Chapter 468 Song Jingyi's IF Route (Part 8)

Chapter 468 Song Jingyi's IF Route (Part 8)

“I just saw that kid Acheng. He was in a hurry to buy a gift. What’s wrong? Is he in a rush to go back?” Tan Junting sat down in the chair next to Song Jingyi.

"Attend my sister's parent-teacher conference." Song Jingyi's lips curled into a slight smile.

Tan Junting had always known that he doted on his younger sister, but he was still surprised to see him smile like that. "I'm free lately, so I'll accompany you. Your grandmother is still alive, and as a junior, I should pay her a visit."

Song Jingyi let out a very soft laugh. "My grandmother has always been alive. You, a junior, are visiting far too late."

Tan Junting chuckled twice and admitted, "Actually, I wanted to go see your sister."

"Save your breath, my sister is timid and can't stand the sight of blood." Song Jingyi stood up and looked Tan Junting up and down again. "With all these injuries, just stay put."

“I know you feel sorry for me, but I’ve always been healthy and recover quickly. Now that my adopted brother is dead, I’m recovering even faster. Take me with you.” Tan Junting thought for a moment and then said, “I’ll prepare a gift for my sister; I guarantee any girl will like it.”

Song Jingyi ignored him.

The plane arrived in Suzhou on time at noon the next day.

Two black luxury cars were parked on the street next to a high school in Suzhou.

Song Jingyi stood beside the car, gazing at the tightly closed school gate.

"I just asked, school doesn't let out for another hour. Is it a bit early?" Tan Juntin held a roasted sweet potato in his hand, blowing on it as he peeled it. "Want one?"

Song Jingyi glanced at it; an old-fashioned oven roasting sweet potatoes, Xiaoyu's favorite.

"You're only buying one?" he asked.

Tan Junting paused, "Don't you dislike sweets? You eat this, peel it, and I'll go buy another one."

Song Jingyi didn't stand on ceremony and took a bite directly from it.

Two luxury cars and two exceptionally good-looking men were standing there eating roasted sweet potatoes.

Not far away were several henchmen who looked like gangsters.

It's quite a peculiar sight.

Song Tingyu has finished school and is going home for lunch. She wonders if her brother is home yet.

I miss my brother so much.

"Tingyu, don't come home for lunch today. How about I treat you to KFC?"

Zhao Senqi from Class 8 of Grade 11 stopped her in her tracks.

Song Tingyu frowned. "I'm not familiar with you, so it's too presumptuous of you to call me by my name directly. People will misunderstand. I won't have dinner with you."

This person is annoying; he has come up to her directly at school several times.

There are all sorts of rumors circulating in the class now.

"Don't be like that, Tingyu. I just want to treat you to a meal, that's all. If you don't like KFC, can we eat something else? You can eat whatever you like, it's on me." The boy wasn't embarrassed by the rejection, only showed his persistent spirit.

"She likes to eat dragon meat, can you get any?" Song Jingyi's deep, displeased voice came from behind.

Song Tingyu turned her head, saw the person who had come, and instantly smiled, "Brother! You're back!"

She jogged over, took Song Jingyi's arm, and started chattering away: "I thought you wouldn't arrive until the afternoon. I was worried you wouldn't be able to come to my parent-teacher conference. Have you eaten yet? Does Grandma know you're back? What are we having for lunch?"

“I promised to attend your parent-teacher conference, so I’ll come back. My word is my bond. Grandma doesn’t know yet. Let’s go back together. What do you want to eat?” Song Jingyi took two steps, then turned around and glanced indifferently at the boy not far away. “Don’t bother her.”

Zhao Senqi swallowed hard and took a step back.

This man has such a strong presence; the tattoos on the back of his hands and the back of his neck look terrifying.

Song Tingyu is such a well-behaved and sweet girl, it's amazing she has a brother like this...

After finishing his sweet potato, Tan Junting waited listlessly by the car.

The students came out one after another, their faces still young, a bunch of little kids.

I really don't know how Song Jingyi can get along so well with this little brat.

Suddenly, he seemed to freeze in place, his gaze fixed on a certain spot.

The petite and beautiful girl next to Song Jingyi thus entered his field of vision.

Her smile was so bright, and her eyes curved like the embodiment of a crescent moon.

Song Tingyu, holding Song Jingyi's arm and looking up, kept talking non-stop since they met.

Song Jingyi listened attentively to her with a smile on his lips.

He responded to every single one of her questions after she finished speaking.

“That’s Miss Tan, she’s so beautiful.” Acheng walked up to Tan Junting and touched his bald head. “No wonder the boss treasures her so much.”

"Brother Yi instructed that Miss is timid and should watch her words," Chen Mo reminded her.

Tan Junting snapped out of his daze. "Little sister, are you afraid of blood? Quickly check if my wound has reopened?"

Chen Mo: ...

Acheng: ...

"Hi! Brother Chen Mo!" Song Tingyu recognized Chen Mo and waved to him from afar.

Chen Mo stepped forward and nodded in acknowledgment.

Acheng is two years older than Song Tingyu, but he's still a child.

He ran over, grinning, and said, "You're the boss's sister? I'm the boss's brother, my name is A-Cheng."

Song Tingyu glanced at the bald man, then at Song Jingyi, before lowering her voice to ask, "Was he also born to that couple?"

Ah Cheng, with his sharp ears, quickly waved his hands, "No, no, I'm not related to you by blood. I was picked up by the boss from a pile of corpses."

"Oh, hello." Song Tingyu smiled gently; her brother hadn't mentioned it.

“Jingyi, this is your little sister. You two look quite alike,” Tan Junting straightened his clothes and came over. “Hello little sister, I’m your brother’s good brother. My name is Tan Junting. I’ll protect you when you go to Hong Kong.”

I hadn't even recognized the one from before, and another one popped up.

However, Song Tingyu was good at handling things, and the people her brother brought to her were definitely the people he was closest to and trusted the most.

She smiled sweetly and said, "Hello, Brother Junting, your name is so nice."

These words struck a chord with Tan Junting.

His name was chosen by his mother after she worked hard from dawn till dusk. "Little sister, you have such good taste. Junting will give you a gift later."

Song Jingyi stood there with one hand in his pocket and the other held by his sister, watching his sister chat with his friends and brothers.

This is the scene he has been looking forward to for so long.

“Brother, let’s go home. Grandma will be so happy to know you’re coming.” Song Tingyu said as she took out her phone. “I’ll call Grandma and get ready in advance.”

"Don't let her prepare the food, I'll have the restaurant deliver it." Song Jingyi opened the car door. "Get in, my little fish princess."

Song Tingyu got into the car, and Tan Junting wanted to follow her.

Song Jingyi blocked him, saying, "Get in your car, there's no room."

“…” Tan Junting coughed lightly, his face slightly flushed, “Oh, I mistook the car for another one.”

Song Jingyi ignored him.
