Or is there some other reason?"
For example, feeling guilty and wanting to make amends through her.
Xiao Yunfeng raised an eyebrow at her seriousness and earnestness.
"It was because of your father at first, but not later."
