Chapter 139 I don't dislike it, I just like it

He returned to his room without a word, leaned against the door, and let out a long sigh.

If it really is Yan Qihang, does that mean he has also been reborn?

But he was reborn so many years later than me...

Shake your head, stop thinking about it for now. Thinking too much can easily lead to depression.

When soldiers come, generals will block them; when water comes, earth will dam it.

She is no longer alone; she has a group of friends who are genuinely good to her, and a family who will always be her support.

She will no longer be afraid of Yan Qihang.

She has more important things to do now.

For example: send a message to your boyfriend.

Si Jingxu was holding his phone, about to type, when his girlfriend's message arrived.

He raised an eyebrow. So well-behaved?

It's obvious she did that after she went back to her room.

I just made a video call; there's always a first time for everything.

He stared at the screen for a moment, took two deep breaths, and then answered the call.

“Brother Jingxu.”

"Hmm," the gaze across the screen was equally profound, "You went back to your room? What did your brothers say to keep you here?"

Are they all so perceptive?

Yan Buyu deeply felt that his mind was not on the same level as theirs.

"Let's just chat for a bit," Yan Buyu didn't want to mention Yan Qihang in front of Si Jingxu, she felt embarrassed. "Brother Jingxu, are you alright? Does it still hurt? If not, let's go to the hospital."

“No, I won’t go. If I go to the hospital, I won’t be able to stay with you,” Si Jingxu frowned slightly. “Hiss.”

"What's wrong? Did you bump your leg or does your shoulder hurt?" Yan Buyu asked anxiously.

"I want to drink water," Si Jingxu said in a low voice, with a hint of grievance in it. "It all hurts."

"Ah," Yan Buyu couldn't sit still any longer, "Then, then, shall I go over?"

"Won't that be bad? What if your brother sees us..." Si Jingxu frowned even more.

“They will understand,” Yan Buyu said as he walked out. “Others may not know, but they do. You were injured while saving me, so it is only right that I go and see you.”

Si Jingxu hung up the phone, his brows relaxing.

Looking at the water glass beside him, he curled his lips into a slight smile.

Without saying a word, he jogged over, knocked on the door, and after receiving permission, pushed the door open and entered.

Then he froze at the doorway.

Si Jingxu sat in a wheelchair, wearing the same white shirt he had worn during the meal.

Now, the front of his shirt was soaked with sweat, and the almost transparent fabric clung to his chest, faintly revealing his fair skin.

The pampered and arrogant young master looked at her with a wronged and helpless expression, his eyes filled with embarrassment.

He was startled without saying a word.

This is so alluring.

Thankfully, it was her elder brother's garden; if it were anywhere else, she would have thought she had encountered some kind of mountain spirit or monster.

Yan Buyu swallowed hard, turned around and closed the door. Standing at the doorway, he looked a little awkward. "Brother Jingxu, what is this?"

"Your leg is crippled, and your hands aren't working well either," Si Jingxu sighed softly. "You should go back. I'll have Long Yu come over."

"Why don't you ask Zhou Ze to come over?" Yan Buyu chimed in. "Brother Long Yu doesn't seem like the type to take care of people."

Si Jingxu turned his head away and remained silent, like a fragile scholar.

He seemed to understand without saying a word.

She touched the tip of her nose and asked tentatively, "How about I do it? I'm sure I can be a little gentler than them."

"Okay, then I'll trouble you." Si Jingxu's voice was a bit more energetic than before.

"No trouble at all, it's all my pleasure." Yan Buyu walked up to him, forcing herself not to look at his chest. "Brother Jingxu, where are your clothes?"

Si Jingxu raised his head. "The wardrobe."

Without saying a word, he opened the cabinet door and casually took out a black shirt from among the neatly hung shirts.

He turned around and was stunned again.

Si Jingxu kept his head down, unbuttoning his shirt one button at a time.

Her collar was slightly open, revealing large areas of bare skin, which were still damp.

He felt hot from head to toe without saying a word.

She immediately turned her head away, rushed into the bathroom, and came out holding a bath towel.

There were only a few buttons, and Si Jingxu had already unbuttoned them all.

Seeing her approach, he began to take off his clothes.

He wasn't faking it; the fractured scapula really hurt.

Zhou Ze has been helping me put on and take off my clothes these past two days.

"Let me do it." Yan Buyu saw that his forehead was covered in sweat and knew how uncomfortable he was.

She walked over, banishing all inappropriate thoughts, and gently helped him take off his shirt.

Then, without looking to the side, he used a bath towel to wipe the water droplets off his body.

Finally, I helped him put on his shirt, buttoning all the buttons before he could do it himself.

Si Jingxu chuckled softly, the sound so loud it made his shoulder ache. "How about you tie my tie? Girlfriend?"

"All I know how to do is tie a red scarf." Yan Buyu collected the dirty clothes and then went to get water for Si Jingxu.

She bustled about in her room like a little butterfly.

"Don't speak," Si Jingxu called to her.

"Um?"

"Sit with me for a while." Si Jingxu took a few sips of water from her hand and gestured for her to sit down. "Keep me company."

He sat upright without saying a word, his hands resting flat on his knees.

I've never been in a relationship before, and this is my first time spending time alone with my boyfriend. What should we talk about?

Waiting online...

"Do you hate me?" Si Jingxu suddenly asked.

“No,” Yan Buyu immediately retorted, “Why do you say that?”

“I thought you were always avoiding me because you hated me,” Si Jingxu said, his deep gaze fixed on her. “Buyu, I hope you’re with me because you like me, not because you’re touched or want to repay a debt of gratitude.”

His eyes were beautiful, sparkling with tiny lights. At that moment, besides seeing his own reflection, there was also a hint of hurt in them.

“Brother Jingxu,” Yan Buyu thought for a moment, then mustered her courage to look him in the eye, “If it were someone else, even if they saved me, I wouldn’t stay with them.”

Si Jingxu's brows relaxed for a moment.

He looked at her, waiting for her to continue.

If he doesn't push her, he'll never hear what's on her mind.

“I don’t hate you,” Yan Buyu said, blushing and fidgeting with her hands. Her voice grew softer and softer. “I just… I’ve never been in a relationship before. I don’t know what the process is like, and I don’t know how to be with a boyfriend. Don’t misunderstand, I don’t hate you.”

"Not disliking, means liking?" Si Jingxu tilted his head to look at her.

"Mmm," she said softly.

But he heard it.

A large hand covered her hands. "If you keep scratching, it will break."

She remained silent, her head bowed, letting him hold her hand.

“I’ve never been in a relationship either,” Si Jingxu said with a smile, “but I think a good relationship should be comfortable for both of us. You seem nervous around me, so try to relax and make yourself feel more comfortable, okay?”

Yan Buyu hooked Si Jingxu's finger and looked up at him, "Just like my mom and uncle, even if they don't talk and each do their own thing when they're together, they don't feel awkward, right?"

Si Jingxu smiled with satisfaction.

What a wonderful child, understanding things so quickly! This establishes their relationship as that of an old married couple.

Very good.
